It involved several rounds of back-and-forth to gather basic information that could likely have been requested upfront, which made the process longer and less smooth than it needed to be. Apsona is the program we use to add information in large batches. Without this tool we would not have the level of productivity that we currently do. It’s also great for doing mass changes in Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apsona sometimes is not the best tool for making changes to a large group of records. Sometimes it is more intuitive to run a report and import the needed information.

I'm a new user to Apsona. We have been learning it quickly as Admins. Basically, the early use cases have removed need for cross-object report types (entirely) and reduced my use of dataloader by 50%.. I'm really excited to build some resusable processes that make life so much easier. Apsona make it much faster to deal with ad hoc requests like "Can you change the campaign on these hundred records?" "Can you add a new item to these gifts? " Can you add a preference to these contacts?". Seemingly simple reqeuests like this would be a drag on my capacity because of finding the appropriate report type and isolating the records for their IDs to use in dataloader. But now with Apsona I can make these changes is much less than 10 minutes and without saving csv's to my desktop I'll never need again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Running into Apex Limit Timeout errors. We have a large data set compared to other non-profits. On certain objects I need to download a CSV anyway for uploader. This is not reducing the value of apsona though becuase the isolation of said records was far easier than before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At least twice a week I find myself saying, "God, I LOVE Apsona!" I use it for so many things, it truly is indispensable and I can't imagine not having it. I use a lot of related apps and Apsona is by far my favorite, I can't sing its praises loud enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is a little dated-looking but what it lacks in elegance it more than makes up for in functionality. It can be a little tough to figure out at first, especially since some of the filtering terminology is different from what I am used to in our database (we use Salesforce), but once you get used to it and understand how it works it becomes second nature. The one thing I wish was a little easier is to update existing filter sets - basically, you can't. You update, save as a new version and then get rid of the old one.
