## AddEvent Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Event Management with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trish A. | Senior Marketing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I love how AddEvent is very simple to use and user-friendly. My whole team got on board quickly with minimal demo and instruction needed to figure it out. We've had great success with it so far, and I find the analytic portion very cool. It also helps us compare our registration list to those who've added the event to their calendar, ensuring we track numbers and registrations effectively. The initial setup was super easy, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. This was the first product we tried, and we loved it so much that we went with it. It wasn't a feature available on HubSpot, and AddEvent was the first I found to be able to use.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

nothing at this time

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent solves the problem of ensuring event attendance by allowing clients to add events directly to their calendars. It helps us track who has added events to their calendar, ensuring better awareness and registration tracking.

 ### 2. Effortless RSVP Management with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliet G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like how easy it is to keep track of invitees with AddEvent. It was really convenient to search for names of who was and wasn't coming. I loved how easy it was to customize the RSVP/Event landing page. The initial setup of AddEvent was super easy!

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I forgot to customize how many emails were sent out before/after the event. I wish I got a reminder to customize this a little bit closer to when the emails were scheduled to be sent out (referring to reminder emails about event and feedback email after event)

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent solved the problem of tracking RSVPs for our event. It was easy to keep track of invitees and search for names, and I loved how easy it was to customize the RSVP landing page.

 ### 3. Streamlined Webinar Signups with Easy Calendar Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I use AddEvent to allow signups for my webinar to add the date to their calendar, which helps improve the show-up rate. I appreciate being able to easily customize the links to share, as it speeds up the process for me to share them with my clients and makes me look professional while providing my customers with ease of use. I love having all the calendar links in one widget. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Being able to change or edit a recurring event. Right now you can't remove just one instance in a recurring event; it would be helpful to be able to just remove one date.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent improves my webinar show-up rate, allows attendees to add dates to their calendars, and speeds up sharing with clients. Customizable links and a single widget for all calendar links make me appear professional and provide ease of use for customers.

 ### 4. Streamlined Webinars with Calendar Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vy N. | Marketing & Design Intern at Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like using AddEvent because it's easier than using Zoom for creating calendar reminders for my webinars. I can control what links people see, making the process smoother. AddEvent works across Outlook and Google Calendar, which is terrific. Creating a shortened link is super helpful, too. I appreciate that the initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Right now, I don't think that anything could be improved, but if I can have a way of tracking, like, how many people click on my links and where they're coming from.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to create effective landing pages and calendar reminders for Zoom webinars. It simplifies the process and is easier than using Zoom's own tools, plus it works seamlessly across Outlook and Google Calendar.

 ### 5. Effortless Event Management, Perfect for Any Calendar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kira C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like AddEvent's easy-to-use UI. It's really easy for me to integrate events into calendars. I find it simple to get the link to send to people and also to get the embed code to put into the bottom and footers of my emails when I'm promoting an event. The easily embeddable links and code accessible to me make it really easy to add the event to my CRM, emails, and web page. It's great that you don't need any coding knowledge to use the product. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Sometimes it could be hard to figure out time zones or how to set time zones properly. So maybe that could be something to work on.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent solves the issue of adding events to various calendar types like Google, Outlook, and iCloud, and it provides automatic reminders with meeting location details, reducing the need for reminder emails or CRM management.

 ### 6. Effortless Calendar Integration with Room for Enhanced Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris G. | Brand and Content Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I use AddEvent to help people seamlessly sync event details to their personal calendars, which really helps prevent attendees from forgetting about the event and not showing up. I like its ease of use; it was simple to set up and easy to embed the code into HubSpot for our marketing emails. It didn't require any coding experience and was simple to integrate. There were no difficult integration workflows, just copying and pasting the AddEvent HTML code into our email marketing template. The initial setup was very simple and took about 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I would love to see more granular analytics. Specifically, the ability to track individual-level data to see exactly which registrants are saving the event ot their calendars, rather than just seeing total counts.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to help attendees sync event details to their calendars, solving the issue of people forgetting and not showing up.

 ### 7. Effortlessly Schedule and Boost Event Attendance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah B. | Binge Eating Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I love that it interacts with my calendar and others, making it super easy and convenient. It was seriously so easy, and I loved it! It came recommended to me by so many people.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I wish I had been able to color-code more things so I could see the different events.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to schedule my live workshops, which boosts attendance rates, reduces attendee confusion, and increases sign-ups. It's super easy, user-friendly, and integrates smoothly with my calendar. I will continue to use this for all of my events!

