**What do you like best about Ubidots?**

The best thing we liked about Ubidots was its capability to integrate with various communication protocols and major was its interconnectivity with mqtt since our sensors relied on mqtt as primary communication source.  We also liked how their analytics engine was giving us useful alerts whenever data packets were missed, in-between data correlation and a lot of other powerful computational analysis.

**What do you dislike about Ubidots?**

Ok, so basically the dislikes are not what should prevent anyone from using Ubidots, but they are just a means to help them get a clear picture of what can't be achieved with it. With Ubidots, we were not able to able to get our Lorawan devices working properly and also we wanted the data to be pushed to databricks which posed a big challenge.

**What problems is Ubidots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So Ubidots has a lot of great potential in all fields of IoT be it smart cities, smart farming or smart mining. And the best thing, its like a out-of-the-box tool which can be utilized as a plug-and-paly system for any IoT based PoC.

**What do you like best about Ubidots?**

Free startup and very low cost after you get rolling. The SMS text on a variable change was the game changer for me. 

**What do you dislike about Ubidots?**

Not much. Perhaps 2-3 devices as you learn would be nice as opposed to one. 

**Recommendations to others considering Ubidots:**

It's easy give it a try. 

**What problems is Ubidots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am building a prototype sensor and alert system. If this works I can see commercializing it for much less than most systems out there.
