"Great Product!!"

What do you like best?

My firm likes the redistricting tools in Apache. What used to take hours in ArcView we can do in minutes now. The software has a lot of the same features as ESRI's products, but it is less expensive and you don't have to buy the add-on extensions to get the same kind of analysis. My firm changed to Apache about three years ago and it was the best thing that we ever did.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes I feel It takes time open the maps and combine other maps into it,

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I am currently analyzing multiple Warehouse and DC's to find a solution for shipping.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Very good and serviceable all-around GIS solution

"Define your human world project with this tool"

What do you like best?

Free to use .

Windows, Linux platforms.

Python code.

What do you dislike?

The interface could be better, like the images in better quality.

Need to use console, so if you do not know terminal commands, is going to be difficult to use it even if you have a web UI.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try to implement in a localhost first, if you are accomodate to it, try to implement in the cloud.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Knowing what countries use my services, i.e. who are getting hosting services and what they use for.

This is an advantage when we deliver the domains to the business so we can get the best hosting for them

What GIS solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"Slick climate modeling tool"

What do you like best?

I like that you can blend several climate simulations into one and have a compilation model

What do you dislike?

usability is good, but it's not like using your iphone. They could do a little polishing here.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to predict rain. We've been slightly more accurate by adding Apache to our toolbox.
