## Metaview Reviews
  ### 1. Performance Review: Metaview for Interview Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview significantly reduces manual note-taking during interviews, allowing recruiters and hiring managers to stay fully engaged in the conversation. I appreciate its automated transcription and structured summaries, which help streamline feedback sharing, reduce bias, and accelerate decision-making. The integration with our ATS and the ability to review interview insights asynchronously also makes it an invaluable tool for improving consistency and quality across the hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

While Metaview is a powerful tool, one area for improvement is its limited customization options for interview summary templates and feedback formats. In some cases, the summaries can feel a bit too generic, requiring manual editing to align with internal evaluation criteria. Additionally, for non-standard or highly technical interviews, the platform occasionally misses context or nuances that a human note-taker might capture more effectively.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is solving the problem of manual note-taking and inconsistent interview documentation, which often leads to delayed feedback, missed insights, and interviewer fatigue. By automatically transcribing interviews and generating structured summaries, it allows our team to stay fully present during conversations and make faster, more informed hiring decisions. It also promotes fairer, more objective evaluations by reducing the reliance on memory and ensuring a consistent record of each candidate interaction. This has significantly improved our interviewer efficiency, collaboration, and overall candidate experience.

  ### 2. A game changer for anyone in recruitment!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

The platform is very easy to navigate and use. I've had times where a manager has followed the link to the notes and be able to get AI summaries & use all the features without me having to explain anything to them.

The notetaking itself, we've found, is very accurate considering our interviews are in person. We've tried other options that have really struggled with multiple people in the same meeting room using one microphone.

It wasn't difficult to set up either, I just made a log in and started using metaview on some interviews as a test. No problems at all and was impressed straight away.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I genuinely struggle to find anything majorly wrong, I feel that from my experience it is being rather picky to do so.
The reporting function could be a bit easier to use but that's very minor.
It would be interesting to see what more could be done via ATS integrations

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main pain point this has taken away is note taking, specifically the inconsistency between managers' note taking across different roles and departments. We wanted to make sure that there is a default standard of interview notes for all roles across the business, previously some managers would type verbatim and some would barely do bullet points, leading to inconsistent candidate experience and inconsistent hiring decision making.

  ### 3. My new best friend in recruitment!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna T. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has been a game-changer in my role, saving me so much time and significantly improving my efficiency and productivity. It’s incredibly easy to use and allows me to stay fully engaged in conversations without worrying about note-taking, I know everything is captured accurately. If I ever need to revisit a discussion, I can simply listen back, eliminating any concerns about missing or mishearing details.

What truly sets Metaview apart is its ability to present notes in a well-structured, professional, and factual manner, free from bias or personal opinion. It does a far better job than I ever could in just a few seconds, making my workflow smoother and more effective.

It was also seamless to connect to my ATS, and the data transfers automatically and immediately, saving even more time.

I use Metaview daily, sometimes multiple times a day, and when I’ve had any questions or issues, their customer support has been incredibly responsive.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I have nothing to dislike about Metaview! It has been an incredibly useful tool in streamlining my workflow and improving efficiency.

That said, as with any AI tool, it’s important to apply personal judgment when reviewing candidate suitability to ensure a well-rounded and informed hiring decision.

While AI-generated notes and insights provide a valuable foundation, factors such as cultural fit, nuanced soft skills, and contextual understanding still require human assessment. AI enhances the process, but the final decision should always be guided by experience, expertise, and a deep understanding of the role and organization.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

time, efficiency, productivity, bias free, consistency

  ### 4. Great praises from both HR and business managers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine W. | Senior HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

We were initially skeptical of the product, but it was typical for anyone new to using AI at work. We used Metaview within the HR team and eventually rolled it out to the testing business users. Now, we offer the tool to everyone in our organization! We kept getting praise about how easy it was to use Metaview and how easy it was to mold the raw scripts into the format that we would find helpful. Another highlight is the Metaview team - we had a great experience with the Sales Manager and then the Implementation Manager. We are happy to report that the Sales Manager said the tool would offer what the implementation manager could deliver.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing I can think of. Even the pricing is very reasonable, so I don't have anything 'dislike' about the tool.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We trained our interviewers well. Almost everyone in the company had done the interview before. However, taking notes was brutual. Users would either take LOTS OF notes or no notes at all. Users also told HR that they were afraid of not taking 'good notes'. What we care the most is the objective observation of the candidates. No one will look at the notes again after the person is hired. Metaview solved our notes-taking problem, and gave HR some great talent intelligence. We are so pleased with Metaview.

