## Acquia DAM (Widen) Reviews
 ### 1. Acquia DAM Provides Powerful Asset Management Backed by Excellent Resources and Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umair M. | Communications and Digital Platforms Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Acquia DAM (Widen) is an excellent platform for storing, organizing, and managing digital assets at scale. The user experience is intuitive and well-designed, offering both list and icon views that make it easy for users to browse and locate content quickly.

The platform provides flexible configuration options for asset groups, categories, metadata, and user roles, allowing organizations to tailor the DAM to their specific needs. Search functionality is powerful, helping users find assets efficiently even within large libraries.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Overall, Acquia DAM has met our needs very well. One enhancement that would be valuable for administrators would be the ability to preview the assets from the perspective of different user roles before publishing configuration changes. This would make it easier to validate permissions, navigation, and user experiences across various audiences.

In addition, while Acquia provides a strong knowledge base, more role-specific training resources, practical use-case examples, and video tutorials would be beneficial. Content tailored to how organizations are using the platform in real-world scenarios would help both administrators and end users maximize the value of the DAM and accelerate adoption across teams.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing a centralized digital hub to store all kinds of files ranging from PDF to videos. It is a one - stop - storage for all assts for internal and external stakeholders, which is a service we needed in a long time.

 ### 2. Acquia is Committed to Continuous Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary L. | Asset Librarian, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like that Acquia is eager to find ways to improve their product line with improvements that matter to their customers like hosting the summits. They help Acquia staff and customers stay in touch with each other, while learning about the different ways we can use the software to improve our work lives.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

There seems to be a steady flow account reps changing out since we began using the software in 2024. We understand that although they were all friendly and helpful, there is sometimes a lack of understanding about software issues and questions we had, and either they sent us an article or sometimes there was no response at all after they offered to look into things. I see there has been an effort to improve this recently, so it's not so bad now.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Acquia DAM has been able to meet the faster pace our marketing company demands.

 ### 3. Revolutionized Asset Management and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the Paths feature, using it to help solve an issue of a broken process which took up manual time. The support team Acquia has built is extremely helpful. They are excited about helping and talking about new features and benefits, and they seem to love hearing feedback and building on those feedback. It's truly a supportive team.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Some features on the portal side could use more work. Like the feature banners, being able to add multiple buttons and editing the template on the portal pages would be nice.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to organize and share assets, create sales portals, and automate file updates, helping us stay consistent and save time by reducing rework, miscommunication, and asset errors.

 ### 4. Organized Portals that Boost Asset Downloads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madeline H. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the dynamic filtering feature in Portals, it helps keep the Admins accountable for the correct tagging and releasing of assets to make sure they populate in the Portals. I also like how clean Portals are for presenting materials for Campaigns, it makes for a much easier landing point for our users to download assets and has increased downloads overall.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I wish there were more web building/customization options when it comes to creating portals or home pages, such as adjusting padding for text or images, or being able to drag around tiles/buttons for easier updating.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm excited at the prospect of using the natural language search and how that could be very beneficial to our users, rather than strictly relying on catching all possible keywords/variations.

 ### 5. Streamlined Asset Management, Minor Filtering Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake D. | Photographer & Digital Asset Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the fact that I can have portals, so I can create individual collections for our distributors and partners. And they can all be very specific to different brands or companies. Another thing that I really like about it is that given the fact we have so many product numbers, I can upload a LUT from NetSuite that has all of the product numbers, with the item descriptions, make, model, all of that stuff into Acquia. And just based on naming conventions, the metadata fields will be loaded with the correct information based off of only a few keywords.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Sometimes the filtering options on the sidebar care not ideal to keep updated. I seem to struggle occasionally with providing updated filters on the side, showing make and model, device types, vehicles, and all that kind of stuff. Even though the search function works really well, I would still like the filters to work just as well. Streamlining how those filters are updated and work with our current auto-tagging would be great.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to store digital assets, making it easy to find what my team needs and improving searchability, reducing time spent on asset requests.

 ### 6. Well-Organized Asset Management with Strong Search and Metadata

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I enjoy using Acquia DAM (Widen) overall. It provides a well-organized and centralized system for managing assets, which makes it easy to quickly find what I need. The search functionality and metadata structure are especially helpful in streamlining my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

One of the downsides of using Acquia DAM (Widen) is that the interface can feel unintuitive at times, especially for new users or when performing more advanced tasks. Certain workflows—like bulk editing, metadata updates, or asset sharing—can be more time-consuming than expected. Additionally, search results can occasionally be inconsistent if metadata isn’t perfectly maintained, which can make it harder to locate assets quickly. Performance can also lag when handling larger files or high volumes of assets. Overall, while it’s a powerful system, there are usability and efficiency improvements that could enhance the experience.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia DAM (Widen) helps solve the challenge of managing and organizing large volumes of digital assets in one centralized location. It reduces time spent searching for files and ensures that teams are accessing the most up-to-date versions. This benefits me by improving efficiency, streamlining workflows, and making it easier to collaborate across teams.

