The signal scoring is what hooked me. I was drowning in Google Alerts noise before — stuff that didn't matter mixed in with things that actually did. Argus scores everything 1-5 so I can skip the low-priority stuff and focus on what's actually worth paying attention to. The GitHub monitoring is especially good — caught a competitor push to an enterprise auth branch before they announced anything publicly. That kind of early signal is hard to get any other way. The weekly brief is solid too, reads like something a good analyst would write. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First scan takes a little while to run after you add a competitor so the dashboard sits empty at first, which is a bit anticlimactic. Also wish there were more built-in competitor suggestions — you need to already know who you're tracking. Minor stuff honestly, hasn't been a real problem in day-to-day use.
