I logged in today and the first thing I saw was "Create an ebook." The process was so updated and the formatting, content amazing. Glad I didn't just sit this one on the shelf and think it outdated! **What do you dislike about Designrr?** The only downside was that in 2024 I was totally new to ebook making and there was alot to learn. But these updates to Designrr software are great! **What problems is Designrr solving and how is that benefiting you?** The size of this ebook is fantasitic. I had to save the cover and different portions of my book onto desktop and combine them myself as I had difficulty navigating how to put it into one file to submit to Amazon. **What problems is Designrr solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes my work incredibly easy by helping me to find the right verbiage to communicate my thoughts and feelings that I want to present to the reader of my materials. I paid the $27 "lifetime access" thinking I was getting access to the tool's core features, like importing a PDF and converting it to ePub or Kindle formats—basic things most authors need. But as soon as I paid, I was hit with an upsell for $97+ just to unlock necessary features. Turns out, to actually export to ePub, Kindle, or access most useful functions, you need to spend over $200. The dashboard makes it look like you can use these features, but they’re locked unless you upgrade again. This was not made clear to me before I paid. And worse, you can't even upload a PDF on the base plan, which defeats the whole purpose if you're trying to repurpose existing work. They only let you know about the needed upsells after you have already purchased the useless $27 plan. This is super shady This was not just disappointing—it was a waste of money I couldn’t afford to lose. I’ve spent months building and formatting my book and coaching materials, and I trusted this platform to help convert it. It did the opposite. I now have to start over and find something else, and my entire project timeline is on hold. I’m asking for a refund, and I strongly urge others to read all the fine print before paying. If you’re a writer or small business owner working with tight resources, be cautious—this tool is NOT transparent about what’s included. **What problems is Designrr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absolutely nothing. I purchased Designrr specifically to convert my already-formatted book (created in Canva) into an ePub or Kindle-ready file. It claimed to offer lifetime access for $27, but once inside, I learned that basic features like PDF import and exporting to Kindle/ePub are completely locked unless I pay another $97–$200+. That means the $27 version solves nothing. It doesn’t even let me upload a PDF—one of the most basic functions advertised. Instead of helping, it delayed my project and wasted my limited funds. I received no benefit—only frustration and a useless dashboard behind a paywall. ### 4. Has a huge library of royalty free templates. Really great. Honestly speaking, a professional designer would think why the hell he put all his initially years in getting trained on graphic designing. Auto reformating or global correct your pages in case additional text has been added plus auto pagination, no need to change numbers of each page separately. One the correction and elements have been corrected in one paragraph then all the further corrections are carried out automatically as per the set algorithm. ### 12.