 ### 7. Highly Configurable Permissions Make It Stand Out

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Roles and asset permissions are highly configurable. Rarely are there any technical issues or does the site go down. Features are well tested.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Features are SLOW to roll out. It's been taking 2+ years to get feature parity for analytics, search, etc. The system is better geared for smaller companies. Many of our requests are based on larger volume of assets and high number of user accounts. We also get a lot of user feedback about how the user interface is not intuitive. Need more work done on the APIs, too.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is serving as our Marketing DAM. Other than comments about the interface and no folder structure, users do not complain much about it. We have a lot of automations that include upload of assets and downstream publication based on rules. So, the DAM sits in the middle as the source of truth.

 ### 8. Versatile Tools and Seamless Integration, But AI Features Lack Functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay H. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

AI Facial Recognition, new interface, and the new rollout of the Natural Language/NLA search, to assist users with semantics.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Letting features be more granular, instead of global vs none at all.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiently connecting our users with the content they need/looking for.

Excellent Data Insights and export features.

Solving time constraints for our users going through various channels to obtain content, when the DAM has it readily available at their convenience.

 ### 9. Acquia DAM Streamlines Asset Organization with Powerful Search and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

What I like best about Acquia DAM is how effectively it centralizes and organizes digital assets while still being easy for teams to use day-to-day. The advanced metadata tagging and search capabilities make it simple to quickly find the right files, which saves a lot of time across marketing and content workflows. I also appreciate its strong collaboration features, version control, and ability to maintain brand consistency across teams and channels. The platform is scalable, intuitive, and integrates well with other marketing tools, making it valuable for both content management and cross-functional collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Internet use and the fact that it requires constant high speed data which is sometimes tough

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia DAM helps solve the challenge of managing large volumes of digital content across teams, departments, and channels. Before using a DAM, assets are often scattered across shared drives, email threads, and cloud folders, which makes it difficult to find the latest approved version of files and maintain brand consistency.

 ### 10. Excellent Platform for All Types of Practices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay T. | Clinical Systems Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

The Insights dashboard is a great way to monitor usage across several different colletions.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Many of our portals have different sections. It would be great if I could add sections and then have the ability to also edit the settings for all the sections once instead of having to do it in each individual section. This would be a big time saver.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this platform has allowed us to have one collective space for all of our staff handouts, patient resources, workflows, images, etc. Being able to "search" for a document, makes the daily workflow for the staff way easier.

 ### 11. Flexible Metadata Management, But Dashboard Customization Needs Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil W. | Digital Asset Strategy & Execution Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Acquia is a simple but effective powerhouse when it comes to metadata and structure. It's easy to set up taxonomies that can be customized for different assets types and totally configurable from the Admin panel. It's a simple but effective interface for Admins to build their DAM to suit their business needs.
The real-time chat with Support is a very good service offered to quickly resolve issues.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Acquia could improve the tools available to build customized user dashboards for internal users as well as the tools available to build customer-facing dashboards or so-called portals.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main area we use the DAM is to support our websites with rich content and up to date images. As the single source of truth we know that the images on our websites are the latest and most updated images. The second area is sharing assets. Having the DAM has solved a huge problem we had when it came to sharing assets, especially images and marketing materials. Users can easily build Collections of assets, store their Collections in a personal area of the DAM and share these Collections with both internal and external stakeholders. The look and feel of the Collections is easily configured and can be customized depending. on the final use case.

 ### 12. Exceptional Metadata Management and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Penjo C. | Digital Asset Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Acquia DAM provides strong metadata governance, fast bulk operations, and accurate search results. The UI is intuitive for agencies, which speeds onboarding and improves upload quality. Reliability is excellent with consistent performance and no outages. Portals and Collections simplify distribution to external partners, and rights/expiration controls reduce compliance risk. The API framework makes integrations straightforward, allowing us to automate ingestion, metadata updates, and downstream delivery to CMS and e-commerce systems.