  ### 5. Metaview is a life saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly B. | Executive Talent Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview is a game changer for me, especially because I often interview candidates in German, which is not my native language. I can't always write notes fast enough and realize I miss some of what they are saying. I love that I can go back into the assistant and ask specific questions about topics discussed with the candidate.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

It mixes up languages. When I do interviews in German, it gives me my interview notes in English. This could just be something that I need to change in the settings.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me give complete transparency to my clients. I offer the clients snippets to view bits of the interview. Some clients use just these, others watch the whole interview. Most clients love this aspect. It gives our clients deeper insights into how the candidates communicate, their personalities, their professional presence.

For me personally, it helps me to create my executive summary and list strengths + weakness to send to my clients, when presenting candidates.

  ### 6. Amazing! the best Talent Intelligence software I used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia O. | Sr Tech Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has made my job as Tech Recruiter much easier and now I am more productive, before Metaview doing my notes on the standard of my organization took me between 1 to 2 hours, now with Metaview my notes are ready in 5 minutes. I love that Metaview doesn't make assumptions and the notes are according to what I talked about with candidates, there are many templates to use, but you can also create your template according to your needs, it has an AI assistant, where you can ask about the topics you cover in your call. I love the interface it is very intuitive. When I was trying the free version I recommended to all my friends to use this, and when my lead announced we had access to the paid version, I was the most happy woman in the world.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing, I love everything about Metaview

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is helping me to do notes from my calls with candidates before this took me between 1 to 2 hours per candidate, and now it is taking me 5 minutes, which allows me to have more interviews during the day.
It also helps to have better-quality of my notes

  ### 7. Gives you the freedom to be present

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam C. | Talent Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

- Highly accurate note taking
- Templates, helping to organize transcripts into usable candidate profiles
- Ability to add Metaview to calendar events directly on the site

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

- Editing and formatting is still a little basic

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to take notes while on the call means I can be completely present and have a much more insightful discussion.

  ### 8. A absolute Game-Changer and necessity in Hiring and Recruitment!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | Executive Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview is an absolute recruitment game changer in my eyes. The time it saves to detail word by word concise notes and translate the notes into various categories to easily relay to a hiring manager makes life much easier. I wish I had this tool 10 years ago. My interviews used to be disrupted by my typing every word into interview sections and having to parse my notes was time consuming. This saves a ton of time and is a necessity.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing so far stands out as a dislike, very intuitive and easy to use

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most impressive aspects of Metaview is its seamless integration with ATS platforms and other hiring tools, making it easy to incorporate into existing workflows. The accuracy of the AI-generated summaries is remarkable, reducing the risk of bias and ensuring hiring decisions are backed by data-driven insights.

  ### 9. Executive search firm owner reviews Metaview

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom Z. | President/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Simple to use during a call, Zoom meeting or after-the-fact by dropping and dragging an MP3 into the home page. Can also integrate with your calendar and will prompt prior to making a call to confirm you want to capture conversation details. Users can also create custom "views" to capture specific data that frequently comes up in conversations.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

AI does not always transcribe information initially on summary document, but can pull additional data with prompts.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time with manual transcription and improves accuracy of conversations.

  ### 10. Easy to use, quick and reliable game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennie P. | People and Capability Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

I love that I can really focus on engaging with the candidate and what they are saying, while Metaview does the heavy lifting for me. I am also impressed with the quality of the notes considering we interview lots of people who don't have English as a first language. It is easy to use and works seemlessly with Teams. I use it for online interviews and face to face. I also like that I can go back into the assistant and ask specific questions about topics we discussed.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

No downsides - it is performing really well.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poor quality notes taken by interviewers, no more trying to decipher handwritten notes or typing in interviews.

  ### 11. This tool is a game changer!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron S. | Head of Internal Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

I love that you can make custum templates that will extract only the relivant information from the transcripts.
It is very easy to use and to get implemented.
The AI is very good at summarieing conversations into bite sized chunks.
You are able to compare multiple conversations and they have added anew feature where you can custom search all your conversations to find specific information which is great when it comes to monthly reporting.
It intergrates with PinPoint and auto joins any interviews I have.
My account manager (Cameron Goldie-Scot), is awesome and is always on hand for any support I need.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Sometimes, the AI bot stuggles when someone with an accent is on a call.
We have it intergrated with PinPoint, but sometimes it randomly disconnects without warning and will not join/record the interviews it should (however, the support team are very responsive and always fix issues quickly).

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes away the pressure of writting notes in interviews and briefing calls. So I am able to give my full attention to whom ever I am speaking to. Also it makes sharing interview notes 100x easier.

