## RemotePC Reviews
  ### 1. RemotePC Delivers Near-Instant, Lag-Free Remote Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

What stands out most about RemotePC is how responsive the connection feels. The speed of input from the remote PC to the office PC is nearly instant, which makes it easy to work as if you’re physically there. There’s minimal lag when typing, clicking, or navigating between applications, so it doesn’t slow down productivity or create frustration during longer sessions.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

There’s not much to dislike so far; everything has been great. RemotePC has been very easy to set up, and it’s made it simple for our entire office to work remotely without much friction.

The only minor issue is occasional lag, but that seems more related to WiFi connection strength than the software itself. Overall, it’s been a smooth and reliable experience.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RemotePC solves one of our biggest challenges with remote work, which was employees needing access to files on both their office and home computers. Before, this meant constantly transferring files back and forth, which was inefficient and created potential security risks.

With RemotePC, our team can securely access their office computers from anywhere, eliminating the need for file transfers altogether. This not only improves efficiency but also adds a layer of safety by keeping everything on the office system rather than moving files between devices.

  ### 2. Cost-Effective Remote Access with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Collin F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I appreciate that RemotePC is super cheap compared to alternatives. It's also great for file transfers, which work really well. The initial setup was easy, just like installing any other PC program.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Some files can't be transferred for some reason, they error out. When remoting into computers with a slow connection, the app doesn't really want to connect, even after 5 minutes of waiting. I ended up having to use another program for that time and to transfer the files I was trying to transfer. Also, a chat box for the app would be nice; I've seen AnyDesk has it, and when I was remoted in last, I used the Notepad to type to the remote PC user. If it does have it, having it more prominently shown would be better.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC for accessing managed computers remotely to test programs. It solves getting kicked out of free programs flagged as commercial use. It's super cheap compared to alternatives and has great file transfers.

  ### 3. Highly Effective for Remote Work, Needs Easier Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan G. | ACCOUNTING CLERK, Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I use RemotePC to view and use my work computer from home or when I'm away from the office. This is especially helpful for updating things in the accounting software I use. RemotePC allows me to work from home, which is really convenient if I'm not feeling well or can't be in the office for the day. I really like the ability to see and edit things on my work computer, particularly the accounting software, from home. It works fast, unlike other remote programs I've used, and the computer screen I see from home with RemotePC is exactly what I would see at work.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

It was a bit confusing to set up. It was unclear I had to install the program on my work computer in order to use it. I had to google search how to use RemotePC. It was still a bit confusing and I had a coworker help me. It would make more sense if the directions were more clear or easier to use.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC to access my work computer remotely, allowing me to update my accounting software from home. It's fast and mirrors my work environment, enabling seamless work-from-home capability when I'm unable to be in the office.

  ### 4. Generous Licenses and Easy Multi-OS Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph R. | Admin Chief, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I use RemotePC to access my lab network of computers with different operating systems. RemotePC allowed me to access all of my devices with a quick and easy installation. I love how the Professional License allows me to access 10 computers—compared to other software where I could only access three—for the same price. I have complete access to Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems. I was introduced to RemotePC by a colleague who used it to configure a radio from my laptop remotely, and I was impressed by the functionality and the generous amount of licenses. The initial setup was easy for all operating systems.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I found that I was prompted before I was able to log in to a newly installed machine, but when I clicked on the provided link, I received an error. I was still able to access the new machine, but the error page was confusing.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RemotePC allows me quick access to all my devices across different operating systems with easy installation. The Professional License lets me access 10 computers, unlike other software where I could only access three.

It was a remarkably easy system to set for our office. Honestly nothing that I can note at this time

Very simple to set up, with no hidden settings that make it uncomfortable to use, and the pricing is decent for SMBs.