The portals are very handy in offering a curated approach for an organization.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Would like to have Triggers an Actions thats customizable to a user.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portal Building has been a blessing at my job. Portals are one of the most beneficial features in Acquia DAM because they give me a controlled, branded way to deliver assets to internal teams and external partners without exposing the entire library. They eliminate ad-hoc file sharing, reduce repetitive requests, and ensure everyone receives the most current, compliant assets. Portals also support version control, expiration settings, and automatic updates, which lowers risk and keeps distribution aligned with governance rules. For agency partners, Portals act as a single source of truth that streamlines collaboration and reduces back-and-forth communication. Overall, they save significant time, cut down support tickets, and strengthen asset consistency across all channels.

 ### 13. Always Evolving Platform That Keeps Improving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cortney W. | DAM Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like how the platform is always evolving. They don't rest on their laurels and are always looking to address issues with upcoming changes and fixes.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I think that the Portals could have more features. They are very basic now and without a good graphic designer can look very basic.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like the facial recognition feature. It’s been a big help when I’m trying to identify people in older assets. I’ve also heard that more AI features are on the way, which I’m looking forward to.

 ### 14. Organizational Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabrina B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

We have been using this to store and sort through our organization's assets, which is 30+ years old. We have a ton of images and branding that are easy to sort thanks to the DAM.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Tagging can always be improved! We never want to lose assets because of a stray tag being incorrect.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage

 ### 15. Easy to Use, Great Support, and a Huge Value-Add

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer V. | Industry Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Easy to use, great support, huge value-add for my company.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Integrations didn't always worked as promised, some assurances of functionality that didn't exist in the way we needed.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huge time saver for my org, providing a single source of truth for assets, saving us over $82k annually with BIM file download service

 ### 16. Acquia delivers a solid DAM experience and backs it up with superior customer service.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick O. | Digital Asset Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

The Acquia Collective provides robust administrative tools that allow us to manage and separate multiple unit asset groups and their roles. It also provides a pleasing user interface that makes it easy for users to quickly get started in finding assets. Best of all, Acquia's customer service has been excellent, providing quick assess to a knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly living, breathing real people on the other end. Add to that ongoing webinars, user groups and feature updates and its easy to find answers and support to grow our DAM.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I would like to see more ability to customize some of the administrative tools, mainly in the area of sandboxing admin permissions. Allowing a unit admin to manage more options for their users and asset group while keeping them strictly in their lanes would be helpful. User-customizable upload profiles (without admin access) with the same restrictions would also be helpful.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Migrating to Acquia allowed us to get away from a staff-supported database DAM and aging, internal storage hardware. The overall security, as well as the role and asset permission options enabled us to open access to our assets to all of our campus unit communicators, as well as allow them to upload their own assets to the DAM. Robust custom metadata fields combined with Brand Portals provided the tools needed to easily create and manage Brand asset and share them with our entire campus community without the need to onboard those users into the DAM.

 ### 17. Good Dam easy to use, could do better with more features (integrations data, path notifications).

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marianne D. | Sr Creative Ops Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

not really new features that I am aware of so nothing new I like

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

new feature release would be great, option to get one-time use asset links or temporary share links would be great - option to have parent-child linkage would be nice to.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

compliance issues are now resolved : Widen is our unique source of truth for approved marketing documentation, it integrates with most of our tools (website, print &sales enablement platforms, CRM, etc.) to ensure documentation shared is compliant and up to date.

 ### 18. Acquia DAM Is Intuitive and Easy for Metadata, File Edits, and User Roles

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Acquia is easy and intuitive to use as a DAM product. It is easy to edit file names, update metadata fields, and manage user roles

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

It can be difficult find and edit duplicate files

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia has always been very responsive and helpful when I have reached out for support

 ### 19. Flexible, Integrates with Anything, and Reasonably Priced

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Flexible for any taxonomy, integrate with anything, reasonable price

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Middling reporting and tools for asset analysis, some functions are more manual than I'd like, the interface has some clunky elements that they're gradually improving

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DAM is our source of truth for Marketing materials and related assets. There are neat opportunities for integrating with other systems we use and expanding our relationship with Acquia to support our web site and product management.

Use AI for image classification of metadata

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Yes in portal are possible improve to give more flexibility

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

guarantee the existence of a single repository and be the only source of truth regarding our digital assets

 ### 21. Game changing software that is indispensable for our organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | Multimedia Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

The Aquia DAM is an invaluable tool for our organization. Once it is set up and implemented, it makes finding, grouping, and distributing digital assets simple and easy. There are also some great tools to track insights and integrate with other software.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Any DAM is a bit of a bear to get set up. It takes a bit of learning to wrap your head around how it all works as well. The Aquia DAM has a few UI design quirks that frustrate me sometimes, but there is active development and improvements being made on a regular basis.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Aquia DAM solves the problem of being able to find, track, maintain, sort, and distribute digital files across our entire organization and distribution channels.