  ### 12. fantastic software to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ryan a. | SENIOR EXECUTIVE, Talent acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

The softwsrs really helps to speed up hiring processes and to summarize the interviews that I’ve done. I don’t have to manually keep trying, and I can just spend my time and effort into really finding the best talent for my company

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

everything is great about Metaview, but if you don’t ask me something that I don’t like, I would say that if Metaview has an app, you will be much more better

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

off my issue on summarizing and tracking candidates manually Meadow view helps me to summarize the hiring process and speed up my hiring workflow

  ### 13. Saves time and positively enhances hiring outcomes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia G. | Talent Operations Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

We really appreciate how this product enhances our ability to make objective hiring decisions. By allowing us to revisit past conversations, it helps us verify information rather than relying solely on memory, which adds a layer of fairness to our process. It's also versatile—we can use it not just for interviews, but for kick-off and debrief calls as well, which makes it a valuable tool throughout the hiring process. Additionally, we’ve noticed continuous improvements, like the recently enhanced filters, which make it even easier to gather insights and assess interview performance.

We’re also extremely impressed with the client support—it’s truly second to none. Whenever we have a question, the team responds quickly and is always helpful, making us feel well-supported. Additionally, it’s fantastic to see our feedback being taken on board and implemented swiftly with each product update. This responsiveness really sets the product apart and makes us feel like valued partners in its development.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

One challenge we’ve encountered with the product is the manual effort required when it’s used to capture internal calls or meetings with multiple participants. In these cases, we often have to go in and manually tag each speaker, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, while the AI functionalities are quite helpful, they still require some human oversight to ensure the outputs are fully accurate and capture all the necessary details. For example, when using tools like the AI Assistant, additional prompts may be needed to get the most comprehensive results, which adds an extra step to the process.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is solving several key challenges in our hiring process, making a noticeable impact on our efficiency and decision-making. First, it allows us to focus entirely on the conversation without needing to take manual notes, which helps us engage better with candidates. The ability to revisit conversations afterward is also invaluable—it ensures that our hiring decisions are based on objective information rather than memory, promoting fairness in our evaluations.

Another major benefit is how Metaview enables us to compare interviews against each other, creating a benchmark for assessing candidates consistently against our needs. The Filters functionality is also a powerful tool; it lets us flag specific topics across conversations, such as competitive salary trends or whether candidates mention ongoing interview processes with other companies. This proactive insight helps us act promptly on critical information that might otherwise go unnoticed, ensuring we stay competitive and don’t miss out on great talent.

  ### 14. Does everything that you want at great value!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Lead Recruiter/Head of Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

I use Metaview to capture interview notes as a Recruiting Leader. The note-taking capabilities are very accurate and it is very easy to sync Metaview with your calendar when scheduling (we use G-Suite) as well as your ATS (we use Ashby). I also appreciate the ability to summarize and condense notes after the conversation and the post-call analysis.

The support team is great, and they are constantly innovating and enhancing the functionality to best support their users.

I use it daily for my phone screen and panel interviews and it was very simple too set up and implement out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

There are some minor inaccuracies which you would come to expect from an AI-tool, otherwise, there are no significant flaws to the product.

As with any tool that captures personal information during interviews, there can be pushback both internally and with candidates opting in to Metaview recording that information. It would be great if there was future detection of sensitive/protected information so that it can mask or edit out that content.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a recruiter, Metaview helps me as a user to focus on the conversation with candidates without having to capture notes simultaneously and miss key things that are being said. I can summarize feedback notes very easily and quickly and record a comprehensive overview of my conversations and then analyze anything that can be improved or replicated in future calls.

  ### 15. MUST HAVE for Recruiters!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janka Z. | Global Talent Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Without Metaview, I wouldn’t want to do any interviews! For a mere "funny money" investment of $20-60 a month, I get to enjoy pleasant chats with candidates without lifting a finger—well, almost!

This clever chatbot waltzes into every interview on its own (no invites needed, it syncs right from my calendar and is connected to the ATS). It takes notes, records video (in 32 languages, mind you!), and is like Fireflies, but supercharged for interviews. It even whips up a lightning-fast analysis and report based on my criteria.

I've got a preset report structure for the hiring manager that it fills out right after the interview (salary, motivation, why them?), I just add a sprinkle of cultural/team fit insights, and in 2-5 minutes, I have a polished email ready for the hiring manager. If I have any follow-up questions, I just ask the chatbot and boom—I’ve got the answer in a second! It’s an enormous help, everything in one place. It lets me conduct interviews from anywhere without a computer or notebook. I definitely don’t want to go back!

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Too good to be true! But you should be aware of many advantages sum up in this funny video: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/metaview-technologies_we-know-you-have-a-lot-of-things-to-think-activity-7119696191356850177-jVNh/ I just love it!

