## Missive Reviews
  ### 1. Managing Patient Follow Ups and Clinic Communication Became More Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media and patient awareness. What I like best about Missive is that it helps me keep all my communication and daily work organized in one place without making things complicated. In my daily work, I handle patient follow-ups, online consultation queries, diet plan discussions, appointment reminders, and health content planning. Missive makes this easier because emails, tasks, notes, and conversations stay properly organized together, so I do not need to switch between multiple apps again and again.

The interface is clean and very easy to use, so getting started did not take much time. I use it regularly for managing follow up tasks, pending replies, and daily clinic communication. Features like task management, shared inbox, reminders, conversation tracking, and internal notes are genuinely useful for my type of work and feel connected to real workflow instead of extra unnecessary features.

I also like that related conversations stay together, which helps me quickly check previous patient discussions or content related communication without confusion. Performance is also smooth for daily work. Even while handling multiple conversations, follow-ups, and tasks together, the platform feels stable and easy to manage during busy clinic hours. Overall, Missive helps me manage clinic communication, patient coordination, and health education related work in a more organized, clear, and professional way.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I do not have many major issues with Missive, but sometimes when there are too many active conversations and tasks together, finding older discussions can take a little extra time. A few settings and workflow options also need some initial adjustment based on personal work style. Other than that, it fits well into my daily clinic communication and follow-up routine.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me solve the problem of scattered communication and follow up management in my daily work. Earlier, patient emails, consultation reminders, pending replies, and small workflow tasks were spread across different places, which sometimes made tracking difficult during busy clinic hours.

Now I can manage conversations, follow-up tasks, reminders, and notes together in one place. This helps me respond faster, keep patient communication organized, and avoid missing important follow-ups. It also helps in my health education and content work because I can keep communication and planning related to awareness content more structured and easy to manage.

I also spend less time checking different email threads or apps again and again during consultations. Everything feels more organized, which makes daily clinic work smoother and easier to handle. Overall, it saves time, improves communication, and helps me manage patient coordination and content-related workflow in a more practical and professional way.

  ### 2. Helpful for managing asset acquisition communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RAGHAV M. | Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Managing fixed assets means I'm constantly coordinating with purchasing, ops, and vendors about buying equipment, getting rid of old stuff, or moving things around. Having all those conversations in one centralized spot makes tracking everything way easier. Plus when I'm out, my backup can jump in and answer vendor questions about asset paperwork without hunting me down first.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would save a ton of time if it connected directly to our asset management system - right now I'm manually matching up asset tags between the two platforms. I also wish the file handling was more visual, especially when dealing with equipment photos and supporting docs.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset conversations used to be all over the place - purchasing had their emails, ops had theirs, vendors were in someone else's inbox. Made it basically impossible to keep proper records for each piece of equipment, which became a real headache during audits and physical counts. Now everything's in one searchable place with proper threading, so we can actually find what we need when auditors come knocking.

  ### 3. Breaks down team communication barriers effectively

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek P. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Collaborating live is probably the biggest selling point. When a complicated customer problem lands, I can pull our tech folks into the conversation using private comments right there in the thread. Saves all the back-and-forth forwarding and nothing gets lost in translation. The automated routing that sends different request types to the right people is also really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Getting comfortable with the more advanced features takes longer than using regular email. It took us a few weeks before everyone was consistently using all the collaboration tools the way they’re meant to be used.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big issue we had was everyone working in their own bubble - sales knew stuff that support didn't and the other way around. Now we've got visibility across the whole customer relationship. When anybody asks about their account, I can pull up every conversation we've ever had with them immediately.

  ### 4. We moved from Spark to Missive as we found it way more productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aryan S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive is a lot better than other mails like the normal ones like Outlook. We also tried Spark mail, but Missive collaboration feature, it's really one of the best out there. So what we really like about it is that you can collaborate by using a ton of features and shortcuts so that it makes the day a lot more productive. Customer support is really top, they take their time to explain you how it works and show you, and they also reply to mails very quickly, so they are great.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The pricing is a little bit high for Missif but that's because I'm based in Italy and of course it's a little bit expensive. But other than that I don't have any complaints.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

is solving messy mail and collaboration problem. So basically it allows you to automate stuff, so that's really great for our use case where we really need to organize emails and tasks and be able also to collaborate with our teammates.

  ### 5. Modern, Collaborative Email Management for High-Volume Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoro K. | Director of I.T., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Coming from the Microsoft/Outlook world, Missive feels much more collaborative, especially for shared inbox environments. It makes it easy to organize and distribute emails without constantly forwarding messages or creating multiple copies across different mailboxes.

