Every external contractor registers online, exchanges site risks with you, completes safety training in 9 languages on their own phone, and checks in at a kiosk at your gate in under 30 seconds. When an evacuation is triggered, your dispatcher opens the portal, sees every person on site, and sends an SMS with an evacuation map and a confirmation button to each one. The system covers the full contractor lifecycle without paperwork. Phase 1, before arrival: the contractor registers in the aReception portal, uploads company details, contacts, certificates, and the documents you require. You approve or send back for revision. You then send your site risks; the contractor sends the risks tied to their activity. Both sides sign electronically and the signed version is stored for audit. You invite a specific worker through a digital invitation that links to online EHS training. The worker completes the training on their phone in one of 9 languages and signs electronically, finished before they arrive. Phase 2, on arrival: the worker reaches the kiosk, scans a QR invitation or an ID card. The system verifies identity, fills in missing information, and lets them through. Optionally the kiosk issues an access card for the turnstile. The shift supervisor sees who is on site in real time. If the worker has not completed online training, the kiosk does not let them through; they complete it at the kiosk in 5 to 10 minutes and proceed without involving the EHS technician. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate. **Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2026 **What do you like best about aReception?** We use aReception for two things at our sawmill: checking in visitors and contractors at the main entrance, and registering truck drivers at the gate. We handle over 40 trucks a day, up to 60 at peak. Drivers register themselves at the kiosk in their own language (we run it in 4 languages) and then get an SMS telling them that can go into our premises. About 80% of drivers do it without any help from our staff. At the entrance, every contractor completes the safety briefing on the terminal before walking in, and we keep a record of who came, when, and that they went through the briefing. **What do you dislike about aReception?** The first weeks needed some tuning of the questions and flows to fit our gate setup. The team fixed things quickly, but plan some time for it. I would also welcome more flexible reporting exports. **What problems is aReception solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before aReception, the gate was a bottleneck. Our staff wrote every driver into paper forms and a spreadsheet, queues built up and we never had a reliable overview of which trucks were on site. Today the queue moves on its own, we save around 12 hours of gate work per day, and the old spreadsheet is gone.
