# What's the highest-rated time & attendance platform for companies managing 300+ shift workers across locations?

UKG Ready (4.4 stars, 2,629 reviews) automates hour tracking, time approvals, and time-off requests while its flexible pay rules engine handles complex scenarios like shift differentials and employees holding multiple positions, which matters once a workforce spans several locations with different pay structures.

Dayforce (4.2 stars, 961 reviews) brings smart scheduling that factors in employee availability and skills, specifically built to help managers reduce overtime and stay compliant automatically rather than checking rules manually for every shift.

And for those juggling different pay rules by location, how well did the platform handle that complexity out of the box versus needing custom configuration?

Time & Attendance reviews on G2 for large shift workforces treat multi-location as a design starting point for these three, not an add-on bolted onto a single-site product. UKG Ready's flexible pay rules engine, handling shift differentials and employees holding multiple positions,s is answering the pay-complexity half of the post's question directly, while Dayforce's availability and skills-aware scheduling is more focused on the labor-planning half, keeping overtime in check automatically rather than after the fact.
Bizimply's photo-verified clock-in eliminates buddy punching and fast cross-location roster creation, both of which speak to the operational side of running many sites at once, which is a different concern than either UKG's pay rules or Dayforce's scheduling intelligence. The post's own question about hitting a scaling wall the marketing didn't mention is the right thing to probe directly with a vendor, since a platform built around multi-location as a first-class case can still have an unstated ceiling somewhere between a few dozen sites and a few hundred, and that number rarely shows up in a features list.