 ### 22. Streamlined Media Management with Powerful Metadata Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I find the metadata and asset details in Acquia DAM (Widen) hugely helpful for tracking and sorting files by industries and product types. The ability to add and edit details with such precision makes organizing our creative media files especially easy. I also appreciate the capability to pull XLS sheets sorted by media type and asset category for auditing purposes. This level of detail aids significantly in maintaining an organized library of digital assets. The collections feature is instrumental when sharing groups of files with users, further streamlining the process of distributing media. Once the initial setup process of Acquia DAM (Widen) is completed, using it becomes very smooth and intuitive, making my workflow more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Sometimes there are so many data fields and options, it's not entirely clear what is affecting what.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Acquia DAM (Widen) centralizes our media files, providing efficient searching with metadata and control over access. The detailed metadata aids in sorting by industry and product type, while XLS sheets for auditing enhance content management.

 ### 23. Centralized Asset Management with Sharing Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I appreciate how Acquia DAM (Widen) allows us to store all of our digital assets in one centralized location, making it incredibly convenient to organize and access necessary files. The ability to easily share collections with outside agencies and external individuals enhances our collaboration efforts significantly. I find the creation and management of collections to be a powerful feature, as it permits us to organize asset groups effectively and ensures that only the marketing team uses the platform, maintaining a structured and secure environment. Moreover, our sales team particularly loves the customer portal, which I believe streamlines their workflow and provides a user-friendly interface for accessing the relevant tools and information.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I find the search functionality challenging, as people often struggle to find items using the search tool. Additionally, there are issues with optimizing categories, although this might be partly due to internal organizational practices.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to centralize digital assets, enabling easy sharing with external agencies and creating organized collections for others, benefiting my sales team with an effective customer portal.

 ### 24. Ideal for Enterprise Asset Management with Great Sharing Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I appreciate how Acquia DAM (Widen) serves as a centralized hub for all digital and marketing assets within the Enterprise, as well as for sharing these with external partners through easy-to-use Portals. Acquia DAM (Widen)'s ability to provide diverse data insights is invaluable for preparing quarterly and monthly reports for business partners, owing to the platform's multiple data options that simplify data retrieval. I find the Portals feature particularly beneficial for globally distributing approved digital brand images to salespeople, offering a more sophisticated solution compared to simple zip files or SharePoint links. The extensive permission settings within Acquia DAM (Widen) are perfect for managing numerous users at an Enterprise level, allowing for controlled access and role-based content visibility. This capability simplifies the administration of user permissions and content management. Furthermore, I am looking forward to the upcoming Insights app feature allowing dashboard creation, which is currently being developed by the Acquia team, as it stands to enhance our reporting capabilities even further. Overall, Acquia DAM (Widen) integrates successfully with platforms like Seismic and CI Hub, contributing to a seamless workflow across tools, and I rated it an 8 out of 10 in terms of likelihood to recommend, based on its robust functionalities and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I find it challenging that there's currently no ability to permission tags creation to specific users, which limits our ability to control tag management. Additionally, there's no way to track all global collections within the DAM easily as I'd like to be able to export these as a CSV file or have them integrated into the Insights app. Furthermore, I've noticed that several simple quality of life improvements could be made, yet these do not seem to be prioritized on the Acquia DAM (Widen) roadmap.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to centralize our digital assets, enabling seamless sharing with external partners and role-based access control, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.

 ### 25. Versatile DAM, Needs Portal Design Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I appreciate Acquia DAM (Widen) for its versatility, which goes beyond merely serving as an image repository. It effectively addresses the problems associated with siloed storage by centralizing all digital assets, making them accessible for everyone to find, download, and share effortlessly. The customizable file sharing and brand portals offer a tailored approach that strengthens trust with our partners and customers, bolstering our reputation as a reliable company. The robust file-sharing capabilities and ability to host images centrally are substantial improvements over our previous solution, enabling better tracking and timely updates. While initially challenging, the setup process was significantly eased by the outstanding support we received, helping us navigate technical and security aspects to see through to successful implementation.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I think portal design capabilities need to be expanded. The different ways we can tailor-make our portals have not changed since at least 2021 when I worked with Widen last. I would love to be able to upload assets directly into certain portal design areas, rather than create an element in Illustrator, upload to the DAM, then place in the portal. I would love to see Acquia expand their accepted openface fonts in the Templates app to support Adobe Fonts.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to centralize our digital assets, enabling easy access, download, and sharing, moving away from siloed storage. It improves file sharing, enhances our reputation, and allows seamless integration with our website for image management.

