I like Plerdy’s heat maps. They show where visitors click, how far they scroll, and where they give up on a form. When I show clients a heat map of their own site, they’re impressed, and it opens up a better conversation about conversion. Plerdy is quick and easy to set up, and I can add the tracking code through Google Tag Manager as a single tag; it was working the same morning without installing anything on the website itself. The AI connector is a good addition too: I signed in through Plerdy without copying a token, and I like that access is read-only and the settings page clearly explains what the AI can see and what stays in Plerdy. Plerdy is my preferred heat map tool. It’s easy to show clients, affordable for us, and does everything we actually want. When I set it up manually, it was easy and I don’t remember any frustration; now AI does it for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My AI connector is capped at 10 requests a day on our plan, and one question can use several requests, so that runs out quickly. I expected to get more from our plan when we signed up, which was a little bit meh. Each website also has its own connector address. A site we added later didn’t show up on the sign-in screen, so we had to connect again using that site’s own address. A new site also defaulted to Central European time for reports, and the time zones are fixed offsets that don’t follow daylight saving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