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- the quality of interviews is much higher as the meeting could be much more professional, personal, and deeper
- I could find all important information afterward, so any information will be lost, so any unconscious bias mistakes
- it saves me a lot of hours per week by making my candidate reports in a second in a very professional way, and saves time for my managers, if they cannot attend the meeting, they can just watch the interview or read the transcript
- embrace sharing the most important information within the hiring team, if many interviewers are part of the panel, they won´t repeat the same questions
- it´s a win-win for business as well as for candidates. We´ve never had any negative feedback from the candidates or managers about the tool.

  ### 16. Interview call information ordered how you want it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Technical Recruitment Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

As an Agency Recruiter I've found a lot of value in using Metaview for Pre-screen interviews, post-client interview feedback calls, and for references too. I like that you can create templates to pull and summarise the information from the call that you want and you can create custom template using natural language prompts. I use the TLDR function in formulating my candidate writeups to hiring managers. I can go back and find other information if needed and nothing from the call is missed. I have used the call verbal snippets function to send small parts of a call to a candidate or a hiring manager as additional verification of something too. After calling a candidate and discussing at length their considerations about a job offer I made quick template to highlight what the hiring manager should do to address all the candidate's drivers in terms of taking an offer. So its quite versatile I find, and the use cases are saving time, ensuring all relevant information is there when needed, and I can transparently and proactively share things that can help a hiring process progress when it could otherwise stall.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I want to be able to specify the gender of callers on call types that are Job Interview. Currently, you can only do this for calls that are Job Intrerview call types. Instead of calling everyone they I just change the call type to Job Interview and I can then assign speaker genders accordingly.

I want better text formatting within Metaview, e.g. making things bold or adding white space in the text outputs etc.

It would be good if you could make an export function in word that links to company templates and branding so outputs can be more quickly shared, edited in word (mainly for formatting), and quckly shared with a company branded document rather than a metaview brnaded pdf where I am unhappy with the text formatting.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Decreasing note taking time.
Making sure all the information from calls is there to be used and it can be referenced later too.
Decreased time to write up consultants comments on cv's, provide more comprehensive post-interview feedback, get references done very quickly, and provide more transparent communication of what a candidate or hiring manager said to the other party to get people on the same page quicker and with less follow up needed.

  ### 17. Great Tool for Improved Interview Flow and Objectivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valeria S. | Senior Talent Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has significantly streamlined my interview process. The AI assistant allows me to focus on having meaningful conversations with candidates instead of being distracted by typing notes. I can easily track key details like a candidate’s tech stack without asking repetitive questions, and Metaview captures the interview experience accurately—even for specialized terms I may not be familiar with. This tool has also helped me stay more objective by double-checking that candidates meet the skills we’re looking for, keeping my biases in check. The ability to review and access interviews conducted by my colleagues has also been invaluable in maintaining continuity, especially when taking over roles from other team members.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

If I am being picky, occasionally, the wrong scorecard is pulled into Metaview, or not all fields are completed.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview helps me stay focused on candidate conversations rather than taking extensive notes. I can now concentrate on assessing candidates’ skills and responses more effectively. It also makes follow-ups easy, allowing me to retrieve (and relive) important details, like salary expectations, without reaching out to candidates again—saving both time and maintaining professionalism.

  ### 18. Game-Changing Interview note taker – Metaview is a Must-Have!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica M. | Recruitment Sourcing Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

What I love most about Metaview is its efficiency as an AI-powered notetaker. It seamlessly captures every detail of interviews, allowing me to be fully present and engaged with candidates, rather than worrying about taking notes. Metaview’s AI highlights key insights, making it easy to revisit important moments without sifting through hours of recordings. The summaries are organized, precise, and ready to review immediately after the interview, saving significant time in post-interview evaluations. This tool has truly streamlined our hiring process, improved accuracy in feedback, and enhanced the overall candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

While Metaview is fantastic overall, I would love to see more customization options, especially in automating templates. It would be amazing if the AI could adjust the templates automatically based on the type of profile or customer I’m working with. This kind of smart customization would make it even easier to prioritize relevant insights and tailor feedback to the specific needs of each role. It’s a small area for improvement but would definitely enhance the overall user experience!

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is solving the challenge of detailed, accurate note-taking during interviews, which used to take up a lot of time and attention. With its AI-powered notetaking, I no longer need to divide my focus between listening and writing notes; I can stay fully engaged in the conversation. This has improved the quality of my interactions with candidates and ensures I don’t miss any key points. The organized, AI-generated summaries allow for quick and reliable feedback sharing with the team, making our hiring process faster, more consistent, and more data-driven. Overall, Metaview has streamlined our workflow, saving time and enhancing the candidate experience.