 ### 26. Highly Customizable with Minor Speed Bumps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teddy H. | Brand Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like how customizable Acquia DAM (Widen) is, allowing us to tailor the experience to both internal and external users effectively. This flexibility ensures everyone gets what they need from the Digital Asset Management system, without accessing anything beyond their requirements. I find the tool intuitive when it comes to sharing externally and setting up access for others. The organization of assets for future usability and maintaining a healthy asset ecosystem, with archival considerations in mind, works particularly well, especially given the multiple business units across the enterprise.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I am encountering issues with the collections page and portals in Acquia DAM (Widen). The accessibility of collections is inconsistent depending on whether they are linked or integrated into the portal, with the latter being much easier for external users to navigate. Additionally, download times are often exceptionally long, and this does not appear to be related to caching, which can hinder productivity.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to organize assets across various business units, ensuring future usability and a healthy asset ecosystem. It offers customization for both internal and external users, making access intuitive and secure.

 ### 27. Organizational Gem with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lindsey j.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like the advanced search feature of Acquia DAM (Widen), which we use quite extensively. Customizing dashboards based on users is another aspect I appreciate, as it holds significant potential for streamlining our work processes, and I plan to assess and redesign them for greater efficiency. Additionally, I am intrigued by the facial recognition feature and its potential to enhance our workflow, even though I haven't integrated it fully yet. The system has made finding assets considerably easier, reducing the frequency of requests like 'where can I find a photo of X' significantly, signifying its impact on improving workflow and ease of access.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I wish I could customize the navigation bar more to improve user experience. The current setup does not allow for a dynamic approach where higher-level metadata fields can lead to more specific options as filtering progresses. This customization would enhance usability. The new AI features are not satisfactory; the free Copilot is not very useful because it fails to understand or learn from our specific DAM data, which could frustrate users. Additionally, the free AI tags are inaccurately labeling items, which undermines the system's reliability. The initial setup of Acquia DAM (Widen) was not very easy. Despite choosing Acquia for its promised setup support, we had to redo much of it due to our inexperience and some guidance that may not have perfectly suited our needs, such as limiting metadata values per field, which conflicted with our requirements.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to keep our assets organized and easily findable, reducing the need for marketing to manage spreadsheet data. It simplifies asset searches, decreasing frequent requests for asset locations.

 ### 28. Promising Features, But Falls Short for Unique Needs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather G.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like the portals in Acquia DAM (Widen) the most and the way they allow different views for different people. Our marketers frequently use these portals to share assets, and we've even mirrored a desktop version of our sales enablement app using them. The ability to set up varied user views is crucial for us because it helps maintain necessary restrictions on asset removal, enhancing our workflow and security measures. These features potentially make Acquia DAM (Widen) a powerful tool if leveraged fully.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I am disappointed that Acquia DAM (Widen) did not provide an Asana trial when requested. This was frustrating as the workflow capability is potentially very beneficial for us, yet we only require it as a proofing tool, and it would be ideal to have a simplified version that caters specifically to this need. Additionally, the lack of support for IND files is a critical issue for us, as these files are essential in our operations. Overall, Acquia DAM (Widen) doesn't seem to fully align with our unique needs, and their features are not as supportive as we would hope.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) for asset collection and appreciate its portals for sharing assets and restricting access.

**Official Response from Nicole Ngoon:**

> Hi Heather,

Thank you for being an Acquia DAM user and for sharing your feedback on G2. We're glad to hear that you are getting value out of the Portals, and it is exciting to see how you've mirrored your sales enablement app using that functionality.

We want to apologize for the frustration regarding the Asana trial request and the lack of simplified proofing solution. Your feedback regarding a "lightweight" proofing tool is helpful for our product team to hear.

 ### 29. Versatile DAM with Excellent Organization Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ray K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I really like the organization and portal features of Acquia DAM (Widen). The system allows us to maintain all our digital assets in one place efficiently, which is crucial for keeping everything organized and accessible. Additionally, the ability to assign roles and permissions for asset visibility enhances our control over who can access various digital assets, which is incredibly beneficial for managing our resources. The portal feature stands out as it enables users, who do not typically have direct DAM access, to view necessary assets. This functionality is instrumental, particularly for streamlining processes related to our website and promotional activities. The improved organization helps our team stay coordinated and manage our assets more effectively, contributing positively to our overall productivity. Although the initial setup involved a learning curve, the process now feels effortless, making the transition worth it.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Sometimes the search functionality is a little funny. When you search for one thing, multiple (non-alike) items will pop up which makes searching for assets difficult. There was a learning curve when it came to setting everything up.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to manage digital assets centrally, improving organization and access with roles and permissions and aiding in promotions and website use.

