I use Bookedin for my tattoo shop, Mind’s Eye Tattoos, and have been using it for the last six years. It's a great tool because it makes it easy for clients to book in and for me to manage bookings and client information. I like the ability to organize appointments and how it integrates perfectly with my current website, allowing clients to book, reschedule, cancel, and manage their appointments. I can customize the options available based on time required for each tattoo, and it gives customers more options for booking. The initial setup was very easy too. I think an area that could be improved would be to allow customers to add pictures when they book in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bookedin seamlessly helps me keep track of scheduling, while also providing my clients text and/or email reminders and confirmations of their appointments. All of my client cards are in one spot and easily accessible. This software has kept me from having to track down clients who "forgot" their appointments, it's been a game changer. Bookedin does allow you to track payments made through certain platforms. I'd love to see added options to manually mark appointments as paid if a tangible payment has been submitted by the client, or perhaps they've paid through a different platform not tracked by Bookedin. It would also be helpful to be able to create a summarized report of your appointments at the end of the month or year to help with accounting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve been using Bookedin for 5 years and have never had a problem, the ease of use for me and my customers is Amazing and they love the reminders, when I added a second barber to the app the process was easy, and my customers love that they don’t have to download an app to book with us. The reason why I started using Bookedin was because my clients did not need to download an app to book with me. Bookedin features essential integrations such as videoconferencing (for example Zoom), payments (such as Stripe), and calendar (i.e. Google Calendar). They even offer recurring appointments. Their support team is always helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main reasons that I went with Calendly instead of Bookedin are:

Excellent customer service with friendly assistance. There is even an option to schedule help via phone or a zoom video appointment. They seem to consistently update features to meet customers needs. We love Booked In for our portrait studio, Robert Jacobs Portraits here in Seattle !! We love the integrated features, where the calendars prompt the clients by email and text for their upcoming appointments. We like that we can sync the calendars with google and apple calendars as well. This software is a timesaver. They also have fantastic customer service. The software is very intuitive.
