**What do you like best about AfterSession?**

The best way to do documentation without recording sessions

Review:
I’ve tried a few different AI tools for documentation, and most of them rely on recording or transcription, which I’m not always comfortable with in a clinical setting.

AfterSession takes a different approach that fits much better with how I actually work. I can write a short summary after a session and it generates a structured SOAP note that I can review and edit. The output is clear and organized, and it saves a significant amount of time compared to writing everything from scratch.

It’s also helpful that I stay in control of what goes into the note, rather than relying on a full recording.

It is amazing how much time I am able to save on my note taking thanks to AfterSession. It helps me even when I question myself as a therapist, I just talk to it as I would another therapist as thought I were reviewing my session and then it populates it into a perfectly organized SOAP note. I love it!

**What do you dislike about AfterSession?**

I was intimidated at first on how much to say and how it was going to work. After doing a couple of trial notes, it felt much smoother. I had to put a couple of prompts in to tailer it to write more like me, but after that it has been smooth sailing!

**What problems is AfterSession solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was taking FOREVER to get my paperwork done. AfterSession is helping me to be a more productive therapist. I now have more time for phone calls to referrals sources or to psychiatrists I collaborate with. I have more time to do things I want to do.
