Fairly adaptable to our workforce and scheduling needs. While it could be a little more flexible, overall it is a very good fit for our small service with a significant roster. Many systems are based on a FT workforce with set schedules. With our combination workforce, FT/PT and Volunteers Aladtec gives us a very flexible means of filling shifts. 24/7/365 operations are very comfortable in the Aladtec environment. Additional areas that are useful include a customizable Member information form that we rely on for our operational and primary HR records. The storage are for shared information space, is a little clunky. Not as user friendly in naming files, how to upload / cross link. This could be lack of education on our part. What problems is Aladtec by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you? Scheduling our workforce by far is the bread and butter problem it solves. Organizational situational awareness / communication is also a strong asset to our team. Being able to log in and see what is going on is a big plus for everyone. Being able to self schedule, put out trade requests, and similar are all very helpful in keeping managers from having to intervene in routine scheduling tasks. The most useful feature is the scheduling, which is robust, easy to use, and—thankfully—comes with solid reporting options. If you’re looking for a shift scheduling tool that’s straightforward to maintain once it’s set up, Aladtec is a good solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Aladtec by TCP? The entire platform looks like something out of the 90s, and the UI feels antiquated. File storage is clunky, and the forms are also clunky, limited, and frustrating to work with. Administration for almost any feature is challenging at best and nightmarish at worst. Each time we explored expanding our usage, we ran into product limits, dead ends, or potential security risks, which ultimately led us to abandon that approach and look for better solutions elsewhere. In the end, we rebuilt our intranet in SharePoint, moved file storage to SharePoint or Teams, and now rely on M365 for most of what this potentially promising—but grievously limited—tool is supposed to offer. It is inexpensive. That's good. Their support is OK - depending on who you get. Performance is acceptable, but not especially good or bad, and given our usage was limited at its peak, we are probably not well positioned to comment on overall performance. There are no integrations that worked for industry tools - e.g., IamResponding, or other agency tools. As for modern features such as artificial intelligence? Not here! The software offers a very strong scheduling tool that provides options, which allows it to fit many different operational needs. The mobile application provides a quick way to review information that has been input in the system and the reporting building provides endless possibilities in extracting information from the system. The customer service is also very responsive and has been helpful in understanding how to perform certain operations as well as recovering data that is accidently deleted. It would be more helpful if the hourly editor schedule was able to be modified on mobile. Managing a unique schedule for our employees can be difficult and Aladtec has cut down substantially on legacy work we did on paper. I really like the repeats and rotations feature and find it's easy to use. It simplifies scheduling and saves me a ton of time; I used to spend hours updating schedules for employees but now, with Aladtec by TCP, I can update them within minutes. I am able to schedule our manpower for our department for the entire year and then allow the members to make time off requests and adjustments as needed. The users can access the program from all mobile or remote locations and check the schedule or see when there next time off might be. One issue I had recently was a trade was cancelled and the banner would not go away. I called and they said it was because I had made an adjustment before cancelling the trade. I have not figured out how to change the number of hours it takes out of each off day/time. We work 24 hours a day, but our off time is figured on an 8 hour a day usage. So, I have to convert each off day, and it makes it harder for tracking time off. Also, if it had a way to track clock hours that was equal to FLSA rules it would be nice when it comes to pay roll. I like how Aladtec by TCP is very user-friendly and makes it easy for everyone in our organization to access their own schedules, even when we schedule overtime. It's very accessible to everyone, and all the reports, including truck checks, defect lists, and training reports, are accessible by all members effortlessly. I'm also very happy with the customer support. It's very targeted to the needs of our fire department, allowing us to easily develop our own forms and schedules, add new positions, and track vehicle defects. The initial setup was fairly easy, and we could develop many customized forms specific to our fire department right from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Aladtec by TCP? In the hourly editor portion of our scheduler, events don't show up. We have to switch to a calendar view to get that. Not a big thing, but it would be nice to have that feature. Also, we have a rotating schedule that is very difficult to implement on a day-to-day basis when you have to factor in transfers. It would be nice if there were more options for changing someone's schedule versus just having to end their schedule and start a new one. I like using Aladtec by TCP because it's very easy to use and understand. It simplifies the scheduling process for our dispatchers, and I appreciate not having to write out a schedule weekly. Changing the schedule is a breeze, and I can easily add new users to it. The initial setup was really easy, which was a relief.