 ### 30. Centralized Asset Management and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger J F. | Executive Vice President Of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Centralized asset management: Acquia DAM gives you a single, cloud-based repository to store everything — images, videos, documents, logos, product art, brand guidelines, and more. That means no more hunting across drives, emails, or shared folders.

Integration with tools & systems: Acquia DAM offers many pre-built integrations (or via API) with CMS platforms (e.g. if you run websites), creative tools, e-commerce platforms, marketing automation — helping digital assets flow naturally from creation → storage → distribution.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Complex Setup & Long Implementation
Initial onboarding is not fast, Requires Metadata schema design, Taxonomy, building, User role architecture, Workflow mapping. Also - User Interface Feels Dated Compared to Newer DAMs

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our files are everywhere, no one knows which version is correct, people can’t find what they need, branding is inconsistent, and we waste time recreating things that already exist - turns scattered, disorganized, risky digital content into a controlled, searchable, secure system of record!!!!

 ### 31. Robust Brand Control and Customizable Portals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2015

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the clean look and highly customizable interface of Acquia DAM (Widen). The portals are also a standout feature, allowing us to easily create microsites without needing to engage external agencies, which saves us both time and money. They are flexible, modular, and require no design experience, which significantly aids in our product launches by simplifying the process of building a portal and supplying all the necessary assets to sales. Additionally, the integration with our PIM and Master Data software facilitates a seamless workflow. The initial setup process was smooth and well-supported by a helpful implementation team, making the transition straightforward. Overall, the system serves as a reliable single source of truth, granting us control over our brand while saving time and money by ensuring that content is not shared outside the system. I've been a long-term customer and, based on my experience, I would highly recommend Acquia DAM (Widen).

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I feel that the quick search function in Acquia DAM (Widen) needs improvement. Users often prefer to search the way they do on e-commerce sites like Amazon, but the quick search currently provides the largest and possibly less targeted search results. Although the left-hand filters are very accurate, they are not the preferred method for many users. I am hopeful that the introduction of semantic search will enhance the search functionality.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia DAM (Widen) serves as a single source of truth, enhancing brand control, saving time and money, and ensuring version control. It facilitates asset sharing and creative material creation, supports microsite development without external agencies, and integrates with our PIM and Master Data software.

 ### 32. Comprehensive Asset Management with Acquia DAM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bailie D.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the ability to manage our metadata structure and set up alerts for assets that are missing required data in Acquia DAM (Widen). This feature is incredibly valuable as it helps ensure that all our digital assets are correctly organized and accessible, which saves us time and improves our workflow efficiency. Additionally, the integration potential with other tools such as Salsify PXM and Salesforce Commerce Cloud expands its utility significantly, allowing seamless synchronization and use of images across different platforms. This integration ensures our team can maintain consistency and accuracy across sales channels, which boosts productivity and ensures packaging precision. The transition from cumbersome on-site servers to Acquia DAM (Widen) has allowed greater flexibility for our team, enabling access to digital assets without being restricted by location. Overall, Acquia DAM (Widen) has become a critical component of our operations, helping us manage a diverse range of resources efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I encounter issues stemming from years of not having an Admin, leading to a significant effort to clean up poorly uploaded assets. The absence of AI tools to assist in identifying, versioning, or removing these assets is a notable gap, although I am aware it's on the roadmap. The delay in having such AI capabilities is frustrating, as it would greatly facilitate asset management.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to manage digital assets, ensuring a single source of truth. It streamlines metadata management and alerts us of missing data, enhancing asset organization and accessibility for our team.

 ### 33. Centralized Asset Management with API Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I use Acquia DAM as our single source of truth for media assets and customer agreement forms. It effectively addresses the issue of data storage sprawl by enabling us to keep all files centralized, enhanced with custom and useful metadata. One of the standout features for me is the API, which I find advantageous due to my software development background. This allows me to integrate the DAM system with almost any other application seamlessly. This integration capability is crucial, as it supports our current workflows with tools like Wrike and SmartSheets, and has previously allowed me to integrate with numerous custom applications in different job roles. I also recall that, based on my experience at my last company, the initial setup of Acquia DAM (Widen) was exceptionally smooth and efficient, thanks to the hands-on support from the Widen staff. This contributed greatly to a positive implementation experience.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I want more reporting/analytic capabilities and more ways to manage portals.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) as our single source of truth for media assets, solving data storage sprawl by keeping files consolidated with custom metadata.