As an attorney, I appreciate that RemotePC makes working remotely from home more accessible. It lets me access the files in the office more comfortably with a fast connection between my office and home computers. This fast connection enhances my experience because I don't need to restart or relaunch every day, which is a big plus. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas C. | Associate Pastor of Church Ministries, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I love how RemotePC allows me to connect remotely without needing to be on-premises, enabling me to access computers from either home to my workplace in the church or vice versa. One of the standout features I appreciate is the ability to transfer multiple files of any size between computers, which significantly boosts my efficiency. Being able to update last-minute changes from home without the need to physically drive to the church saves me a considerable amount of time and hassle. The initial setup of RemotePC was very easy, which allowed for a smooth transition and has been beneficial in getting everything running quickly. Overall, RemotePC meets my requirements exceptionally well, reinforced by the fact that I switched from Google Remote Desktop due to its limitations with file transfer sizes, and I would rate my likelihood of recommending RemotePC to a friend or colleague as a perfect 10.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Every once in a while, the initial connection will disconnect right away, and I have to attempt to connect again. This doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC to connect remotely, eliminating the need to be on site. It allows seamless file transfers of any size, saving time and effort by updating changes without commuting.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I feel like going into RemotePC through your phone could be a little easier. It lags a lot, and when I try to zoom in and pinch to go to where I need, it doesn't work sometimes or it doesn't zoom, but it lags.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 14. RemotePC: Fast, Reliable, and Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob J. | Owner, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I started using RemotePC because of its amazing value for the price, especially compared to TeamViewer, which I've used for years. It allows me to access computers in a dental practice almost immediately and solve problems quickly, which both my customers and I love. RemotePC has a very fast connection time and responds really well, making it a much better choice for me than TeamViewer. It's clear that RemotePC saves me time and my customers appreciate the fast connection because it solves their problems quickly. Although the setup was a bit harder than TeamViewer due to its detailed processes, I appreciate these from a security standpoint and once set up, it's very clean.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

It's a little harder to set up than TeamViewer because of all the processes, but I do appreciate that from a security standpoint.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RemotePC lets me access computers in the dental practice almost immediately, solving software errors and printer issues quickly. Customers love the fast problem resolution. It saves me time because I connect fast and fix things swiftly, and my customers appreciate it since time is money.

  ### 15. Full-featured, simple set-up remote access application for multiple/mixed platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akiva C. | Document Control Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It really couldn't be easier to set up. There's no need to configure port forwarding on a router or use dynamic DNS. You just install the software on your computer and connect to it from elsewhere. There are several layers of security, which is important to prevent unauthorized access from the internet. There are tons of great features like file access and command line access if you need quick access to files or to run a command without a full desktop session. The iDrive backup integration is a nice plus too.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The web client is lacking some options and optimizations compared to the desktop client or mobile/tablet app. This is to be expected, but it may be something to consider in evaluating, especially if you need access from another computer to which you don't have admin rights to install the desktop client.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I sometimes need access to my Mac at home while away at work, where I don't have access to WiFi. I have a cellular-enabled iPad, which I can use to connect to it remotely. I find this a great alternative to having to use my phone's hotspot/tethering because I don't have unlimited data for that purpose. Instead, I can use the built-in 5G on my iPad and still have essentially a fully functional Mac in front of me, even though it's actually on my desk back at home.

  ### 16. Fast, Easy Remote Access with Low Latency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex A. | Remote support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Is very fast and very easy to use.
Also you can connect to the remote machine before Windows login.
Low latency also.
It is just great!

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The "performance connection" is very fast while with the "classic connection" there is a lagg.
I don't mind because I always use "performance connection"

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me is the fact that it gives me the possibility to work on a more powerful computer remotely with no lagg.

  ### 17. Easy Setup, Even Easier to Use—A Real Time-Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It was easy to install and set up, and even easier to use. I also like that you can connect using either the web option or the client option.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Nothing negative so far; it’s been a real time-saver for me.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I’m at home, I use my home PC and setup a lot, and sometimes I forget to copy my work to my OneDrive. This lets me connect and download my work from home when I need it.

