**What do you like best about Alitu?**

It's very easy to setup and the editing tools are easy to understand and use. Best of all, the AI audio cleaning is the best I've seen on the market. I tested most of the popular tools out there and none of them are close to the audio cleanup that Alitu can do.

**What do you dislike about Alitu?**

By far the statistics page. The total downloads data and shifts throughout the day, meaning downloads showing up in the "Today" field suddenly move to "Yesterday" and it's not clear which timezone the app uses.

Also, I wish Alitu pulled information on listening time and other engagement metrics. Anyone who has been podcasting for a while knows that downloads without additional context are not a useful metric.

**What problems is Alitu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Alitu to record and edit my podcast. I also use it for guest interviews and for distributing my podcast on all the main platforms: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, YouTube Music, and Amazon. I wanted to manage this stuff in a single app instead of having tool sprawl.

**What do you like best about Alitu?**

Many audio editor or processing platforms have a "Parallel" feature. For example - audio track, music and sound effects. Few have "linear" splicing or editing option- for example intro for podcast episode, episode itself, any call to action and outro. Typically the first and last pieces are the same. Upload them once, select them from the drop down menu, and use the intro/outro for as many episodes you like. Makes a repetitive task easy. 
They have of course added many other features over time.

**What do you dislike about Alitu?**

Site is slow at times, interface is not the sharpest. The clunky interface is somewhat made better by the little 'robot' mascot which appears on the screen. The audio processing may take lot longer for heavier files.

**What problems is Alitu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a project where we had to publish one new podcast episode every day. This is where the batch processing / uploading a common intro and outro was helpful. We had signed up for the paid plans twice - the pricing was much lower (mid- 20's a month in US Dollar terms) and while the price seems to have gone up by 50 percent since then, they seem to have added many more features- audio recording, editing, transcript generation, music library for sound effects. 
They seem to have fallen for the "AI for X" (editing, transcription...)trap, but that is a malaise that affects many SaaS founders, not singling out this particular provider.