 ### 34. Frequent user with limited training currently reorganizing our companies assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth B. | Assistant Director | Graphic Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Once you get familiar with the system’s capabilities, it’s fairly easy to use. The ongoing updates to improve functionality are excellent, and it’s clear you listen to user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

The UI has definitely improved, but it can still be confusing at times. There are limitations in how some account settings can be managed. Since I joined a couple of years after the system was originally set up, I found a lot of repetition across categories, roles, asset groups, and metadata. It has taken months to rethink and reorganize, and I still have weeks ahead to finish recategorizing and cleaning up redundancies.

**Recommendations to others considering Acquia DAM (Widen):**

Make sure you take the time to define your usage & strategize on the organization to make it as efficient and effective as possible for your business.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing the customization of the upload settings for various departments or types of assets will simplify the process for most of my colleagues not only making more efficient use of their time, but also encouraging the proper cataloging of the assets to allow successful future searches.

 ### 35. Intuitive DAM with Robust Features and Room for Metadata Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianne S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like that Acquia DAM (Widen) is versatile enough to support different upload profiles for various brands and areas within our company, which helps in organizing our assets efficiently. I appreciate how it accommodates different user profiles, allowing us to specify access and visibility, so each user only sees what they need to. This feature is particularly valuable for maintaining order and confidentiality across departments. It's also beneficial that designers can create collections and portals, making it easy for team members to locate specific assets as per their immediate needs. The Copilot feature enhances user experience and adds to the efficiency of asset management. Overall, these functionalities help streamline our digital asset management significantly.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I find that the inconsistency in entering metadata by uploaders is problematic. Although some fields have been made mandatory, there remains a need to clean up older assets. The varying levels of detail provided by different uploaders—some filling all fields, others only the mandatory ones—result in inconsistency. This inconsistency makes it difficult for users to find assets through a general search within the DAM as opposed to accessing specific collections or portals. Additionally, the lack of a dedicated DAM administrator makes managing uploads time-consuming for designers and marketing specialists, despite the system's intuitive design.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acquia DAM (Widen) to solve asset storage issues, making it easy to organize and access final assets for campaigns and sales. It allows for different user and upload profiles, aiding in targeted access and easy retrieval of specific content.

 ### 36. User-Friendly, Fast, and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I find Acquia DAM very user-friendly, as it was simple to learn and integrate into our workflow. Uploading or updating files is fast, and they become accessible to everyone right away, which I really appreciate. Additionally, customer support is readily available whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

The main issue I have is that there are so many settings to select when uploading files, which makes the process take longer than I’d like. Additionally, after clicking yes on one of the options, the screen changes and presents several drop-down menus. This forces you to find your previous spot again before you can finish filling everything out.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia DAM addresses the challenge in our company of ensuring that everyone has access to the most up-to-date documents. It allows us to update and reload files quickly whenever necessary, making current information readily available to all employees.

 ### 37. Effortless Asset Organization and Distribution with a Great Portal System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nichole F. | Director of Creative Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I love the way it organizes our vast array of assets in a very easy way to distribute. I love the portal system! I love the opportunity to get so many of our daily tasks all housed in one platform.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I wish associated platforms, such as Templates and Workflow were solely housed under Acquia...having to use so many other vendors to make those work is cumbersome.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to roll all of our server needs into Widen as well as work with CI-Connector Hub to make a virtual workplace. We are currently exploring Templates and Workflow as a way to get more of our tasks all under the same Acquia platform.

 ### 38. Centralized Resource Hub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Britt S. | Senior Product Marketing Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I really enjoy that Acquia DAM (Widen) has become a genuine resource hub for our company. On the Assets side, it is wonderful for version control and static links to only the most recent assets and being able to organize them into Portals makes them easy to highlight for our internal customers. On the Entries side, the integration with our ERP system and other sources of information make it easy for our internal customers to find the product information they need, which also includes Assets from the DAM.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I understand that with a lot of applications under the Acquia system, development time is limited resource that needs to serve all areas, but as a business stakeholder for the Entries implementation at our company, I wish there was more development happening on the Entries application. There are certain features we have submitted early in our implementation of Entries that would really impact the usability and adoption of the system for our users, and I wish there was some more movement or acknowledgement of those requests.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our implementation of Entries, the DAM has really asserted itself as a main resource for our company. Being able to house all of our pertinent product information (from multiple sources) in one location is a huge win for us across our sales and branch organizations.