  ### 18. Unmatched Value and Features, Minor Connectivity Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curt H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

The value and features offered here are unmatched. I use this now daily for customer service. It was easy to use and explain to our customers how to make the connection.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Be sure to have a reliable internet connection, as there were moments when the app froze briefly before automatically reconnecting. While I appreciate that it was able to restore the connection on its own, it would have been preferable not to lose the connection in the first place.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to work remotely with ease and minimal worry. My work machine operates in unattended mode, so no matter where I am, as long as I have internet access, I can connect and stay productive. We also use this tool internally to provide support to our customers, and it has proven itself more than once to be reliable and capable of meeting our needs.

  ### 19. Affordable and Easy Remote Access, easy to use and Control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I like that RemotePC is much cheaper than TeamViewer and much easier to use. It's simple to use and not difficult for the other side to allow me connection. I also appreciate that it starts with Windows directly and I don't need to ask the other side to do too many things in order for me to connect.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

Sometimes, the control is not responsive. I can only drag the mouse over, but I cannot click or control something, and I need to reconnect.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC because it's much cheaper than TeamViewer and simpler to use, making it easier to connect to my computers or contacts abroad without making the other side do too much for connection.

  ### 20. Cost-Effective Solution with Seamless Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe J.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I really like that RemotePC is very cost-effective. It seems to work fine on all of my machines. I appreciate the fact that it's running at all times on select machines, allowing me to remote in without needing to speak to a user. Plus, the initial setup worked very well and I was able to install it on about nine computers that I manage with no issues at all.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I guess maybe it's a little slower than some of the other programs I've used, but it's more than fast enough for the things that I do.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RemotePC allows me to remotely connect to customers' computers to show them how to do things or fix software. It's cost-effective and works fine on all my machines. I value that it's running at all times, allowing remote access without user interaction.

  ### 21. Seamless, Affordable Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanth S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I use RemotePC to connect with my laboratory computer for my PhD work because it allows me to remotely access my computer at an affordable price. I like that it offers a seamless connection and is fast. It's valuable for me since every time I try to connect, it always connects within a few seconds with no significant lag, and the response time is good. The initial setup was also very straightforward and super easy. For this price, I'd rate it 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

There seems to be a bug. When using MATLAB on my lab's Ubuntu computer through my Windows laptop, sometimes the '<' character comes as '>'. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's annoying.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can remotely access my lab computer for PhD work at an affordable price. RemotePC provides a seamless, fast connection, with good response time and no significant lag.

  ### 22. RemotePC offers an easy, reliable, and secure remote access experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

Using RemotePC has been a really smooth and positive experience. It’s super easy to set up, and for what it costs, you definitely get great value. The attended access feature is especially handy — the preset message with instructions makes it simple for the other person to connect, and being able to send it by email or just copy it to the clipboard saves a lot of time.

The sessions themselves are stable and reliable, so you can help someone out without worrying about disconnects or weird issues. One of my favorite things is that you can connect through a web browser. That means you can access your remote computer from basically anywhere without installing anything. You just confirm you’re using a trusted device, which adds a nice touch of security.

And the logs are a big plus too. If anything unusual comes up, you can easily check what happened, when, and where. Overall, RemotePC is a simple, secure, and very practical tool for remote access.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

During my time using RemotePC, I haven’t had any issues worth mentioning.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access my personal PC remotely and also help other people solve problems on their computers.

  ### 23. Fast Setup, Excellent Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I appreciate how RemotePC allows me to access my desktop PC from remote locations, granting me the flexibility to work from anywhere. The setup process was straightforward, taking only a few minutes to run the installer on both a desktop PC and a laptop, which meant I could become productive quickly without spending a lot of time configuring the software. This ease of setup is crucial as it ensures I can get the software to work correctly without hassle. Overall, RemotePC has been reliable in providing access to my home PC no matter where I am, which I find incredibly valuable.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I encountered some performance issues with RemotePC, specifically screen updates lagging behind my mouse movements and keystrokes. Although it was not severe enough to prevent me from working, this lag can be disruptive, especially during tasks requiring real-time interaction.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC to access my desktop from any location, enhancing my productivity. Its easy setup saved time, though some performance issues like screen lag hinder functionality slightly.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I have not found anything I dislike so far. It has met all my expectations.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I provide support for members of my direct family who live in multiple states, so having the ability to assist them remotely is critical.

