"Smooth Migration and Amazing Support"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

Working with the KnowledgeOwl team, we had one of the smoothest migrations to a new platform that I've ever experienced.

They've also continued to provide amazing support. Any question we've raised has gotten a fast, knowledgeable response, and it doesn't feel like the attention dropped off once the contract was signed the way it can with other vendors.

On the product side, the editor itself is a big step up from WordPress: an intuitive WYSIWYG editor, a global Find & Replace across the whole KB, built-in SEO fields, and version staging for coordinating docs with product launches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

Honestly not much to flag. The KnowledgeOwl team has been able to address and resolve any issues that I've come across. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Yet Powerful, Backed by Exceptional Support"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

I love how innovative KnowledgeOwl is, how supportive they are all of the time, and their judicial and appropriate use of AI. Most of all, I love their passion for helping. They’re wonderful to work with, always willing to answer questions, and they take feedback and bring it into upcoming releases. Their team is passionate about the product and offers webinars and other ways to learn it better and use its features. The analytics let me see how my articles are doing, including whether they’re being read or redirected. I can customize pages for the experience in my app, and a third-party AI tool lets me write code and make those changes easily as a non-engineer, without waiting for a development cycle. The search is phenomenal, and I like the glossary and all the tools that make KnowledgeOwl easy and fun to use. I wasn’t there for the original setup, but setting up an additional internal knowledge base was really easy, and our engineers liked the easy integration. Reader groups make it easy to segment readers so they only see articles relevant to them. The support makes a big difference: when we have questions or something doesn’t work, they’re quick to jump on a call and help us work through it. KnowledgeOwl is easy yet powerful, and I can go deeper and use more of it when I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Company to Work With"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

I really appreciate how the team at KnowledgeOwl is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They genuinely care about not only helping you understand the product but also ensuring your resources are effectively accessible to users. Their commitment to improving user experience is outstanding. I love that it's web-based, modern, and integrates AI into both the app and metrics, which helps get a better understanding of user interactions and supports making improvements. The interface is super easy to comprehend, and they're great at taking and implementing feedback quickly. Their AI chatbot is fantastic, balancing cost efficiency and accuracy while keeping data privacy in mind. I also value the ability to customize the look and feel of our support site easily, even for someone without coding skills, and how articles can sync across different knowledge bases. Overall, the support and functionalities make it accessible for anyone to use, which I find really valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

I don't have any dislikes about the product. They are constantly taking and incorporating feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Configurable Knowledge Base with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

KnowledgeOwl is highly configurable with robust privacy and access control, making it perfect for keeping content exclusive to active customers and segregating access based on reader groups. The platform is intuitive and easy to set up, even for first-timers, which made implementing our first knowledge base straightforward. The KnowledgeOwl team is very knowledgeable and responsive, accommodating our needs and helping us start with great support. Their platform's robust functionalities and support experience really stand out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

The article editing tool suite can be more robust. I'm used to tools like MS Word, Canvas, so I expected the editing tools to be closer to that level of editability. However, their current tools are already enough to create articles with a good reader experience. Something else I would love to see is a higher level of configurability for web design. It can have more design elements for admin users to play around with when setting up the knowledge base, though the support team is very helpful in the process already. For example, I would want the editing tool to allow image editing inside the platform while I'm editing articles. As a content editor, I want to edit screenshots while I create articles so that I don't have to switch to a different tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Incredibly Responsive, Customer-Driven Support"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

I really appreciate how user-friendly the platform is. You don’t need to be extremely technical to use it, but it still offers advanced capabilities that are great for more technical users. What stands out most to me is the customer support. The KO team is incredibly responsive and helpful, and they’re also open to requests for capabilities that are not OOTB. It’s clear they listen to customers and continue evolving the product based on real user needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

Writing articles can be a bit 'buggy', eg numbered steps can break when adding nested bullets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Customizable Help System with Room for Reporting Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

I love that KnowledgeOwl offers an easily maintained help system without needing help from engineers to maintain. It's great how you can customize it or use it out of the box, making it very easy to use. I also appreciate that it integrates with our product authentication, so our users don't need a separate login to use our help system. The initial setup was very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

The reporting isn't as flexible as we would like. I would like more information about the users that are using our help system and how they are using it. Making it more comprehensive and flexible - be able to select certain time frames, see which users are using which articles, etc. Direct integration with our support system would be very helpful as well. "KnowledgeOwl is AWESOME"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

KO is a robust and user-friendly knowledge management tool. My first time using it, I had a week to create 2 knowledgebases in a tool I had never used. I was able to accomplish this because the editor KO uses is similar to other tools I've used (SharePoint Designer, MS Suite, etc.). The ease of integrating KO into our company was really smooth, and it has been easy for new authors to pick up. We've been using KO for over 9 years, and the added features, functionality, and now AI components have been very useful. KO's previous search options were great, but they've now integrated an AI Chatbot that we've implemented on 2 of our KBases. Plus, their help portal has a vast amount of helpful content. I use KO every day and LOVE it! If I can't figure out how to do something, and searching their help portal or the internet doesn't help me, I know I can ALWAYS contact KO and their support teams ALWAYS reply & help me find a solution. I really cannot say enough wonderful & positive things about the KnowledgeOwl tool and its staff. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone looking for a KM solution. What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

In my opinion, there are NO downsides!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Knowledge Base Solution with Stellar Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

I use KnowledgeOwl as our main knowledge base for SOPs, policies, and latest updates. It's easy to access, customize, and use for both authors and readers. I appreciate the tons of new features that keep showing up. The supporting team behind KnowledgeOwl is beyond amazing, always there to answer and support, and always willing to go the extra mile. I like the AI chatbot that can cross-reference a lot of articles to find anything you're looking for and can even be custom built for different groups of readers or to answer in a unique way. Owl analytics provides unlimited reports for the entire site, tracking views, ratings, reader behavior, clicks, and more. I enjoy being able to custom-build my article and homepage with KnowledgeOwl using custom CSS/HTML codes. Also, they make it easier to connect the knowledge base with other tools, and their support is very effective. The initial setup was very easy, and they were there every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

I find the customized homepage and style difficult for non-coders like me, and it would be better if the interface could be simplified for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Collaborative, and Easy to Scale"
5/5
What do you like best about KnowledgeOwl?

It strikes the perfect balance between functionality and simplicity — robust enough to support complex documentation needs, yet intuitive enough that our team can manage it without constant technical support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KnowledgeOwl?

The WYSIWYG editor isn’t as familiar as tools like Word or Google Docs, so there can be a small learning curve for new contributors. Once users understand how it works, it’s manageable, but it may take some initial adjustment for teams used to more traditional document editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
