**What do you like best about Analyst1?**

Fantastic Support team, able and willing to implement scripts to solve issues before features get implemented. Seriously I cannot give enough credit to the Support team.

Out of the box very simple to use, especially with bootstrapping offered by Analyst1, they include a ton of feeds and default mappings, most of which were still accurate and did not require any configuration.

Direction of some of the upcoming and more recent features seems to be to sort of "open up" the platform to more customization, which I cannot support enough. For example, custom API sources are already implemented and we have worked with them to build some pretty interesting custom JSON mappings directly from the source instead of me needing to go from a python script back into the platform. But it seems some of the upcoming features are moving in a similar direction.

Integrations with several other tools are extremely easy to set up, any premium source or enrichment source they have, you essentially just put in the key and wait for it to finish loading everything in. Some of the other integrations such as Splunk make it extremely easy to build it into existing processes.

**What do you dislike about Analyst1?**

UI elements are not as intuitive as they should be, for example some settings are across different pages, or lists refreshing when not needed.

also a few of the features/fixes are partially implemented (though they usually get fully implemented in time, and that is a small fraction of the features)

**What problems is Analyst1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is far too much Intelligence in the community to possibly take in by hand no matter how many analysts you have. Analyst1 takes as many sources as you throw at it, and turns those reports, CSVs, STIX, etc. into usable data.

Instead of pulling indicators per report and looking for them, you can ingest indicators from sources you have never even heard of, and set logic to control and prioritize those indicators. Instead of hand-jamming domains into a CSV, it exists in a JSON, or piped into a KV store via the Splunk integration.

Because of Analyst1 these indicators are not just strings of text, they are actual data.
