Service Titan has so many pros.  It handles memberships well, we can see our revenues in real time, all the tech details are so important!  Make sure you take the time to set up everything well - they will help you!

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Like with any software its not always intuitive how to do something.  But they have a lot of information to get you through it.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are always updating and they take in User feedback so its getting better and better all the time.

The design, which creates a very user-friendly experience. ServiceTitan's design is lightyears ahead of other industrial softwares I have worked with in the past.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Some minor things, like technicians not being able to add tags to equipment. I also wish we could create text message campaigns that are not tied to recurring services.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to have automatic campaigns running in the background, allows technicians and other roles to easily complete jobs and have all the information they may need right at their fingertips.

Service Titan is the best CRM on the market for trades.  The KPI tracking and reports you can run are unbeatable.

The one-on-one support for small businessess.

Service Titan pulls up the customer automatically when they call.  It tracks my CSR's booking metrics and my tech's conversion rates.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

Great product with an all-in-one tools offering. Every aspect of the interaction with customers can be supported by the tools offered. The audit function is especially useful.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

It's very complex to install and has a very steep learning curve. The learning curve is so steep, that for a short period of time you will need to hire one person to handle the transition. Due to its initial complexity and subpar customer support team, It's probably better suited for mid-size and large companies with a large IT department.

Interacting with customers in a way that leaves a paper trail and can be audited easily.

I like the fact that Service Titan is always evolving. There is a lot more functionality than other field services software. Also, the reporting functionality makes it easy for users to see what's happening in their businesses.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Sometimes the features can be overwhelming. If you don't keep up, you will fall behind. Also, getting a resolution of issues can take a lot of time, even if you have the problem and fix it well-documented.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with customers that struggle with implementation or functionality after implementation. Service Titan's internal support or lack thereof, makes my job, and others like it a necessity.  I feel that my explanation and training of ST to customers helps them see/use the benefits.

What I like most about Service Titan is that at any given time we are able to see the numbers for the day, week, month or YEAR!

If everyone isn't on board with the platform and pulling in the same direction, it will not be a success.

The most important problem that we are solving with Service Titan is the problem that has not yet arrived.

Service Titan is all-in-one software is built for home and commercial contractors, and that really good for us.

Till now I have not faced any issues to have any dislikes about Service Titan

All the options avilable and all the different videos. Our ST coach is one of the most amazing people ever! Mariam is  such an amazing help!

All the bugs and glitches with the system. 
we always have issues with Inventory... espically serialized inventory

Keeos us organized and on top of things when the system works properly.

The thing i like best about ST is the ability to see everything all in one platform.

My biggest complaint about ST is it seems like most new features come out prematurely before being completely finished.

ST has helped us be able to constantly view our numbers and adjust pricing on the fly.

It is for the most part, very user friendly. As well as the fact it is cloud based, so you can access it anywhere.

Anytime there is an update, it inevitably breaks one or more things.

rumor has it, we might be getting combined ACP WITH zoned capacity as well.  That would be HUGE

One portal for all things from sales to invoicing. It allows you to get all your information in one spot. This may help stream line business

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

In most things, we have been bounced from one success manager to another. NONE of our core problems are being addressed. The system implementation killed us and now we are stuck with a system that is barely functional.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is supposed to stream line the experience help routing and lessen the amount of staffing needed, however it has done the opisite.

I really can't think of anything that I like about Service Titan.

Onboard - Go Live - Using Daily - Reports - Payroll - Tax Tracking - Price Book - Integrations with any other software... I could go on and on.

Service Titan made big promises and delivered on nothing; everything has become significantly more complicated with Service Titan.

The software itself and its features are very good and they are ahead of their competitors in that regard.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Support can sometimes take a while to get back to you and sometimes the answers are not close to what I am looking for but they are getting better on that front.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made our reporting exponentially better and has made our customer communication from 0 to 100. Customers love the texts they get when a technician is on the way and a link to track them.

We love that any and all customer information can be found in ServiceTitan. It saves us so much time from having to hop over to multiple platforms when we need to get an answer quickly.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Their MarketingPro arm can be a pain in the sense that we do not have the ability to upload lists for specific email blasts following street team events for lead generation.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They make communicating with both customers and technicians a breeze, saving us time and keeping everyone in communication!

I've used ServiceTitan for several years now with more than one company. I've recommended it to more than one company as it's clearly the best CRM.

Many CRMs are a bit intimidating to roll out and use for contractors, but ServiceTitan's support team makes the transition easy and painless.

Service Titan provides the potential means to ensure consistent billing of service work.

I would like the live/support chat feature but it often takes several minutes for a rep to respond and the chat has a timeout that closes it if you're not focused on the discussion.

I would like the support I do receive but they often just refer the user to a support article (sometimes outdated) and move on.

I would like the task management but it appears to be an abandoned feature in terms of development.

I would like the project feature but there is no practical workflow benefit aside from grouping the invoices for billing.

I would like the reports feature but there is very little to speak of in terms of customization and control.

I would like payroll but bugs in the mobile app cause more work fixing timesheets than I hoped for.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

I dislike that several reviews of Service Titan appear to be from individuals who are rather disconnected from the actual software workflow and really only appreciate the idea of the reporting and accountability Service Titan promises.

Customer service is lackluster at best.

Setup and onboarding is a significant investment itself - a cost above and beyond Service Titan's already excessive (function v. value) fee structure.

The User Interface is inconsistent and often illogical. Configuration is convoluted and not up to modern standards for UX.

