What do you like best about Arbor Threat Mitigation System?

The Arbor Threat Mitigation System allows us to defend not only our internal systems, but our customers. The TMS is easy to use during a mitigation, with a high number of countermeasures that can be turned on or off based on attack signatures, not only manually, but individually as well. Multiple mitigations can run using different countermeasures, which allows us to better protect multiple hosts using the same deployment. The TMS uses standard networking protocols, making it easy to deploy into our network. This allows us to mitigate attacks daily using auto-mitigation, with little or no input from an operator. The ATAC support responds quickly to our tickets, which allows us to focus on other tasks and not babysit the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Arbor Threat Mitigation System solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Arbor TMS has greatly reduced the impact of DDoS on our network, not only against customers, but in our deployment, it allows us to spread the attack traffic across the network better. One aspect I appreciate is the flexibility to capture multiple vectors. Additionally, knowing that Netscout handles more than half of the internet's traffic on their products gives me confidence that they offer some of the best protection available on the market.
