I've used them and another vendor in two separate scenarios and ended up paying for a product that makes your performance worse. When running in an A/B experiment as well as running ad units alongside each other, Hunch templates consistently performed worse. We were getting 30% less sessions, resulting in the same percent loss in sales/revenue as a result. Using their platform is a mess as you need to constantly check whether the ads were updated or posted correctly. Features/settings were not on par with the Meta platform, resulting in confusing campaign setting configurations. Quite frankly, performance was notably stronger when not running any form of creative templates (including Meta's in-platform). Through the Hunch tool, we were able to add dynamic fields to the creative, helping the creative be tailored to each area. The initial process was a little complex to set up, but the team at Hunch was always ready and willing to assist. The platform itself was very similar to Meta, meaning those with experience in the Meta platform would feel right at home when creating their first Hunch campaign. Overall, this was the best experience working with an outside vendor. I would highly recommend the platform to anyone looking to expand their media buying in the social space. **What do you dislike about Hunch?** The only critique of Hunch is the platform is very minor. The platform building flow is very similar to Meta, but a few workflows don't work quite the same. Hunch doesn't need to mimic the way Meta operates, but the similarity between the two platforms causes the workflow difference to be more prevalent when encountered during the building flow. **What problems is Hunch solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem Hunch is helping us solve is coupon creative showing up in markets outside the target area due to Meta's latest update to geo-targeting. Adding a dynamic field that allows the creative to feature the target market drastically reduced the rate of coupons trying to be claimed outside the target market (creating a more positive customer experience). We ran into some issues with the Meta catalog for a big client that we could not fix on META or with Channable. With Hunch we were able to fix it. Integration ran smoothly. Hunch team is really nice; they respond very quickly to our slack messages and are always willing to help out. First results for our client were pretty promising: +17% in clicks, +25% in sales and 24% lower CPA. Overall, we're very happy partnering up with Hunch! **What do you dislike about Hunch?** We've not been using Hunch for that long, so sometimes it's still a bit of a struggle with the templates and adding dynamic fields (like pricing, sale price) and mapping. If something isn't working, if we need extra insights, whenever we need to get more information or a demo. Everything we ask, we'll get a response within a few minutes to maximum an hour. **What do you dislike about Hunch?** There's some metrics and information missing in the platform. We can't get insights for example reach, the size of our target audience when setting up a new campaign. Also there's some more metrics/options missing within the overview such as comparing different time periods. And there's quite some errors occuring within Hunch as well, sometimes ads can't be created due to an error and then the error is quite unclear where it's going wrong. Sometimes refreshing the page works, sometimes it doesn't. **What problems is Hunch solving and how is that benefiting you?** It took quite some time to create new campaigns, but with Hunch this is going way faster. We're also looking into automating this process and using feeds to create (dynamic) ads for our local stores to generate more store traffic. We're also currently looking into automating/faster creation of our static ads with our design team. They already worked with the template creation, but hopefully we can also create static ads faster in the future for them.