The ability to assign emails, link related conversations together, and move seamlessly between threads has been extremely helpful. If one conversation is relevant to another, we can easily connect them and follow the full trail without losing context. The SLA functionality is another strong feature, helping ensure critical mailboxes are handled within the expected timeframes.

The rules and automation features are also very powerful and have allowed us to rethink how we process emails, saving time and improving consistency.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

In the past, the search function wasn’t as strong as we would have liked, especially when trying to locate older or very specific messages. However, this is an area they’ve been actively improving, and we’ve seen noticeable progress over time.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deal with a large volume of shared emails across multiple stakeholders and departments. Before Missive, managing distribution and maintaining visibility without duplicating emails was challenging.

Missive allows us to properly organize, assign, and track emails without forwarding chains or creating redundant copies. This improves accountability, reduces confusion, and keeps communication centralized. The ability to link conversations and apply SLAs ensures that important requests don’t fall through the cracks and that our team stays aligned on priorities.

Overall, it has helped us streamline collaboration, improve response times, and maintain better oversight of shared communication.

  ### 6. Streamlines month-end close communications effectively

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sohan S. | Assistant Team Lead at Finovate Consultant Pvt Ltd, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Month-end close is always intense, and Missive helps our team coordinate the flood of reconciliation questions, adjustment approvals, and deadline communications. The shared inbox means everyone can see outstanding items that need resolution before we can close the books. conversation stays with the relevant email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The attachment organization could be improved when dealing with multiple supporting documents for complex journal entries.
A few things to consider in your review:
Number of Features, Ease of Integration, Ease of Use, Ease of Integration

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now we close three days faster on average because nothing gets lost and team members can help each other when bottlenecks arise. The visibility lets our controller identify problems early rather than discovering them at the last minute. The collaboration features mean fewer errors in financial statements because we're reviewing each other's work naturally.

  ### 7. Amazing Team Chat and Email Notes That Keep Us in Sync

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive helps our office to communicate as a team. The chat is amazing! That is my favourite bit. We can put notes on emails and use like a mini CRM.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

My only negative is that we cannot access other people's inboxes without having them as part of our own. We do not need access day to day, so we have a rule that tags another person in an email when the out of office is set. It is not ideal, but it works just fine for now. It would be great to somehow allow this.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive is bringing together multiple software products we were using before. The responses replace our text expander but go further. The rules replace time forwarding or deleting emails that saves time. Having ChatGPT built in is great too as it saves us going between different software.

  ### 8. Efficient Team Communication and Email Management with Missive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eveliina H. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like using Missive for team communication and email management, as it helps us keep track of who is handling what. The unified inbox is great because it allows us to handle our own emails, shared inboxes, and assignments all at the same time. This feature saves us countless hours and helps keep our customers happy. Transitioning from Front to Missive was beneficial as it's more streamlined and three times more affordable. The setup was easier than I anticipated, with the Missive support team being very helpful throughout the operation.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

There is honestly very little to dislike. A direct Slack integration would be great.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us with team communication and email management, solving issues of losing track of responsibilities. The unified inbox allows us to handle personal emails, shared inboxes, and assignments at the same time, saving countless hours and keeping customers happy.

  ### 9. Close week is actually manageable nowThreaded Team Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai Prakash R. | Assistant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Close period hits hard every month and Missive keeps our team from drowning in it. Whether
it's reconciliation questions, approval requests, or just tracking what still needs to get done
before we can wrap up, everything's visible to the whole team in one place. Really like that all the discussion stays tied to the actual email it relates to instead of floating around
separately.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

When you're dealing with journal entries that need a bunch of backup documents, keeping
all those attachments organized gets a bit unwieldy.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're legitimately closing three days earlier than we used to. Nothing disappears into someone's
inbox anymore and when one person gets stuck, others can step in without wasting time catching
up. Our controller catches problems while there's still time to fix them instead of right before the
deadline. And honestly just having everyone naturally look over each other's work has cut down
on the errors that used to sneak into our financials.

  ### 10. Team Inboxes and Embedded Comments Make Collaboration Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | Business Development Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like the team inboxes and comments embedded with messages.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Some of the backend admin setup is more challenging than it needs to be.