  ### 19. Fantastic, intuitive tool with a Swiss Army level of use cases.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave S. | Executive Search Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

The biggest win with Metaview is how much time it saves. Literal hours writing up candidate reports for clients—Metaview automates the heavy lifting, allowing me to focus on fine-tuning each report with the points I want to highlight for the client. It opens up my day to lots more higher-leverage work.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

If I'm being picky - the templates are a few too many clicks away. It would be great to access and edit them via a central dashboard.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, time and focus. It’s given me more time in my day to focus on higher-leverage tasks, making me more productive and increasing my overall effectiveness. I still take a few notes while I interview to guide the conversation, but with the knowledge that every fact and figure is being captured for me in the background. I don't have to type and talk, which hopefully gives me a little more meaningful engagement with my candidates and clients.

  ### 20. Game-changing AI tool for Recruiters!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica J. | Senior Enterprise Talent Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has been such as asset in helping to make my recruiting process more efficient. I love that I'm able to use the tool to capture details of my candidate screens and then summarize the conversation to pull out the most critical aspects of the conversation to best showcase the candidate's background and experience. I no longer have to spend a lot of time trying to rewrite my notes because Metaview does it for me! I also love that I can use the tool to go back and review the entire transcribed conversation if I need to recall something specific. Every Recruiter needs this!

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

The only thing I dislike it how the tool automatically emails notes to meeting attendees when it is used for internal meetings. All meeting attendees don't always have a Metaview seat so they aren't familiar with the tool. I'd rather summarize the meeting and distribute the notes myself than have Metaview automatically send them.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is really helping to solve the problem of Recruiter efficiency. By using this tool, I'm able to be more focused and "present" in my candidate conversations, while also taking less time to generate candidate summaries to present to the hiring manager.

  ### 21. Helps me discover the treasure in people

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Founder and Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

I'm going to be real here. I'm not getting any younger. Although I have 80WPM+ typing powers, I don't always capture what's needed. Even when I do, in the past, my raw notes sometimes miss the mark.

And then, I need to revisit & translate them for client summaries. A time sink.

Because it's built for Recruiter use cases, I know that Metaview will always give me a perfectly structured, comprehensive summary of everything discussed.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I work Executive, C-suite searches. Some candidates still don't wish to have an AI notetaker present, especially on the first call when they might need to disclose deeply personal stuff.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminates the need for notation. [Saves Time]
Can share snippets of video easily to help a candidate land in a more personal way, or answer a key question. [Increases Conversions]
Easy access to comprehensive notes from prior candidates is great for continuity of relationship. [Eases Talent ReDiscovery]

  ### 22. Best thing to happen to recruiting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calista Q. | Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has completely transformed the way I approach phone screens! It makes it easy to capture important moments and insights during discussions, ensuring nothing gets overlooked. The ability to summarize key points and track action items has significantly improved my productivity and accountability.

What I love most is how it saves me hours each week on note-taking and follow-ups. With Metaview, I can focus on engaging in the conversation rather than scrambling to jot down everything. If you're looking to elevate your virtual meeting experience and reclaim your time, I highly recommend Metaview. It’s a game changer!

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I use Metaview through the phone majority of the time and when candidates would call back after missing my inital call I would have to take notes manually or give them a call back using Metaview. They just relasesed the call-back feature and hopefully this will solve my problem!

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note-Taking: It alleviates the burden of manual note-taking, allowing participants to focus on the discussion rather than trying to capture every detail. This saves time and mental energy.

Information Overload: In fast-paced meetings, important points can get lost. Metaview summarizes key discussions, ensuring that everyone has access to the most relevant information.

  ### 23. Best Time-Saver and AI tool that has helped change my job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franklin B. | Divisional Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview allows me to save so much time and inaccuracies and is incredibly user friendly. The interface is easy to navigate and has allowed me to easily set up templates to rewrite information that would previously take me a couple hours to write within minutes. The stats are mildly useful to look at, and has added the opportunity to review how much time I take speaking versus how much they speak.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

The only hard part is being able to navigate the AI into what I want to produce, but that's more of a self skill and it's geting easier with more use.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Take accurate notes of long calls where I cnat track everything said (Used to have to write onto notepad or just remmeber)
- Recall calls where I need a piece of information
- Summarise notes and put into a format of qualification sheet highly useful in my role

  ### 24. Major boost to Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Vice President of Client Delivery & Executive Search | HR & Private Equity , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Most of my initial conversations take place over the phone. Metaview's ability to log into the phone call and take notes has been a game changer. It has allowed me to have a more productive conversation rather than focus on taking notes. This is a must have.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I would love to be able to have my phone number show up to clients/candidates rather than Metaviews. other than that it is fantastic.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is providing me with more time to connect rathern than take notes.