 ### 39. Functional, but looking to refine and asset classification sometimes messy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian M. | Digital & Communication Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I would like to have more refined search options, as well as a reverse search function: to be able to provide an image and receive similar images in return.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Sometimes, the layout of the assets can be a bit messy.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the ability to have unlimited access to an image library.

 ### 40. Highly Customisable Metadata Makes Searching Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Metadata functions are very customisable and allow us to making searching easy and effective for users. The advanced search function works with the detailed metadata to make it easy to find what you need no matter how many assets are on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Sometimes it can take a long time to get support from the technical support team.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The insights allow us to report comprehensively on asset usage, gaining insight into which assets are valuable to our users. This then impacts the type of assets we create and allows us to prevent waste. The portals allow us to host specific assets for different user groups and provide a customisable and easily accessible interface for different user groups.

 ### 41. Powerful Asset Managementp

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave L. | Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Widen offers many layers of depth to manage and enable your assets. It allows me to make complicated decisions to make it an easier experience for the user.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Lately, I've noticed lags and slower load times..with coworkers also noticing at the same time. This is an intermittent problem, not a deal-bresker, but an annoyance.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chamberlain has launched dozens of new products this year, and I have been revamping the DAM and portals to better showcase the new product assets.

 ### 42. Intuitive and Easy to Navigate for Admins and Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I appreciate the intuitive nature of the platform for both the admins and the users. The onboarding barriers are much less daunting knowing that the platform is so easy to navigate and use!

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I think the add-on integrations are a bit pricey when you have multiple users. For example, $200/seat for Adobe CC adds up quickly when you have a team of designers.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a better, more efficient way to store and manage assets that is accessible and intuitive for any level of user. The amount of time spent searching on network drives, tapping into tribal knowledge and frustration that accompanies is significant!

 ### 43. Metadata Management and Content Sharing with Acquia DAM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

What I like best about Acquia DAM is how we were able build it to perform in a way that suits our company's needs. The customizable metadata fields are at the core of the functionality, and when paired with the powerful search tools and shortcuts it makes it easy for anyone to locate specific assets.
I also value the training we received from the Acquia team once we decided this was the DAM for us. We worked with a coach weekly over the course of a few months to get us trained on all the ins and outs and she took us from complete novices to successful DAM admins.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Not necessarily a dislike, but it's worth noting that Acquia DAM is largely information based rather than a flashy website. Even with all the customizable features and ability to make custom Portals I feel that at the core of the platform is a focus is on asset searchability and functionality, however the content-over-aesthetics approach suits our needs very well.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us greatly by consolidating all our creative assets in one place, and through careful metadata tagging and asset group security protocols we are now able to easily share them with the correct audiences.

 ### 44. Visual Asset Management Made Easy and Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Being able to have a visual reference for different asset types.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Managing the metadata so that it's correct and consistent across all asset types. Part of this is due to proper training but it's difficult to communicate out updates in our process in a timely and effective manner to all users. It can also be difficult to search for assets because of the sheer volume and filter types. It would be helpful to have an "exclude" option or a better way to choose multiple metadata options when filtering search results.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single source of truth for assets helps our team know what is current and active.

 ### 45. Great Customization, But Frequent Errors and Reindexing Slow Progress

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byron M. | Photographer and DAM Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Custom meta data and asset governance are great! Allows for a lot of flexibility in how the system is setup.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

Program errors that have been slowing down our progess changing meta data. The site needs to be totally reindexed too often

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a robust image search experience that frees up our team to focus on creating content and not finding it for other people.

 ### 46. Powerful Asset Management, Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Masami O. | Associate Director of Marketing and Creative

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I like that Acquia DAM (Widen) is easy to navigate for the user and I'm aware there's much more power behind it than we're currently using. I really like the ability to create and make portals to share externally. I can easily create a portal for outside vendors, for example, and choose which assets they have access to in one organized location.

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I do think it is cumbersome to get backend information placed within the system.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquia DAM (Widen) helps us organize and share creative assets within our organization and with external vendors through custom portals, managing access levels easily.

 ### 47. Exceptional Customer Service and an Intuitive, Efficient Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly O. | Sr. Creative Designer /DAM Global Admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I really appreciate their customer service and the excellent platform they offer. It's extremely easy to use and feels very intuitive. The solution has created more efficiencies in our department and across the company

**What do you dislike about Acquia DAM (Widen)?**

I would appreciate having more personalized demonstrations of the new features as they become available. I prefer videos for these presentations.

**What problems is Acquia DAM (Widen) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The DAM serves as our central hub for all things related to packaging, from storing files, images, logos, and other elements to managing routing and workflow approvals throughout the company. It has reduced our time to market and made project sharing both possible and seamless.