Comment filtering and options are not as robust as they could be. Most relevant example is that comments to a team (rather than an individual) go to ALL team members’ inboxes like a broadcast. Admins should have the option to choose how this functions and decide whether the comments go to the Team Inbox instead of All Team Members’ inboxes. This follows the philosophy of Team Inboxes helping to centralize work by allowing comments to be centralized as well. We’ve worked around it with a creative label/archiving rule, but it’s not ideal.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal collaboration, accountability, visibility, productivity data.

  ### 11. The perfect solution for freelancers, SME's, and larger organizational teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max B. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I absolutely love Missive. I have been using it quite some time now, since they were just in the start-up phase. For private mail accounts it provides all tools you need (for free, mostly). Lots of functionality and lots of integrations: from Todoist (or similar) to openAI or API access.

Also an absolute must for teams: affordable plans for a very broad package of team functionality: delegating conversations, tagging each other, discussing conversations, managed signatures, managed responses (templates), and shared inboxes.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

So far there is not much I do not like about Missive. I think it is a responsive web-app across the different platforms (instead of a dedicated app), but that's something you barely notice while using it. It makes the experience solid, stable, and uniform across all platforms.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been doubting recently between Spark en Missive, but given Missive's extra and stable functionality over Spark combined with its reasonable pricing it is an absolute no brainer for me to choose Missive.

Over the last few years it has been working perfectly on both my MacBook and iPhone. Also love the automations (workflow) through rules and conditions.

  ### 12. All our communication channels finally in one spot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** insaram s. | Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Having everything consolidated is the game changer. Used to be jumping between separate email accounts for general questions, HR matters, and facilities issues all day long. Now it's all unified. Being able to hand off threads and see where they stand ensures stuff doesn't slip through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Saving attachments could be smoother - when there are multiple files I want to download, having to grab them one by one gets tedious.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accountability was a mess before - things would just sit there unanswered because everybody figured somebody else had it covered. The assignment feature eliminated that problem entirely. Now I know what's waiting, who owns it, and what requires my focus. Being more transparent has made us look more professional to vendors and cut our response times down noticeably.

  ### 13. Missive is central to how we run shared inboxes and maintain client trust

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clevon N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive has become an essential tool for how our team manages communication. We depend greatly on shared inboxes, and Missive streamlines collaboration while maintaining both context and consistency. Features like internal comments, shared visibility, and clear ownership help ensure that everyone stays informed about the status of any conversation at all times.

From the client’s point of view, the process is straightforward and professional. Clients only need to remember one or two email addresses, while our team can handle messages together behind the scenes. This reduces friction for clients and allows us to maintain a unified, consistent voice, no matter who is replying.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

For quite some time, we found search to be a real challenge. Locating older conversations or particular messages was not as straightforward as we would have preferred, especially given the large volume of emails we handle. However, search functionality has definitely improved over time, and it is now far more user-friendly than it used to be.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive addresses the challenge of maintaining business continuity in team communication. With this tool, messages no longer remain trapped in individual inboxes, eliminating the risk of important conversations being overlooked when someone is absent or handing over responsibilities. Any team member can seamlessly pick up a conversation thread, access the full context, and respond with confidence, ensuring ongoing progress.

As a result, our response times have improved, duplication of effort has decreased, and internal collaboration has become much more efficient. Most importantly, Missive enables us to provide our clients with a consistent and reliable communication experience, which in turn fosters trust and professionalism.

  ### 14. Handles our heavy invoice volume without breaking a sweat communication Smooth and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sushil P. | Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

We're pushing through hundreds of vendor invoices every week and Missive keeps the communication side from becoming a nightmare. Anyone on the AP team can jump in and respond to vendor payment questions without digging through their colleagues' private emails. The routing system is great too - anything that needs special sign-off or has a discrepancy automatically lands with the right person.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The phone app gets the basics done but some approval actions still need desktop access which is frustrating on the go. Also wish you could take action on a bunch of invoices from the same vendor all at once instead of one by one.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor emails used to be all over the place across individual inboxes - caused duplicate payments, cost us early payment discounts, and left vendors frustrated when they got different answers from different people. Having everything visible to the whole team in one place fixed all of that. There's now a single reliable record of every vendor conversation we've had.

  ### 15. Makes cost accounting coordination way easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parul M. | Assistant Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Cost accounting means constantly chatting with operations, purchasing, and engineering
about material costs, labor rates, and overhead splits. Missive puts all these
cross-department conversations in one spot so our small cost accounting team stays
aligned. Being able to pull in experts using private notes without cluttering the actual email is
super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would be way better if it connected better to our ERP system's cost modules - right now
we're manually cross-checking between systems.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our cost calculations are more accurate now because we're tapping everyone's expertise instead
of working in silos. We're getting back to operations with costing answers much quicker, which
helps when they need to price stuff or respond to bids fast.