  ### 25. A recruitment revolution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tory D. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has revolutionised the way both myself and our hiring managers conduct interviews. The accurate and detailed notes frees us up to focus more on the conversation and thus build a stronger rapport with candidates. The AI Assistant is incredibly useful as it the TLDR function when searching for key words in the conversation. The Interview Comparison function makes it simpler to compare candidates (especially where the time to hire has been longer) and thus identify top performers. This technology is not just great value for money, it saves everyone time, improving the overall quality of the hiring process. As a recruiter what's not to love?

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I look forward to when the recordings in a room are advanced enought to use this technology to the same extent for face to face interviews.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 26. Amazing software to create easy to read interview notes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrienne G. | Senior Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

I love that it takes notes for interviews for both video and telecom. It is easy to use and there are different templates to get an idea if the candidate is the right fit. You can also ask questions from your interview to get a summary of what was discussed.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing - but it would be great if there was a WhatsApp integration as well for note taking

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note taking during interviews and the summaries for all topics discussed

  ### 27. It's an indispensable partner to every conversation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt E. | Talent Acquisition Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

As a TA leader, I appreciate the data points and candidate questions I can review. As a recruiter, this tool has become indispensable for everything from internal meetings—to enforce accountability—to referencing initial chats at the offer stage. It also has great potential for 1-on-1 meetings to ensure team alignment on key takeaways.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I'd like to have a bit more customization within the templates, but I know that's being worked on. I'd also like to have access to the Question/Answer template during internal meetings.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview allows teams to concentrate on what truly matters in meetings, alleviating the pressure of needing to capture every detail of the conversation. By handling note-taking seamlessly, it frees up participants to engage more thoughtfully, fostering a more productive and focused environment.

  ### 29. An essential tool in my hiring process!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie-Sophie G. | Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has become an essential tool in my hiring process. It allows me to focus fully on my conversations with candidates, knowing that it will capture both key takeaways and important details for me. The summaries are clear and structured and save me a significant amount of time. The tool is also directly implemented to all candidates call. I now use it on all my calls, and it has truly improved my workflow. Highly recommend!"

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Metaview can sometimes be a bit slow when switching from one template to another.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multitasking when in a candidate interview (i.e. note taking + discussing and deep diving with the candidate).

  ### 30. Why this tool changed my recruiting life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon L. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has made me a much better recruiter because I am no longer focused on taking notes of my conversations with prospective candidates. I can pay attention to what they say and ask great follow-up questions for more profound clarity. I am confident that all the topics I discuss with prospective candidates will have detailed notes sent to me. Once I have the notes (usually within 3 minutes of finishing a call), I can review, modify, and send them to my client within just a few minutes. Sometimes, these write-ups could take up to 45 minutes each. This is the best time saver, and the notes are stored on their cloud, so you can review conversations at any time you want. Another fantastic feature is that you can go back into the conversation and type in questions you might have, and Metaview will provide the answer as long as it was discussed. An example would be, do you have a non-compete, or do you have kids in high school that could impact a potential move, etc...

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

There is too much duplication from one topic to the next topic. I would be good if Metaview could solve that issue This is what I need to eliminate when I review my notes.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving me more time in my day. Also when I have a recruit call to make and if I am away from my desk, I can still make the call and when I get back to my computer I will have all the notes I need. Now driving and recruiting can be done seamlessly.

The Metaview team support you in a prompt manner when struggling with uploads or simply navigating a tricky task, and the platfrom is just so very versatile, even though I mostly use it for reference checks.

Not much to dislike. At one stage uploading audio files was a touch glitchy but That was nipped in the bud very quickly when we queried it with support.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time! It saves me so much time I cannot tell you. Along with that, it effectively captures tricky voices, notations, or terms and translates that into a neat and valuable paragraph that is relatable and easy to read.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing that comes to mind. It's very straight forward and easy.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interviewing can be tricky at the best of times, but accurately capturing information in your notes while listening to the next bit of information a candidate gives you can be difficult. Using Metaview very quickly showed me actually how much information you miss when having to multitask while taking notes.

  ### 35. Metaview saves me tons of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview is like my second brain. Not only can I rewatch interviews, but I can also ask the AI assistant for specific details that I don't immediately remember. The template function also helps me to structure the outcome for my report and thus saves tons of time. Moreover, during my conversations, I can now 100% focus on my counterpart without caring too much about notetaking which makes me look distracted. I love working with it and I have referred it to many of my contacts already. I use it on a daily basis and it works flawlessly with all our integrations. Customer Support is also great and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I sometimes have conversations in my native language (German) which Metaview is doing okay with, but not perfect. Sometimes the results are quite funny, but overall it still works out. It gets improved almost on a daily basis.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Metaview, I had to take notes manually which often made me seem distracted and did not leave a great candidate experience. Moreover, you can never note down EVERYTHING, so Metaview works like a second brain to me.