 ### 8. Consistent UX Across Calendars

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SJ B. | Brand Ambassador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like that AddEvent provides a consistent UX/GUI experience for both members and new visitors. It's adaptable and allows events to be added to various types of calendars, like Outlook and MS365, which solves the problems we had when using Google Calendar alone. The interface makes creating an event simple, including adding images and links. The ability to segment events by week is also useful since a recurring setup isn't ideal for visitors. Overall, the feel of the UX/GUI is relatively easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

(1) The active URL field/property isn't the best and feels a little clunky. Not being a coder, it's not the easiest to type out. (2) The footer - simply put, the person's account name/owner and their email should not be visible. It should be able to be edited or hidden. (3) Perhaps some additional fonts would be nice.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to maintain a consistent UX for events, easily add events to various calendars, and eliminate issues we had with Google Calendar alone.

 ### 9. AddEvent is incredibly useful and simple for our high-impact projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter C. | Customer Experience Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

AddEvent streamlines our entire event workflow, from creation to follow-up, while giving us full control over branded assets on our site. We rely on it for a key project that bridges our digital storefront with live video demos and sales calls, and the results have been impressive with increased engagement and revenue.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Certain months we did not use AddEvent, so the subscription felt like wasted spend. But overall, this was not a problem because of the low cost.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is simple to use, integrates smoothly with calendars, and embeds effortlessly into our web pages. Our team adopted it quickly with little to no training, which made implementation seamless. AddEvent has become an essential part of how we run and promote live experiences, and it continues to deliver consistent value.

 ### 10. Effortless Event Management with Broad Calendar Compatibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris A. | App Product Designer, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like that AddEvent is quite simple to use and easy to understand. Anyone who can create an event in Outlook or Zoom will find it familiar and straightforward. You just build your event, and then you can copy and paste bits into where you need them. It's nice and simple to use, makes sense, and is understandable. I also appreciate that it works across different calendar providers like Gmail and Microsoft Outlook, so no matter what technology someone uses, AddEvent will support them. It's great for letting clients see upcoming training sessions and easily add reminders to their calendars, making sure they don't miss anything.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I think the area I would like personally to be improved is their embeddable calendars. I've actually had some messages from the development team there. So I think there is some work due to be taking place, which might help me out there. But I would love to be able to embed my, to create, like, a customised and streamlined embeddable calendar where users of my system could see all my upcoming drop-in training sessions. Whereas right now, I have to create the sessions and keep copying and pasting from AddEvent's admin system over to my system. So that would be great just to stop some copy-pasting. If I could just embed a calendar in there, and it would automatically show the upcoming events. There is a currently available embeddable calendar, but it doesn't quite meet my needs and adds exrra complexity and clicks for end users which I want to minimise.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to simplify creating calendar reminders and RSVPs for events, ensuring attendees add them to their calendars and don't miss them. It supports Gmail and Outlook. It's beneficial for managing training sessions, allowing clients to add reminders directly to their calendars.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I love how AddEvent integrates seamlessly into our emails, making it incredibly easy for guests to add events to their calendars, which is crucial especially when we send out invites weeks in advance. This feature ensures the highest attendance possible for our events. The back-end features are a big plus too, allowing us to see how many people have added the event to their calendars, giving us immediate feedback and insights, which is very handy. We've found it easy to implement, and it's a feature that our constituents have really enjoyed. I also appreciate that AddEvent embeds events right into our guests' hands, making it a proactive approach in today's mobile-driven world. Overall, it's a simple and effective tool that has filled a gap we previously had, ensuring that our guests are well-prepared with all event details.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

AddEvent was very easy to use for our team, but I can see how implementing it could be difficult for someone who is less tech savvy. Perhaps more specific instructions, or even a visual step-by-step guide could be helpful for how to get the URL ready to use in your email.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to easily add event details directly to guests' mobile calendars, ensuring they don’t forget dates or locations. It provides valuable back-end insights like how many add events, boosting attendance and engagement.

Since we only use it every couple of months the price can be high for our needs.

I use AddEvent to allow participants to easily add events to their calendar for virtual summits, making it simple for attendees without high costs.

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

Easy-to-use interface that non-technical staff members are able to use for internal meeting reminders and RSVP requests.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Not quite as many integration and embedding features as I would like to have available, but it works at a good cost.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use AddEvent to promote and track attendance (or intended attendance) for internal meetings with our board of directors and related advisory committees.