  ### 16. Helpful for managing asset acquisition communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roshan S. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Fixed asset accounting involves coordinating with purchasing, operations, and vendors about equipment acquisitions, disposals, and transfers. Missive centralizes these cross-functional conversations so I can track asset-related communications efficiently. The shared inbox means my backup can handle vendor questions about asset documentation when I'm unavailable.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Integration with our fixed asset management system would eliminate the need to manually cross-reference asset tags between platforms. The file organization could be more visual when dealing with asset photos and documentation.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Missive, asset-related communications were scattered across departments and email accounts, making it nearly impossible to maintain complete documentation for each asset. This created problems during audits and asset verification procedures. Missive solved this by centralizing all asset communications in searchable, well-organized threads.

  ### 17. Missive Supercharges Team Collaboration and Streamlines Email Triage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam L. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive helps us supercharge collaboration across a large team while also making it easier to triage our emails. Email is our primary mode of communication, so streamlining that workflow as much as possible has been a huge win for our business.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

It’s a product that’s constantly evolving and improving, and most of the changes tend to make the overall experience better. That said, the out-of-office feature still needs work and could be more polished.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Triaging our emails and collaborating across multiple team members helps us respond to clients quickly and effectively, keeping our response rate at an elite level.

  ### 18. Simple, Lightweight Collaboration That Keeps Support Running Smoothly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gunther B. | multipurpose employer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The biggest advantage for us is the balance between simplicity and powerful collaboration features. It feels lightweight, but still gives our team everything we need to manage support efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Sometimes notification management can become a bit overwhelming when working with many shared inboxes and active conversations.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps our customer service team manage a high volume of emails in a much more organized way. Assignments, internal comments and shared drafts reduce mistakes and improve teamwork.

  ### 19. Helpful for team email visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nayan J. | Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Having email and team chat in the same place saves me time compared to constantly switching between tools. I mostly use it on desktop, but the mobile app also works well for quick checks when I’m away. Internal comments are especially useful for adding context or handing things off to teammates without cluttering up the main email thread.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Initial setup can take a bit of time, especially if you want your rules and notifications dialed in properly from the start. Until everyone has adjusted their settings, the notifications can also feel overwhelming and a little noisy.

In my experience, it’s worth keeping the number of features, ease of integration, and overall ease of use in mind when writing your review, since those areas can influence how smooth the setup feels and how manageable notifications are day to day.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to struggle with shared inbox emails being missed or answered twice. After moving to Missive, conversations are easier to track and ownership is much clearer. That reduced internal follow-ups and confusion almost immediately. We spend less time figuring out status and more time actually responding.

  ### 20. Missive Unifies Shared Inboxes, Team Chat, and Email Collaboration Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

What I like most about Missive is how efficiently it combines shared inboxes, internal team chat and email collaboration in one clean interface.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

There are so many features available that it can take some time for new team members to fully understand the workflow and collaboration options.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us centralize customer communication across multiple inboxes and team members. It improves response times and prevents duplicate replies, which makes our support workflow much more efficient.

  ### 21. Perfect for managing multiple client accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muskan Q. | US Accounts Executive , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Setting up separate inboxes for each client account works really well. Makes it easy to switch between clients and instantly see where things stand and what's been discussed. The @mention feature for looping in our tech people or billing folks right in the thread has sped up our responses big time.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

When a bunch of us are working on the same draft email, figuring out who changed what can get messy. The comment feature helps, but it's not perfect.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest problem was constantly jumping between client accounts and losing the thread on conversations, especially when teammates were out. Now everything's in one searchable system that the whole account team can access, so we've got the complete client communication record right there.

  ### 22. Missive Makes Email Collaboration Fast, Clear, and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn G. | Multipurpose employee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive makes team communication around emails extremely easy. The internal comments and assignment system help us handle customer conversations much faster and more clearly.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The mobile experience is good overall, but some advanced collaboration features feel more comfortable to use on desktop.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Missive, internal communication around customer emails was fragmented. Missive solved this by combining email collaboration and team chat in one place, making coordination much smoother.

  ### 23. Clear visuals and great task feature

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ju H. | Student Support Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like Missive's visual layout - I think it's very clear and appealing. One of the features I’ve found most useful is the task function - being able to assign tasks and be assigned tasks has made a big difference to how I manage my workload. This is a great improvement compared to the previous email software I used, and it has integrated seamlessly into my everyday work.