The AI Notes are a hugh timesaver and allow me to focus on the converstiion vs. trying to listen and type. I also love features like TLDR to easily generate one paragraph summaries that include the exact topics I want to highlight. This a significant help when sending note to hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

The tone is a little formal and robotic so some editing is necessary.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is automating note-taking and giving me clearer takeaways from each interview. I have better data to work with, which speeds up my process and makes collaboration more seamless.

Highly intelligent applications.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Occasionally, the wording on the records is wrong. The percentage is below 5%.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to saving me time while taking minutes of meetings, Mataview also keeps track of the individuals I've spoken with and the topics we covered throughout the day. My role as an internal recruiter will benefit greatly from this.

  ### 39. Time saving Ai tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hartleigh C. | Principal , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview's AI-powered notes make me more efficient in my job. I can focus on listening and asking the right questions versus capturing the conversation and typing notes. I also no longer need to add a person to the call to simply take notes. The platform is user-friendly, and I can quickly review all the places in the conversation where a topic was discussed. The summary tool allows you to review the key points of an hour-long call. All these features have helped me deliver insights and data to our clients quickly in their decision-making process. The Metaview team proactively reaches out when there are new features or to show you how to use the platform more efficiently. Those one-on-one training are very valuable to how they are investing in their clients.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I'd like to see Metaview continue to add small features but nothing that is a show-stopper.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to review candidate strengths, non-verbal communication, word choice, and accomplishments over their career history in an efficient way for the selection process, identify areas for individual improvement, and unlock data for more informed decisions.

  ### 40. A product I want to shout from the rooftops about!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview makes me enjoy screening calls more! I love talking to candidates, but often found the combination of interviewing a candidate and note-taking a cumbersome task. The thought of then trying to decipher my scribbling would then fill me with dread. I can now relax in to the conversation, dive deep in to the topics I need to cover, and enjoy the conversation, confident in the knowledge that the note taking is being taken care of.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

I don't dislike anything about it. A really great product that is constantly evolving, with a great UX, and one that has become an essntial component in my recruiting toolkit.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Evaluations have become much easier: Because I've been listening more intently to each candidate, and I have a detailed summary of the notes, I can more easily highlight the pros and cons of the candidate, making more meaningful recommendations to the hiring manager
-Hiring Managers are impressed: So far, I'm only using Metaview for my own screening interviews (but strongly recommending to my clients). Hiring Managers have commented on the increased quality of my scorecards and evaluations.
-Improved candidate experience: I'm more 'in the moment' and engaged, which has a positive effect on the conversation for the candidate. I'm also not missing anything. Occasionally, my scribbled notes wouldn't make sense, and I'd have to go back to the candidate to ask a question again, which isn't great for the candidate. Not any more!

  ### 41. Game-changing Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview eliminates the need to split my focus between candidates and note-taking, allowing me to have more natural flowing conversations. It saves a huge amount of time, with thorough notes that are produced within minutes that are easy to review, download and share. And having a complete record of every conversation that I can easily reference at any time has been highly useful.

There was no barrier to implementation with my current set-up, and customer support is highly responsive.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Like any AI tool, Metaview still requires a human touch to ensure best possible results, but I have note experienced any downsides to the product.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The AI summaries and recordings help me collaborate with hiring managers much more effectively because I can share details on candidates instantly and can easily refer back to what they actually said in interviews. Metaview has also reduced my admin work significantly since I don't have to write up candidate reports from scratch, or spend lots of time sharing context with hiring teams.

  ### 42. Metaview saves us time and energy on repetitive tasks - makes us efficient!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kat H. | Sourcing Manager EMEA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview quickly allowed our Recruiters to take charge of their interviews, by giving them the freedom to not take their own notes! They are now able to fully engage with candidates, make a non-biased appraisal of candidates and quickly, standardised and accurately capture all relevant information in a few minutes. Customer support is fantastic, we could not ask for better support! We are also impressed by the speed of new functionalities that are implemented according to feedbacks gathered from customers.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Sometimes when working with foreign languages, Metaview sometimes has not managed to capture perfectly, especially if candidate has a dialect, like Swiss German, or Flemmish.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview helps us win time by creating notes and cover pages in minutes. Metaview helps us avoic bias, as we capture all details in interview, nothing is missed. It also demonstrates that we are an organisation that embraces technology and AI

  ### 43. Freedom to Truly Connect with Candidates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany M. | Talent Acquisition and Engagement Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has freed me from the stress of focusing on taking detailed notes during my interviews. I didn't realize how taking notes was keeping me from a more natural, fluid conversation with candidates. I don't need to prep as much for interviews either. I can dive right in and have a more natural conversation. I love the templates you can create which will shuffle, sift, and organize the AI notes beautifully in short or long form, paragraph or bullets, and by topic/question. I love the ability to redact where needed as well if a candidate overshares sensitive information. Metaview is the best of the recruiting AI note tools I've tried and I couldn't be happier!

