Navattic Reviews & Product Details

Navattic has improved in leaps and bounds over the last few months, and each iteration I'm loving all the more. Navattic being able to highlight and edit individual elements on a screen makes a technical writer's job way easier. User love Navattics too, they test really well. Being able to show users, not just describe in written steps, really is technical writing best practice, and a godsend for complex UIs. We use it for new user's onboarding processes as well, as we find it's by far the best way to teach new users. We're also obsessed with the AI features that are new in Navattic, such as being able to upload a style guide and get the instructions written in that tone of voice/style Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Absolutely none. We love Navattic. I would always recommend technical writers use Navattic for their multimedia needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super simple UI with plenty of branding options. It’s an easy way to capture and showcase product features. I update our flows quarterly, and the process is fast and painless. Customer support has also been great -- they’ve reviewed our flows and offered practical recommendations to make them better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main issue I’ve run into is that the gating is easy to bypass. We’d likely capture more leads if it weren’t so easy to skip past it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a tech writer, what I like best about Navattic is the HTML-based editing.

For example, if a button changes from blue to green or a field name changes from "Surname" to "Last Name," in the product I'm making a demo about, I’d have to retake every single screenshot or re-record a video. In Navattic, I just open the no-code editor, click the text or element, and type in the update. It updates the changes without me having to re-do the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As for my experience during the first times I was using Navattic, I struggled to find the HTML editor. At first I thought it was located or situated somewhere in the pages that aren't easy to find for such an amazing and helpful feature. I asked the help of a fellow tech writer who pinpoint me to the HTML editor and all's good since then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Navattic makes it incredibly easy to create interactive demos for our platform features. I love so many things about Navattic, but the best one would definitely be the ability to replace a single step by simply recapturing the affected screen. Gone are the days when we had to redo videos from start to finish every time our platform got an update or UI refresh. Just go back to the demo file on Navattic, recapture the affected screen, and publish - easy with no lags and long render times. We use these interactive demos in our help centre, and we have a lot of demos that we regularly maintain as well. So being able to quickly and easily update them enables us to serve our clients in the best way possible, while also saving us time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't really dislike anything about Navattic because it has improved our demo creation process a lot. But if we're going to nitpick, it can be difficult to find older demos when there are a lot of items in one folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to use. We have our Branded themes we can select from, our awesome CSM / Customer Support that provides us feedback, and it's easy to share the links out both internally and externally. We use this tool frequently to share updates across the org and customers since it's easier to consume a step by step interactive guide than a long support doc. It can be difficult to remember where certain features are. For example, if you accidentally get rid of the Back & Next button in your steps, it's hard to remember how to bring that back. I would prefer to use In-App Userflow style guides instead that guide the customer directly in their platform vs an example guide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Navattic for product adoption and implementation, and of course for general product demos.

Being able to create tailored experiences and walkthroughs of our product lets us build feature spotlights that would otherwise require much more overhead. It’s extremely easy to create these demos, and just as easy to share them.

Navattic also provides analytics that show our customers’ current interests. This helps our sales team take things even further, especially since it syncs with our CRM and makes it easy to understand who is seeing what.

We recently engaged in changing our plan to get access to their new feature, LaunchPad, which (after testing other similar products) puts them at the forefront of innovation in how to share demos and knowledge easily for any client. They onboarded us onto it very patiently.

I also want to highlight that their Support team consistently provide fast, helpful guidance and genuinely seem invested in our success.

This is the way! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd like to have a set of available pre made objects for highlight, such as a blinking arrow or and dynamic underline line that we could use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Navattic to build interactive demos and training resources, which are excellent for showcasing our tool and training our customers. I love how easy it is to use, which saves me time and allows me to focus on other projects. The tool looks great, enhancing the quality of what we present to prospects and customers. Plus, everyone I worked with during the onboarding process was very helpful, making the setup very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've run into some minor issues with certain elements of our platform not being recognized in the Navattic builder, which gives us trouble implementing certain triggers and things like that. I haven't reached out to support yet about this, so it may be an easy fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Navattic is how quickly we can go from idea to live interactive demo without involving engineering. The Chrome extension captures our product as HTML rather than video, so the demos look and feel like the real app, and we can edit text, blur sensitive data, and swap in personalized details without recapturing anything.

The builder is intuitive. I built our first tour in [about an afternoon], and now our [marketing/sales/CS] team maintains [number] demos on our own. Embedding tours on our website and in [emails/landing pages/sales follow-ups] is straightforward, and the analytics show which steps people engage with and where they drop off. The [HubSpot/Salesforce] integration lets us tie demo activity to real leads, which has been really useful for [prioritizing outreach/showing marketing's impact on pipeline].

The Navattic support team also deserves a mention. They're responsive and genuinely helpful, whether it's a technical question or advice on demo best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much I dislike, but a few things could be better. Capturing highly dynamic parts of our app, like [complex dropdowns/charts/embedded iframes], sometimes takes a few attempts or some manual cleanup in the editor before it looks right. When our product UI changes, we also have to recapture screens to keep demos current, which gets time-consuming as our library grows.

Some of the more advanced features, such as [conditional branching/custom styling/demo center setup], have a learning curve compared to the basic builder, though the help docs and support team fill the gap. I'd also like to see more flexibility in reporting, for example [custom dashboards/easier data exports/more granular account-level insights]. Finally, pricing on the higher tiers can be a stretch for smaller teams, though the value has been worth it for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Navattic platform is logically arranged and easy to learn. The user guides are clear and include really helpful videos. On top of that, the staff is very responsive whenever I have questions about using specific features. One of my favorite things about Navattic is that they keep adding new features and functions to the platform.

I recently created a demo video for a mobile solution, and it was a very easy process to place screenshots into a mobile device frame for a polished, finished look. Similar to desktop application demo videos, we can adjust colors to match our brand palette, add logos, customize screens, and more. I’m looking forward to trying the new voice narration feature in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a tough one, because I really like the platform overall. One area that could be improved is the font adjustments on video modals (pop-up windows). At times, it can be a bit tricky to get the font to the exact size I want. That said, it’s a relatively minor nit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Navattic is a powerful tool that helps our Sales Engineering team, our business peers, Marketing, and many others across the organization build, share, and showcase our products. It supports increased adoption and helps attract buyers, while still keeping things simple thanks to its super-friendly UI.

The tool seamlessly integrates with our cloud-based solutions. Capturing their essence is fairly easy. It's fast, easy to use, and manageable with low effort, even for complete newcomers. Moreover, whenever I'm lost, Navattic's Copilot AI is there to help!

After a call with Navattic's CSM, I realized the tool's potential is much bigger than we thought, and it delivers great ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After creating multiple guided walkthroughs, the demo repository has started to feel a bit cluttered. Still, with the right approach, it should be easy to clean things up by sorting the demos into separate workspaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