The recent addition of the Sent view has also been really helpful in keeping my own emails separate and easy to track, though I think there’s still room for improvement with that function.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Lately, the Sent feature has not been functioning as expected and no longer separates my personal sent messages from All Sent, which can be quite confusing.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solves the problem of having emails, tasks, and internal communication spread across multiple platforms. In my role, I primarily work within shared inboxes, responding to customer queries and managing follow-ups. Being able to link tasks directly to emails, as well as track wider team tasks within the same system, has created a centralised hub for my work. This has benefited me greatly, as it reduces the need to switch between different tools, keeps communication and accountability in one place. My workflow has since become more efficient!

  ### 24. Missive Makes Email Collaboration and Onboarding a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive is the solution to a problem we've had for a long time. Email collaboration, onboarding new staff who need access to multiple inboxes, automated rules, signatures, group chat, etc. It's made internal communication, email handoff, and overall collaboration a breeze. Their customer support is very fast and responsive, A+. Big fan!

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I wish it had a feature to video chat with team members

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email handoff to internal staff, email signatures, rules/automations

  ### 25. Excellent communication tool for growing teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franz E. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive is incredibly intuitive and easy to set up. We were fully productive within a very short time. The interface is clean and well-designed, making it easy for the whole team to collaborate efficiently. Support is fast and helpful, and new useful features are released regularly.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

There is very little to complain about. Some advanced features take a bit of time to fully explore, but this is more about the richness of the tool than a real downside.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using Missive for several months now and are extremely satisfied. It has significantly improved our internal and external communication. Everything feels reliable, stable, and well thought out. It’s one of those tools that just works and keeps getting better over time.

  ### 26. Solid solution for accounting team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiran P. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I really value the email assignment system during busy periods like quarterly closes - our
controller can distribute workload evenly and track who's handling which vendor inquiry. The
snooze feature is brilliant for following up on outstanding invoices or payments - I can set
reminders for exactly when I need to chase something without cluttering my inbox.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I wish there were better automation for recurring tasks, like monthly statement requests or
quarterly tax document collection. The tagging system works but could be more
sophisticated for categorizing by GL account codes or expense categories that accountants
actually use.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest headache was lack of visibility into who communicated what to vendors and clients.
This led to duplicate payments, missed early payment discounts, and embarrassing situations
where two people gave contradictory information about the same invoice. Missive solved this
completely - now our entire team sees the same information in real-time. When someone's out
sick during month-end close, anyone can pick up their vendor communications without missing a
 beat.

  ### 27. Seamless Team Collaboration Across Multiple Inboxes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Think Tanks | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

being able to collaborate on multiple inboxes with the team

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

the delays when I open calendar in a new menu, calendar functionality overall is slow. Biggest issue is if I have multiple events at the same time some do not show, this is a big issue as I have missed things. The improvement to drag events has been good but the ability to color code per event and have the option to show/hide weekends would really help.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

collaborating on emails with the team and saving me time as the can draft for me. I use this as a tool with my EA

  ### 28. Team email visibility that works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishabh G. | Insurance Broker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Combining email and messaging in one tool saves a lot of time. It's part of how we work now. Keeping everything in one place removes a lot of the usual confusion. Use it all day long. The assignment feature is really helpful during shift handoffs - nothing gets lost.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Setting it up right takes more work than you'd expect at first. Notifications are pretty loud until you adjust them.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have separate personal inboxes and couldn't see what others were doing. Now everything's in one shared view. That's reduced dropped emails and made people more accountable. Team coordination runs smoother. Conversations staying in one place means fewer mistakes and less checking back and forth. Whole operation moves faster.

  ### 29. In-Thread Team Chats and Powerful Integrations That Keep Us Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

In-thread private chats with the team—super useful to align internally as conversations develop. The ClickUp, Claude, and Shopify integrations really help, as well.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

For our team's use case, the robustness of the app works very well for the few of us who rely on it. That said, for folks who are used to the simplified UI of a Gmail inbox, for example, Missive looks like more trouble than it's worth. So, for those folks, we just don't give 'em a seat!

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lots of inboxes, lots of emails, lots of tasks, lots and lots and lots of moving parts. Missive helps us tame the machine and streamline our workflows.

