"Exciting AI Filmmaking Potential, with Room for More Control"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

I like that AKOOL offers different ways to experiment with AI visuals and video. I’m interested in creating realistic-looking content and trying ideas I wouldn’t normally think to produce, and exploring the platform feels exciting. It gives me a way to experiment with creative ideas and make visuals without the time, budget, or resources of traditional production, or needing a camera crew, actors, or expensive equipment. Getting started was fairly straightforward and didn’t take long, and the platform has felt approachable while I’m still learning it. I see potential for creative projects as I develop my AI filmmaking style. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

I'm still learning AKOOL, so I'd appreciate more beginner-friendly tutorials and clearer guidance on getting the best results. I'd also like more control over video details, including camera movements, shot composition, and keeping characters and visual style consistent between scenes. "AKOOL Makes Everyday Content Creation Easy with Great AI Image & Video Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

I really like how easy AKOOL is to use. There are a lot of AI tools available in one place, especially for creating and editing images and videos. I can quickly try different ideas without having to use several different platforms. The results are also quite good, which makes it useful for my everyday content creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

So far, I haven't found any major issues with AKOOL. Some generations can take a little longer than expected, but overall the experience has been good for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convincing Talking Avatars That Streamline Training Videos"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

The avatar quality is what ultimately made the case internally. We produce training and explainer content for clients, and the talking-avatar output is strong enough that no one has asked whether it’s AI. The lip-sync looks convincing, and the voice options cover the languages we need. For a support team, that translates into fewer revision cycles and less back-and-forth with the creative side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

The credit system is the part I keep having to explain to people. We’ll run a batch of videos, the output isn’t quite right, so we regenerate, and by the end of the day the credits are gone—yet nobody can tell me exactly where they went. I’ve started screenshotting the dashboard before and after sessions just to keep a record of what was used. That’s not how a tool should work when you’re trying to budget. "Talking Avatars That Cut Training Video Turnaround from Days to Hours"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

The talking avatar feature is what we use most. We produce training videos for clients, and being able to drop in a script and get a solid presenter without booking a studio has cut our turnaround from days to hours. The face swap is also cleaner than I expected—we’ve used it for a few internal campaign mockups, and no one flagged it as fake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

The credit system is difficult to budget for. We’ll burn through credits on a project that needs multiple regenerations, and then I’m left explaining to my manager why the month ended up costing more than the quote. I’d much prefer a clearer picture upfront of what a typical project usually costs in credits, so I can plan accordingly. That lack of predictability is my main complaint. "Akool Makes Urdu–English Course Video Localization Manageable"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

We localise our course content in both Urdu and English, and Akool’s video translation is what makes that workload manageable. The lip-sync is solid enough that it doesn’t come across like a dubbed afterthought, and the voice tone is generally decent as well. For an ed-tech platform trying to reach students across different regions, it’s been genuinely useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

Translation accuracy tends to drop when the text includes technical terminology, so I still need a human review pass. Numbers and course references also occasionally come through incorrectly, which is risky when you’re dealing with pricing or certification details. On top of that, there’s no way to save approved language as a glossary, so it doesn’t learn from what I’ve already corrected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Akool’s Multi-Model Workflow and Unlimited Mode Make Asset Creation Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

The multi-model platform setup is extremely useful, especially for switching between different models to get specific results. There is no such thing as one tool that can do it all, and you will have to bounce between different image generators and video generators to get specific results. Having all of those tools in one workflow makes it convenient so that you don't have to bounce between multiple, resource-intensive programs like Blender, 3D Studio Max, Bryce3D or Poser to get the results you want, whether it's character generation, scene generation, or animation sets.

The ability to save images, photos, face swaps, and motion swaps via the online cloud storage or directly to your hard drive is very useful. Sometimes I found that generations were decent but not great, but I still wanted bits and pieces from one generation to use in another. Being able to save video or images and then splice, cut and rearrange the content makes it highly efficient.

Unlimited Mode is a game changer. So many platforms utilize fixed credit systems, and unless you opt for an enterprise solution, you're basically stuck burning TONS of credits each month for results you may or may not use. If you're building an asset library with specific movements and actions, you are never going to get the results you want in the first try, or the second, or even the third or fourth, and so the unlimited mode can be highly useful for experimenting and refining your workflow.