**Official Response from Marissa Stone:**

> Hi Adam,

I like the ease of use of AddEvent, as it simplifies my tasks. The 'Add to calendar event creation' feature is particularly useful for me. The initial setup was very easy, which made getting started with AddEvent hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Creating and sharing events in email is limited. I would like more allowances than 100.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent for calendar invites, allowing members to add reminders for ticket sales easily.

 ### 28. Streamlined Event Management with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I honestly love how user-friendly AddEvent is. I think that being able to customize the description and the logo to really make it feel like my own is my favorite feature. The initial setup was very straightforward and took us less than five minutes.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I would love for there to be dark mode, although it's not a big deal.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent streamlines adding to calendar features, integrating seamlessly with our content pillars.

 ### 29. User-Friendly Event Scheduling, But Recent Update Confuses

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like the ease AddEvent provides for my customers. They can add the event with one click, which is really convenient. The initial setup was easy, too.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I do not like the latest update - it’s way more confusing and not as intuitive and I’ve accidentally scheduled things onto incorrect calendars.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent helps get people to show up via reminders and allows them to add events with one click, making it easy for my customers.

 ### 30. User-Friendly, Automated Event Management

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

I like that AddEvent is easy to use and free. I find the automated features particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

I didn't know the free version had a limitation on the number of people who could sign up. It was hard to figure out how to make the image right because of the dimensions.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent for event invitations, and it helps me gather people's name and email addresses through registration.

 ### 31. Clean, Easy-to-Use Tool for RSVPs and Calendar Adds

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Honestly, nothing. So far it's been pretty good!

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I also appreciate that it's automated with our website, so there's not a lot of managing on the admin side. The initial setup was incredibly easy!

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Nothing at this time!

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddEvent to simplify adding events to calendars, helping guests remember performances. It's intuitive, automated with our website, and requires minimal management from us.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

The interface can be a bit clunky and hard to find things.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

i wish i could use it directly in our event registration system in shulcloud/ wordpress so people can add to cal when they register.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

save the dates

**Official Response from Marissa Stone:**

> Hey there! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate it! We are thrilled to hear you've been enjoying AddEvent and we are helping with your save the dates!

I wanted to provide some suggestions for your request around WordPress. You can embed the Add to Calendar button or event widget onto WordPress using the HTML provided on the event details page. I've recorded a quick Loom for you so you can see how to get that set up: https://www.loom.com/share/e77f6df0a5444c6d8b60bf633c3838c8

I'm not familiar with Shulcloud but if they offer the ability for you to embed HTML or an iFrame, then you should be able to follow the same steps to get that implemented directly in your event registration system!

Feel free to reach out to our support team with any further questions you might have at support@addevent.com

Cheers,
Marissa

 ### 36. Simple, Easy-to-Use, Professional Layout

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

Simple, easy to use, layout is professional

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

non customizable link /short link to event

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to reach a broad network across platforms about our event

 ### 37. The Tool That Makes Events Seamless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

The ease of use for both ourselves as well as the prospects or attendees to our events.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

The naming convention of the two event types is a tad confusing - I've repeatedly found myself getting mixed up with whether something is an event add or part of a calendar so more clarity could be provided there.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing customer support tickets by allowing us to add links directly into events, and, crucially, update those links as/when they change.

**Official Response from Marissa Stone:**

> Hey there! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with AddEvent! We love to hear that our Add to Calendar links are help reduce customer support tickets!

In regards to your dislikes, we completely understand the event types can get confusing with the naming conventions, so we put together an AddEvent glossary that might be helpful if you're getting the different event types mixed up: https://help.addevent.com/docs/glossary

For additional context around events vs calendars, when you create an event, it will live on your AddEvent calendar. By default, we create a calendar for you, but you can always create additional calendars. If you only have one calendar, the event will be created on the calendar that exists in your account. If you have multiple calendars, the event will be created on whichever calendar is selected at the time of creation.

Additionally, when someone clicks the Add to Calendar button, that is recorded as an "event-add" whereas when someone subscribes to your Calendar, by clicking the Follow Calendar button that is recorded as a Calendar Subscriber.

I hope that helps, but if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@addevent.com

Cheers,
Marissa & The AddEvent Team

 ### 38. Super helpful customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

The AddEvent support team (thanks Thomas!) was extremely helpful and supportive in working with me to create the solution that I needed for my research.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Nothing - I have no notes to add here...