  ### 30. Perfect for managing high-volume invoice processing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav G. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Our AP team handles hundreds of vendor invoices every week, and Missive keeps the email side organized. The shared inbox means anyone on the team can answer vendor questions about payment status without searching through other people's emails. I love the assignment system - invoices that need special approvals or have problems automatically go to the right person

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The phone app works but I wish I could approve certain things from my phone that currently need desktop access. Bulk actions would help when dealing with multiple invoices from the same vendor

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Missive, vendor emails were spread across team members' personal inboxes, causing duplicate payments, missed early payment discounts, and frustrated vendors getting different information. The shared visibility fixed all of that. Now we have one reliable place for all vendor emails.

  ### 31. Good solution for Collaborative Inbox management & Team chats

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish T. | Team Leader - Corporate Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Missive makes it easier to manage shared inboxes without overlap. The ability to assign emails and add internal comments helps the team stay aligned and avoid duplicate replies.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Some features are not very intuitive initially, and it takes time to properly set up workflows. The reporting side could also be stronger.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of unclear ownership in shared inboxes and helps us respond faster while keeping communication organized.

  ### 32. Effortless Team Adoption and Enhanced Client Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent P. | CCO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

What I appreciate the most is how easy it was for the whole team to adopt, we’re faster, more consistent, and more aligned in how we communicate with clients.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Missive doesn’t yet support email sequences, which would be a game-changer for account management and sourcing. It’s the one feature keeping me from fully replacing our CRM. Hopefully it’s on the roadmap!

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps us centralize and streamline all our partner (client) communication. Instead of juggling multiple inboxes or tools, our team can now collaborate smoothly, respond faster, and stay aligned, with almost no training needed. The GPT integration is a huge plus too: we work with clients around the world, switching languages constantly, and this feature saves us time while improving the quality of our messages.

Overall, it’s made our communication more efficient, more consistent, and more professional, I honestly don’t know how we managed before.

  ### 33. Great support and email management tool for team/org shared inbox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward B. | Tech Stack Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like using Missive because it helps our team keep all our emails in one shared inbox. Everyone can see messages, assign a colleague to take care of an email, and reply from a single email address, which makes work faster. They usually update the system from time to time with new features to make it better. Their support team is great at clarifying questions/inquiries and providing tailor fit answers. Our transition from Gmail to Missive was easy even for those that are not super tech-savvy people.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I still have a few email feature related questions that aren't there yet but are possible with CRMs and a few limitations with integrations through Zapier without using webhooks.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive helps solve the problem of managing lots of emails in a team. Before, it was hard to keep track of who replied to what or to make sure everyone saw the same messages. With Missive, all emails go into one shared inbox so the whole team can see them and reply together. This saves time, stops messages from getting lost, and makes sure our clients get their answers faster. It also helps us work more efficiently and organized because we don't have to switch between different tools. The regular system updates and their support team make it even easier to use and improve how we work.

  ### 34. Asset communication tracking actually works now.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akansha G. | Senior Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Fixed asset work means endless coordination with purchasing, operations, and vendors on equipment purchases, disposals, and transfers. Centralizing all those discussions in one spot makes keeping tabs on everything significantly easier. When I'm unavailable, my backup can handle vendor questions about asset documentation without tracking me down.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would be huge if it linked directly to our asset management platform - currently matching asset tags manually between systems. File management could also be more visual-friendly, particularly for equipment photos and related documentation.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset-related emails were previously scattered everywhere - purchasing's inbox, operations' threads, vendor correspondence floating in random places. Keeping comprehensive records for individual equipment pieces was nearly impossible, creating major problems during audits and physical verification. Now everything lives in one searchable location with proper conversation threading, so pulling up documentation for auditors is straightforward.

  ### 35. Missive Keeps Team Communication Organized in One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivani A. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I like how Missive keeps all team communication in one place. The shared inbox, internal notes, and assignment features make it easy to stay on top of conversations without confusion.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

It takes a bit of time for new users to get comfortable, and some advanced features are not very intuitive at first.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us avoid duplicate replies, improves ownership of emails, and keeps everything organized, which saves time and reduces errors.

  ### 36. Canex Global Logistics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diane E. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Overall, Missive has improved visibility, collaboration, and response time across our email workflows. It is a reliable system for teams that want more control and clarity in managing communication.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

It would be helpful if tasks could include a scheduled appointment time, with the option to either trigger a pop up reminder or automatically return to the inbox at the set time. This would make follow ups more flexible and easier to manage without relying on external calendar tools or snoozing the email as well.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear ownership and accountability for emails and tasks within our shared inboxes, ensuring nothing is overlooked and responsibilities are always defined.