So far, I have yet to find another multi-model platform that offers this solution for asset generation. So Akool stands out in that regard and could be a big selling point juxtaposed with the other platforms that rely solely on paid credit plans.

You can also integrate these toolsets into just about any workflow that utilizes modern media formats, making it highly versatile, whether it's motion matching, motion switching, face swapping, image generation, video generation, or even voice generation.

As an AI platform it's highly scalable with the options afforded to different types of users looking for a versatile and feature-rich design environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

I initially had trouble accessing the Unlimited Mode as part of the Pro plan I subscribed to. It took several business days before the issue was resolved, and it required a lot of back and forth, videos, and screenshots to identify and explain the problem and eventually get it sorted.

I can imagine some people who don't have the patience for these kind of tech issues may not stick around if things don't work right day one. I think as the company matures they will need more immediate support for non-enterprise users.

The Unlimited Mode can also take hours to produce results depending on the time of day and how busy they are. It's a sensible tradeoff given you can produce unlimited amounts of generations without expending credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Akool Keeps Our Safety Training Current with Mobile Modules and Strong Voiceovers"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

Stevedores and crane operators work rotating shifts, so getting everyone in the same room for a safety briefing is almost impossible. Akool lets me turn our procedures—lashing standards, crane hand signals, PPE requirements, emergency stops—into short modules that people can watch on their phones during a break. The Vietnamese voiceover is solid, and the English version is generated from the same script, which matters because we have foreign supervisors on site. When we need to update a procedure, I can just revise the script instead of re-shooting everything, and that’s the difference between a safety notice staying current and ending up six months out of date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

It can’t show a lashing being tied or a crane signal being given. Those are physical, hands-on skills, and having an avatar explain them from an office setting is basically useless for the practical modules. I’ve ended up using voiceover-only for anything that needs to demonstrate technique, and saving the avatar content for policy and procedural explanations where it actually fits. It also mispronounces Vietnamese technical terms badly enough that I’ve had to re-record some sections myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Same-Day Variations That Transform Client Expectations"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

When a client asks for a variation—whether it’s a different language, a different presenter, or just a new opening line—I can usually turn it around the same day instead of quoting a fortnight. That’s genuinely changed the way clients talk to us. They’re now asking for things because they know it’s feasible, which puts us in a far better position than constantly having to manage expectations downward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

Explaining AI-generated content to clients has become a recurring conversation for me. Some are enthusiastic, others are uneasy, and a few have asked whether their audience might feel deceived. I’ve ended up developing a bit of a script for those discussions, and we’re careful and selective about where we use AI. The platform itself doesn’t offer any guidance on disclosure. "Clear Multilingual Claim Videos That Reduce Escalations"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

We use it to send clients videos when something goes wrong—explaining how the claims process works, what documentation we need, and what the timeline looks like. In a stressful moment, a calm, clear video does more than a policy document ever could. The multilingual output also helps: a client who doesn’t read Spanish well can get the same explanation in English. Since we started using it this way, we’ve seen fewer escalated calls about claims. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

For claims work, tone matters enormously, and the AI delivery here still feels flat. A client whose furniture arrived damaged doesn’t want to be talked at by a neutral avatar. I’ve ended up recording the audio myself and using Akool only for the visuals, which partly defeats the purpose of using it in the first place. On top of that, there’s no way to lock in approved wording, so I have to review every output manually against our legal language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Consistent Urdu & Sindhi Health Explainer Videos Without a Camera Crew"
5/5
What do you like best about AKOOL?

We create short explainer videos on diabetes management, medication adherence, and post-op care, and Akool lets us do it without needing a camera crew or a clinician who’s comfortable on film. The Urdu and Sindhi dubbing is what matters most for us—many of our patients aren’t reading English leaflets, and hearing a familiar voice explain things can be worth more than a printed page. The talking avatar also gives us a consistent presenter across forty videos, which we simply couldn’t have pulled off with real people. Turnaround for a new video is usually about a day, so we can respond to seasonal health issues while they’re still timely and relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AKOOL?

The Urdu pronunciation feels inconsistent. Medical terms like "hypertension" and "insulin resistance" often come through with strange emphasis, and some words pick up an accent that doesn’t sound local. I’ve ended up keeping my own phonetic spelling list to compensate, which helps, but it’s still extra work. The avatar options are also not very representative of how our patients actually look or dress, so we’re stuck working with a pretty limited set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