Correcting user mistakes takes longer than you would expect.

Offline use-ability is hit or miss; they recommend only using Service Titan with a "strong signal". Of course, through onboarding and pre-sales they said it was fully functional offline.

Our adoption of Service Titan replaced paper timesheets and has the potential to speed up billing...

Their sales team are outstanding.  The graphical interface is good.  Their upfront onboarding concept is good, and the onboarding staff are professional.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Service Titan was designed for Residential HVAC contractors.  That's it.  They HAVE NO CLUE when it comes to what commercial contractors need nor do they understand industries other than HVAC.  

All of their training including online training, documentation, and videos are designed and presented specifically for Residential HVAC contractors.  It is 98% useless for a Commercial Electrical Contractor like us.  There are very fundamental functions that are completely missing.  When I've asked tech support for help trying to get these things working, they tell me 'the design team decided' and then some uninformed answer about 'best practice' and why we don't need that specific function.  (I could give a LONG LIST of missing capabilities)

Their design team has to be a bunch of college graduates with NO EXPERIENCE IN THE REAL WORLD.  

This has been an absolute nightmare.  Now we are stuck because we canceled the contract with our previous software, we are in a contract with Service Titan, and have invested so much time and money getting it set up.  It's a joke.  For commercial contractors it is a dismal failure.   Many times I have literally wanted to pull my hair out.

If you are a commercial service contractor - go somewhere else

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTitan:**

If you are a commercial service contractor you should look elsewhere.  The design team has no clue what commercial service contractors need.  When telling them what we need, they try to explain their 'best practice' instead of listen to what other products offer and what we need.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure they are solving anything yet.  I've seen willing help from tech support, however, they are limited by glitches in the system, bugs in their programming, and limited capabilities in their design.  'The design team' has not stepped up and taken on real-world commercial contractors' needs.

Service Titan has allowed us to increase business with our current team and has allowed us to be completely digital!  We love the Customer communication tools, and our customers love to get a photo of our technicians before they arrive!  The support that Service Titan provides us is incredible as they are always willing to answer questions as they arise.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Service Titan is such a massive program, sometimes it is challenging to stay on top of new features making sure we are using it to its fullest!  Some of the features are still fairly manual: I would love to see more ease with creating infinite schedules on each technician and reporting features available for nonjob events.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTitan:**

Service Titan helps set our Company apart due to the customer communications, automatic processes, easy reporting, and live KPI tracking!  It is second to none software, and I would recommend it to and contractor looking to make a change! Be prepared to learn and keep learning as this product is continually growing and changing, keeping up with industry demands!

We are currently working on a significant glitch regarding our confirm feature.  Our appointments are un-confirming themselves, and there is a recognized bug the tech team is working out.  We are still waiting on a resolution for this.

Everything other than MarketingPro seems to work. If you are using ServiceTitan for marketing purposes you better have an ethernet connection because the smallest hiccup will delete the whole campaign.

There is not much freedom in formating an email. Image size requires too many modifications and the scale sizing is not accurate. I wish they allowed larger file sizes and more user-friendly adjustments within the templates. Customer support is a nightmare.

It is easy to save client information and pull reports. You are able to identify very specific client groups and manage them independently. It does seem that they know they are a step above the industry standard CRM and stopped progessing there.

The software itself is very user-friendly and makes streamlining everyday processes very easy. Service Titan is forever evolving and improving, so it is nice to have software to grow with you.

Because they are a continuously growing company, their employee turnover rate per position is pretty high, so it can be a little frustrating having to continuously work with new success managers. Also, yes the software is forever evolving, which is great, but we find it hard sometimes to be able to customize the software to fit every aspect of our business model and day to day operations.

Make sure that you research whether or not the software will fit your business model, and be prepared to take ALOT of time setting up your system as it is very intricate. The setup can be very frustrating at times but once you get the system in working order it really is a great software to use.

Service Titan does everything better than every other provider aside from their add ons. They have so much customizability that you can find a way to get just about anything you want.

The add ons for Service Titan are ludicrously expensive and require year long contracts. Also, the customer service that used to be tip top has fallen in the last few years. They used to give you a specific rep that would contact you when something new came out and help you implement it. Now you are basically on your own.

Service Titan connects with our website, google, gps, and text. We use it to keep track of sales, invoice customers, and many other objectives. It works the most consistently of any other field service software we've tried and we've tried a few.

Overall attempt of professional layout.  We like the way calls are recorded and can be answered by multiple CSRs.  We currently use Memeberships but had a very bad experience exporting info from
Housecall pro.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Honestly,  great program if You dedicate 6 months plus in transferring and on boarding from a previous system.

We felt very rushed from starting of
Implementation all the way through going LIVE.

Be aware,
You will be rushed through a training course and are told everything will be handled in success by your manager and if you weren't able to look at all your emails and follow a college level
Laid out class for on boarding you will have issues from a poorly designed program all the way to accounting issues, membership issues,  idk not the program we thought we would get.

Triple the money then house call pro and loosing money since we joined.   Our success manager is trying to help but being in the field I'm not able to run a business and work around all there schedules as they have minimum time fames available.  Unfortunately business owners refered to as Tennents by service Titan have a schedule to.  If you have issues they will through lots of homework back at you as if you need to fix there issues.

I don't have quit I'm hanging on best we can.  But so far no impressed like we thought we would be.

We were able to get one month credit that was all.
We're going on 3 months with almost 0 issues completely rectified.

I hope this helps someone who is questioning weather to make the same jump we did.