  ### 25. Unattended Access at a Great Price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary Z.

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I appreciate RemotePC's ability to provide unattended remote access to my brother's laptop at a reasonable price. This feature is incredibly valuable because it doesn't require him to be involved during access, unlike other remote applications where a code is needed to allow access to the remote destination. This ease of access makes it more convenient and efficient for me to assist him. Additionally, the initial setup of RemotePC was very easy, which added to the overall positive experience.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I find the file transfer feature lacking because it doesn't support file comparison, which is essential for ensuring that only the latest files are copied. This capability would streamline the process significantly. Additionally, the current implementation doesn't show the file transfer progress for each file, which would be beneficial to monitor the status and completion of transfers more effectively.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC for unattended remote control of my brother's laptop and seamless file transfer, making work collaboration efficient without needing his involvement.

  ### 26. Easy Setup, Feature-Rich, and Fairly Priced

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

It’s easy to set up and use, and it comes with a ton of features. Overall, the price feels pretty fair for what you get.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

The system limit feels restrictive, even though the number of users is unlimited. I would prefer the opposite setup: unlimited systems with a limited number of users.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I am an accountant and have one client who does not live near me. In order for me to efficiently review her QuickBooks desktop files, I need remote access software to make this happen. RemotePC is an easy to use and very affordable option for my situation. And the security features of RemotePC exceed the strict IRS guidelines that I must meet for the safety of my client's financial information. I have also used RemotePC to access my office computer from home. There is also a file transfer feature which is convenient for moving large files that cannot be emailed. The one time I have had to call customer support, the response was very quick, and the representative was professional and very helpful.

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I love that RemotePC is secure, quick, and easy to work with, which makes it a great product overall. The security features give me confidence when accessing client systems and my office remotely. The ease of use is particularly beneficial, allowing me to quickly set up and deploy RemotePC without any hassle. Additionally, I appreciate that RemotePC emulates the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (MS RDC) experience, making it straightforward for our tech team to transition and use effectively. The seamless integration with VPN products, both private and public like SonicWall VPN and Nord VPN, enhances its functionality and adds to its value. This integration makes our remote work seamless and efficient, solving the critical problem of needing reliable remote access and support for clients. The fact that we switched from TeamViewer to RemotePC, and are now very happy to recommend it, speaks volumes about how well it meets our needs.

**What do you dislike about RemotePC?**

I find that the licensing model only works to grow headcount, not to reduce it. For several clients, they increase and decrease their staff, and often find that they have over-licensed for a period.

**What problems is RemotePC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RemotePC for remote support and our own office access, saving time and reducing stress. It's secure, quick, and easy, allowing us to enhancing response times. It also has an option to emulate MS RDC, which is ideal for our tech team.

**What do you like best about RemotePC?**

I find RemotePC incredibly valuable for providing seamless remote access capabilities, which allow our employees to work from home without any hassle. The platform's ease of setup was impressive, with minimal issues during the initial configuration, which speaks to its user-friendly nature. RemotePC has addressed a critical bottleneck in our business by enabling remote access to our on-premises scheduling and billing systems, thus solving a major challenge we faced due to our non-cloud-based infrastructure. The ability to maintain continuous remote access without the need to log in each time is a standout feature that is hard to find in other remote access solutions, making it a crucial reason for our choice. Additionally, the excellent customer service, characterized by real people answering calls rather than automated systems, greatly enhances our support experience and is a vital aspect of what makes RemotePC exceptional for us.