  ### 37. Useful for coordinating product costing inquiries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinay Y. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Cost accounting involves constant communication with operations, purchasing, and engineering about material costs, labor rates, and overhead allocations. Missive centralizes these cross-functional conversations so our small cost accounting team stays aligned. The ability to loop in subject matter experts using internal comments without cluttering the external message is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Would benefit from better integration with our ERP system's cost modules - currently we manually reference between systems.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our costing accuracy has improved because we're leveraging collective expertise rather than working in isolation. Response times to operations' costing questions have shortened significantly, which helps with pricing decisions and bid responses

  ### 38. Incredibly helpful and functional tool in the workplace!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I love being able to merge messages or conversations, being able to make comments on anything that comes through the inbox for easy communication within the team, and how seamlessly it allows us to integrate other applications to make our jobs that much easier!
The functionality is unmatched.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Nothing I can think of off the top of my head!

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solves the problem of having a massive dumping ground (and sometimes, graveyard) of communications in the inbox(es)--having a shared team inbox as well as personal inboxes, and the ability to label and tag things to fit our needs, tremendously benefits me and my team's ability to take care of our clients and keep track of all of our voicemails, texts, and emails without wondering if something got lost or buried. It's also allows me to create conversations for projects or upcoming events for collaborative planning, delegating tasks, and staying up-to-date.

  ### 39. Missive made adding an assistant easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I've been thrilled with Missive, since I started using it for my small business a few months ago. I was nervous that it would be too difficult and complicated but the opposite is true. It's extremely intuitive and easy to figure out.

Missive has all the functionality I need to bring an assistant on board. One of my favorite features is how I can save template responses and quickly pull them into an email with a hashtag and the title. It saves me so much time. I also use something they call Labels, which are like folders and very useful for keeping my inbox tidy.

Plus, the customer support is fantastic, which is incredibly reassuring.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I haven't found much yet that isn't helpful. I came across a small bug recently where emails were coming into my inbox in duplicate but the customer support team fixed that very quickly.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive solved my issue of how to bring an assistant on board after doing all my own admin for many years.

  ### 40. Project communication finally makes sense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan C. | Junior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Having all project emails centralized in one organized system changes everything. I can hop between projects, turn emails into tasks right there, and keep our internal chat separate from what clients see.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Needs more integrations - some of our daily tools don't connect natively yet. Also, the sidebar gets messy when you're managing tons of shared inboxes.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of Use, Number of Features, Ease of Integration

  ### 41. One Platform to Manage Emails Across Multiple Organization Accounts with integrated other apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitendar k. | Accountant, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

It helps me manage all emails from multiple organization accounts in one platform.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Sometimes I mistakenly click an email and it gets marked as read. Because of this, it disappears from our review list and we miss it. We need an audit history section so we can re-check these actions and review the available options.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage all my emails from multiple sources on one platform, and it also makes it easy to tag them to the right assignee and access them quickly.

  ### 42. Support team works way better together now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himani K. | Brand Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Email threads with built-in team messaging work great. We talk through plans, write replies together, and keep everything in one spot without making the email messy. It's basically like Slack inside your email, but better because the chat stays connected to each email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Reports need more details. I want better data on how fast we reply, how the team is doing, and customer patterns. Right now the reports are pretty simple.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had total email confusion - different people replying to the same customer, no idea who was doing what, and discussions about emails happening in multiple places. Missive put everything in one place. Now we can see everything clearly, people are accountable, and customers get quicker and more consistent answers.

  ### 43. Flexible Shared Mailboxes with Easy Rule Imports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to import rules and quickly reconfigure shared mailboxes, if needed, is very helpful. I already used Front before for sharing, but Missive is more flexible for my use case.

Customer support has been quick and helpful.

The pricing scheme is way better for my team of 11 people than others offered. Others required a huge price jump per account from 10 to 11.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Keeping track of which Inbox vs Team Inbox can be a steep learning curve.

The Calendar feature is no where near the Calendar in Front.

Both Front and Missive suffer from the lack of ability to use Google for mail but use Teams as your default meeting option.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shared inboxes and automated rule delegation. We are still trying to move our entire customer support operation to Notion, but Missive gets us closer to the needed use case than Front (not that Front is bad).

  ### 44. Effective for organizing product costing discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YUDHVEER S. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The ability to involve subject matter experts through private comments—without cluttering the main email thread—is extremely valuable. It keeps communication clean while enabling effective collaboration. I also appreciate having all cost-related discussions centralized in one place rather than scattered across multiple departmental inboxes. Additionally, file sharing works well for distributing costing spreadsheets and supporting documents.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Attachment handling could be improved, particularly when working with large Excel files that contain multiple costing scenarios.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Missive has improved our costing accuracy by enabling collaborative input rather than isolated work. It allows us to respond more quickly to operational costing inquiries, which supports better pricing decisions and faster turnaround on bids.

