I like ArcGIS Survey123 because it can be used on phones, tablets, and computers, which is very convenient. Its data is synchronized in real-time, and after submission, it can be updated on the computer immediately, which is very convenient for my work. I’m using this software to collect the geospatial data of landslide-affected households. It is a very convenient platform in response to collecting data. We have used several attributes such as location info, household info, and slope type to collect in order to prepare a database on landslide high-risk settlements. To have the exact location we used Google Satellite Map and drew the building footprints. Most of the data entering is designed as a drop-down list. Because of that it is a very easy and quick method to collect the large set of data. Using this app, we have collected over 10,000 data about landslide-affected households in landslide-prone areas of Sri Lanka.