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am doing research and the nudge emails for the daily diary study were ended up in spam or getting caught in corporate firewalls. I wanted to integrate a calendar function so that my research participants could easily add their own reminders to their own work calendars to do my research survey over the next 10 business days. Thomas (thanks!!!) walked me through how to do this and the functionality of AddEvent. It was what I needed and now I hope that I will get more reliable and valid research data because my participants will do the daily follow-up surveys.

 ### 39. Great Calendar System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kealy C. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

Easy to use, simple view for external members! Really helpful support team if any issues ever exist, or if we need support!

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Some capablity issues with zoom repeated meetings, but there are work arounds.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business requires an easy way for our members to access member events calendar that updates whenever we add an event.

 ### 40. Underrated Easy Solution for the "Add To Calendar" feature on Marketing Emails for Events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tazoar A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

It's very simple and intuitive. I was able to set everything up on my own without much trouble. The simple easy-to-use, copy-paste feature for adding the "add to calendar" option on emails, was what we were looking for.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

The only complaint I have about it is that the "add to calendar" option is not properly working on MailChimp marketing emails when viewed on mobile. The google, apple, etc icons go very big and fill the entire screen without being responsive and adjusting the size automatically.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We host Mastermind Calls every week, and it's very frustrating for our users to receive email notifications every week with a Zoom Join link asking them to join. AddEvent provided the cool solution of being able to add a quick button on our emails so that readers can add our recurring Mastermind event to their calendars in just a click.

 ### 41. Reminders/Alerts does not work, if you need this function, stay away from this product

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2023

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

This was a very easy product to use and add to our email templates.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Unfortunately this products 'reminders/alerts' for events do not work in clients calendars. This is something they advertise that their product is capable of, but it's not.
We tried multiple times to troubleshoot this ourselves, with our clients and had no success. In fact, even when clients tried to manually adjust the events in their own calendars this failed.
We then contacted Addevent and their response was it was a problem with all the major calendars not their product.
...welp Addevent, if you make a calendar-add product that does not properly function in all the major calendars like google, outlook, apple, etc., then your product is useless.

So if you need alerts/reminders to function for the group you share the events with, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
Furthermore after explaining this to them and requesting a refund on the remaining 10months of our 1 yr plan, we were told no, the best they could do would be offer us a credit to use their service (which doesn't work) at a later date.
Um no thanks, keep the money and now other consumers can hopefully be aware of their failures before making similar mistakes.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they were supposed to solve the problem of housing multiple event dates/times in a single calender. Unfortunately this calendars alert/reminders function was paramount to what we needed to function properly and it did not work.

**Official Response from Marketing AddEvent:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to read that your expectations were not met with our product.

We understand the frustration you’ve faced with the calendar reminders and alerts all too well. Over the years, calendar services like Google Calendar have evolved, giving users more control over their reminder settings. While we do set event reminders, these settings are sometimes overridden by users’ local preferences.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We value your feedback, and it helps us improve our products and services. We remain committed to providing AddEvent users with a quality experience.

I’ve reached out to you personally via email to make this right.

 ### 44. Flexible Calendar Event Management System with Phenomenal Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles E. | Information Technology Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about AddEvent?**

It is easy to get events and calendars setup quickly. The customizable templates let you do pretty much anything and there is a simple API on top of that. Support took the time to send videos and had the best attitude about everything. There are over 1000 integrations and with the API it is simple to integrate your Calendars and Events with other systems. You can also pull events in with the API or by an ICS file which some calendars produce.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

Documentation is a bit limited but support is there to help. A tour of all the features would be helpful and the templates all in one place, which they said they are working on.

**What problems is AddEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddEvent has helped us move our calendar and event management off of our own site. There is a lot that goes into the development of a calendar, event page, email notifications, subscriptions, and add to calendar buttons. They've done the heavy lifting in developing and maintaining all the components and features along with accessibility, UX, and mobile layouts. With all of that, limitless integration, and a stellar support team, at this price point, it was an easy decision to go with AddEvent.

 ### 45. Simple & Effective

Our creative team has been able to unify the look and feel of the addevent experiences so that it is seamless with our email and landing page experiences.

**What do you dislike about AddEvent?**

They appear to be a small team so when you require service beyond self-serve it can be difficult to get in touch.