  ### 45. Missive Transformed Our Teamwork, But Search Needs Major Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo A. | Finance Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Honestly, Missive is just really practical. Our team was a mess before, and now it's not.

The main thing is that our shared inboxes (support@, info@, etc.) aren't confusing anymore. Before, we'd all be in there, and we had no idea who was replying to what.

Now, it's simple:

Chat in the email: If I'm not sure about a reply, I just @ my boss in a chat panel on the side of the email. We figure it out, and I send the reply. No forwards, no separate Slack messages. It’s all just attached to the one conversation.

Assigning tasks is obvious: A new email comes in. My boss assigns it to me. It's mine. Everyone else on the team can see it's mine, so they don't touch it. It’s impossible to have two people reply to the same customer.

It cleans up my day: I use "snooze" all the time. If I can't deal with something until tomorrow, I hit snooze, and it just comes back tomorrow. My inbox stays clean, and I don't forget. I also use their templates for common questions, which saves me a ton of time.

That's basically it. It just took our messy, shared email problems and made them simple. It works.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

But the search... it's a nightmare.

Seriously, trying to find a specific past email is awful. If you don't know the exact subject line or person, good luck. It's clunky, slow, and I often just give up and go find the email in my old Gmail account, which completely defeats the purpose.

So, for managing what's happening right now, it's great. For finding anything that happened more than a week ago? It's genuinely terrible. We just live with it because the day-to-day collaboration is so much better.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main good things are the team features. Assigning tasks is obvious: an email comes in, my boss assigns it to me, and it's mine. Everyone knows I'm on it. The chat inside the email is great, too. I just @ my boss, we figure out a reply, and it's done. And I use "snooze" all the time to keep my inbox clean.

  ### 46. Excellent for breaking down information silos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prabha B. | Senior Financial Analyst, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The real-time collaboration is what stands out most. When a tricky customer issue comes in, I can loop in technical team members right in the email thread with internal comments. No more forwarding back and forth or losing context. The rules automation also helps route different types of requests to the right people automatically.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The learning curve for advanced features is steeper than basic email. It took our team a couple weeks to really leverage all the collaboration features effectively.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest problem was information silos - sales would have context that support didn't, or vice versa. Missive gives us shared visibility across the entire customer journey. When someone asks about their account, I can see all previous communications instantly.

  ### 47. Transformed how our project team handles client emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garima J. | Senior Financial Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

Getting all our project correspondence into one unified place has been a total shift for
how we operate. Jumping between different projects is seamless, converting emails into
action items happens right on the spot, and our team discussions stay completely hidden
 from client view.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The integration options need expanding - a handful of tools we depend on daily still don't
have direct connections. The left sidebar also starts feeling pretty cluttered once you're
juggling a lot of shared inboxes simultaneously.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing and refining client emails together as a team before sending has genuinely raised our game. Response times are better, we're more in sync with each other, and we've actually had clients bring up how much smoother things feel on their end.

  ### 48. We love Missive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Manager, Marketing Maven, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I love the connection to the team and how easy it is to collaborate before responding to a text or email from customer.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

I’m finding it difficult to know which messages I should close, where it goes. I just need more training likely, I just find it a little difficult to determine where to put things or how to keep important conversations at the top. I’m going to see if I can find training. Not something missive needs to do anything about, it’s just me lol.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to have a record of work communications to be able to go back and reference.

  ### 49. Game-changer for support team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay K. | Assistant Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

The threaded conversations with internal team chat are phenomenal. We can discuss strategy, draft responses together, and keep all context in one place without cluttering the actual email. It's like having Slack built into your inbox, but way more useful because the conversation stays with the relevant email.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

The reporting features could be more robust. I'd love deeper analytics on response times, team performance, and customer interaction patterns. Right now it's pretty basic.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were drowning in email chaos - multiple people responding to the same customer, losing track of who was handling what, and having conversations about emails in three different places. Missive centralized everything. Now we have complete visibility, accountability, and our customers get faster, more consistent responses.

  ### 50. It is okay

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloë D. | Sales Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Missive?**

I especially like the shared inbox functionality and the ability to discuss emails internally before replying to customers. It keeps communication professional and organized.

**What do you dislike about Missive?**

Certain settings and automation options could be explained more clearly for less technical users.

**What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems is Missive solving and how is that benefiting you?
