"Ambition has made accountability easy at Steam Logistics"

What do you like best?

I have used Ambition for about 5 years. First with Access America Transport. We implemented the product with our annual gross sales at about $25M. The visibility it gave me changed the way we saw certain people. We could really show our people who was doing what each day, real time. The salespeople on top and bottom were motivated in different ways. We were able to move the curve forward for the entire company very quickly. When we sold Access America, my location was at $220M in annual sales just 4 years after implementing this product. I currently use it Steam Logistics and it has given us that same value. What do you dislike?

For what I what I use this product for, I really don't have any strong dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ambition helps me with accountability real time. My salespeople can't come in and just sandbag days. I know at all times where they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Accountability - Moving all averages forward.

Visibility - Not only to management but to the users also. You understand where you fall real time and if you want to make improvements you can very quickly.

"Unnecessary expense "

What do you like best?

The ability to set goals and have those goals celebrated and recognized via music in the office Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The time it takes for activities to update within the UI. If we close a sale at 10am and celebrate it at 10am, there is not much value in having a song play over the office speakers at noon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

When you imagine this Ambition being fully implemented, what are the benefits you are hoping for. There are plenty of ways to track sales activity (most can be done via CRM/VOIP reports. Will this tool promote the right type of activity, or will it only ensure that the team hits the metrics. Hitting metrics alone will not help your company grow. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The "problem" being solved is the visibility into sales metrics, across the entire team. I am not completely sold on the actual benefits of this tool. Although the visibility is being accomplished, I have a fear that the visibility is promoting the wrong activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