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Nothing yet. I'm loving everything so far.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It frees me up to truly connect with candidates and not focus on catching every word in manual notes.

  ### 44. AI notetaker with awesome accuracy in English

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karmen T. | Recruitment Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

The AI notetaker has completely changed how I conduct interviews. It captures everything and organizes it perfectly, so I can focus more on candidates. I know that all the important information is being recorded.
I love that it doesn't interpret/evaluate the candidate's answers. Other similar tools do that and not accurately, makes me doubt how accurate are the notes.

It's also awesome for running salary surveys and getting market insights in a summarized way.
As metrics are very important, I love how it gives you feedback of the quality of the interview!

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Sometimes for the Estonian language, it doesn't capture the details correctly. Mixes candidate answer/questions with interviewer questions/answers.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s taken away the need to manually write up notes, which used to be so time-consuming. Now, I get accurate notes and have more time to focus on other parts of my job.

  ### 45. A great tool that enhanced our interview & candidate experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samy A. | RecOps, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

What I like best about Metaview is its ability to deliver actionable insights from interviews, helping our TA team to refine the hiring processes and make more informed decisions based on real-time data.

It's also a great tool to coach recruiters and hiring managers on factual interviews.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Not a "dislike" per say but looking forward to getting new features such as: new types of templates to use, some help on prompting, crafting interview questions based on job personas, etc.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Time spent on itw feedbacks => thanks to Metaview taking the notes by itself, we only have to focus on our assessment and not take everything into detailed noted ourselves.

- Better candidate experience since the interviews are more focused on discussing vs taking notes

- An easy way to check what happened in a specific interview and align on a decision

  ### 46. Metaview is the best tool to help interviewers take notes and actively listen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolina B. | Talent Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Trusting that the tool will take proper notes and relying on those notes after the call to write your feedback, but also to come back to the notes at a later time if needed.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

It's not something huge, but I would love to have the opportunity to remove the video recording during the interview if the candidate isn't comfortable.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Helping our team of interviewers send feedback faster (and more accurate): that benefits the growth of the company, we are a start up scaling really fast, and we need the interview process to move smoothly, but fast;
- Making sure interviewers are asking interview questions to assess specific role-related skills, instead of asking questions that could be bias;
- A more streamlined and consistent process throughout the organization.

  ### 47. Hands-down the best AI notetaker

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview’s AI Notes make screening candidates so much better. I can focus completely on the candidate, knowing that every important detail is captured. The accuracy of the notes is pretty incredible, and it’s easy to refer back to the notes whenever I need to. Metaview saves me from the grind of manual note-taking, which used to take up a lot of my time. I also have better data to refer back to when making recommendations on candidates. The ability to create templates

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Minor typos. Sometimes the template does'nt pull the answer to the question listed in 1 template - but does in another ( same exact question).

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview saves me from the grind of manual note-taking, which used to take up a lot of my time. I also have better data to refer back to when making recommendations on candidates.

  ### 48. Transformed the way we conduct interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Captures notes perfectly and allows you to just focus on asking the right questions and giving your candidates/clients a good experience. Super simple to use, highly tweakable, quality/depth of the report you get is impressive, it doesn't miss much of what is being said. Tried general note takers (not tailored to recruiters) and this is day and night.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

No downsides really but super excited about the potential future features they could come up with. Like all other note takers it sometimes doesn't catch company or people names perfectly but that's a minor thing.

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves me and the firm a lot of time cleaning / reviewing notes. Quality of notes is 10x better than what can be achieved by a human. It doesn't miss any of the important details and allows you to focus on the person in front of you.

  ### 49. Efficiency redefined - The time-saving magic of Metaview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ave A. | Recruitment Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview has dramatically improved both my workflow and my team's efficiency, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: connecting with candidates. The quality of our interview notes has improved significantly and summarizing them for our hiring managers is super easy with Metaviews built-in features.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

Since our team is working with multiple languages, it would be great to see improvements in the transcriptions of the Estonian language (not sure about the quality of other non-English languages).

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s saving me hours every week on admin tasks and allowing me to focus on more strategic initiatives without feeling overwhelmed.

  ### 50. Always at the cutting edge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dragi P. | Recruitment Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Metaview?**

Metaview is constantly releasing helpful new features that help me do my job better. The pace of innovation is impressive and sets them apart from other tools on the market.

**What do you dislike about Metaview?**

That I need to log in every time :) this is the only thing

**What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metaview is keeping me on top of my game with my recruiters. It helps me do my job faster, and more effectively. I can collaborate more effectively with hiring teams, and get back hours in my week that used to be spent on admin.
