Like most ESRI's products, it's well integrated with other services. This means that data I already have hosted in ArcGIS online for other purposes (FieldMaps) can be easily converted to an app in Experience Builder. It has preset layouts as well as the option to create your own. Depending on our client and the nature of our data, we can tailor the experience to the user. Any changes we make to the hosted feature layer then extends to the app. Much of our data has photo attachments, and with a bit of configuration, photos can be integral to the experience. It's a general downside to working in ArcGIS online, but the need for credits and the inability to go offline. Not huge inconvenience given the nature of the ArcGIS online platform. More wishful thinking than actual expectation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
