"A Clear Winner"

What do you like best about Acorn?

When researching a new LMS for our company Acorn PLMS was a clear front runner when compared to other providers.

Their innovative approach to training and performance management sets them apart from other LMS providers.

The extensive reporting will be of great benefit to our company.

Customization and a clean user interface was important in our search, Acorn PLMS offers extensive customization and an easy to use learner experience.

The sales team was very helpful and quick to answer any questions or concerns.

So far the implementation has been smooth.

Cost is very reasonable compared to other vendors.

What do you like best about Acorn?

I like that you can brand custom pages for different groups of people, this works well if you provide customized training or focus on collaboration with multiple business uses. I also enjoy that Acorn is very user-friendly and our design team got up and running within 10 minutes of instruction! Finally, I love their responsiveness to our needs and ideas, they have made two changes based on our onboarding feedback and were incredibly quick with the turnaround time! What do you like best about Acorn?

My biggest downside currently is some of the terminology being a little weird. Momentums/Capabilties/Cohorts I feel are just throw away words that may not exactly describe what they are to users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks so much for the comment on usability. We agonize over trying to allow our customers to make suitable user interfaces (UI) because we firmly believe that good UI=stronger adoption. Adoption is the enemy for all of us to attack on technology projects. If we win this battle, we win the hearts and minds of our users.

Your comment on terminology is deeply appreciated and has already impacted some internal efforts to share our point of view more clearly on why our naming is the way it is. Keep this feedback coming. It makes us better.

What do you like best about Acorn?

The Team at Acorn is its greatest asset. They are always quick to respond and very helpful. The system is very user-friendly and intuitive. Once I started building courses I realized what an easy-to-use system it was! "Best Client Experience - Wonderful People to Work With!"

What do you like best about Acorn?

The people who have been supporting us in the background, helping us get set up with a new learning platform. Geordie and Cody have been wonderful to meet and work with, and we have learned many opportunities to customize the platform to our unique needs and desires for our Early Learning community here in Dufferin County. Geordie has had so much patience and perseverance in working with us to ensure we understand the possible functionalities, and to navigate set-up in a way that works best for us and our users. It appears that our users will be able to easily transition to our new learning platform, which we will soon find out! Either way, we know that we will have the support to navigate any challenges that may arise in the process. We are also excited to utilize some of the data features across the site. What do you dislike about Acorn?

The only possible dislike I can think of, is the language used across the site that has made learning navigation and site creation a little bit more challenging. A small trade off for all the good that appears to come from Acorn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acorn solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ease of registration to our local events and learning opportunities for our early childhood educators, and keeping all of our early learning resources and opportunities together in one place. Providing opportunities for online communication through forums, and the possibility of creating cohorts or communities of practice virtually that can further support our in person encounters with the community. "Steep learning curve after an easy initial course setup"

What do you like best about Acorn?

Easy enough interfaces and uncluttered LMS learner pages can be set up. Setting up courses is very easy and intuitive. Customer support to help with issues has been fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acorn?

Not always intuitive to resolve certain functional requirements -- eg bulk enrolment of students needs to be completed via a TEnancy Mangement, Cohort completion link rather than within the course. Some other functions could work better. Eg the Wiki function could be very useful but it's not a great setup in its current form Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
