It's really easy to use and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I like that there are different options to embed it how you need to, for example links, v pages v embed. I use it in conjunction with HubSpot and can easily make the button link to the code.

I didn't need to look up any help pages or videos to understand what I needed to do, it was very self-explanatory right from the start.

I found the dropdown to pick timezone is not very comprehensive. It doesn't find the timezones I want based on some words ie countries, and only works on very specific cities. For example, Australia did not come up for Sydney but it did for a much smaller Aus city. It doesn't seem to work as smoothly as other timezone dropdown lists in other systems.

I don't love that there are two steps for a user to add to their calendar ie the button opens up a list to choose what calendar you want. I understand why but I don't think most end users (businesses) 100% know which outlook or microsoft option to choose and some work better than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s a very user-friendly platform. It didn’t require hours of training or video tutorials to understand, and the setup was quick and easy from start to finish. We didn’t use a direct integration; our use case was simply tokenizing calendar invites for use in Marketo. So far, it has been one of the smoothest parts of the campaign we’re currently running. I honestly haven’t run into any downsides so far. AddEvent fits our specific use case well. If I had to point to something, it would be the lack of clear explanation around how the calendar process works for each email provider. For example, Apple and Microsoft use .ics files, while Google and Yahoo! rely on their own calendar systems. One confusing part is that there are separate prompts for Office 365, Outlook (App), and Outlook.com, and it isn’t clear whether AddEvent is actually doing anything different for those platforms or if it’s simply adding a UTM and calling it a day. I use AddEvent for event registrations and communicating with attendees, and it makes communicating with registrants an easy process. I appreciate the ability to share information easily by exporting data. I like the calendar sharing and creating, RSVP, limiting seats, and shareable links features.

I can also organize and communicate all the logistics of our events in one place, and I love the RSVP button that I can add to my Mailchimp campaigns. The user interface is better and easier to use, allowing everything to be in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that sometimes it's hard to get the 'see more' button to respond to attendees unless I edit the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm having a hard time customizing how the events look on the site. Customization is still code heavy which can be a challenge sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that AddEvent really is all in one. You can share invites, have an invite page, and collect RSVPs. That makes it easy when we have multiple events per month. I also like the multiple payment options. There is monthly, annually, and options for company size/usuage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think some things in AddEvent could be more automated or streamlined. For example, when using the social media sharing option, it does not automatically pull our logo and featured image from the event. You have to manually "set a design" to do that. It seems like there could be a simpler way to accomplish that. When I am clicking around on the AddEvent page, I should not have to go through so many different things to get to what I want. When I first pull up AddEvent, it should default to the event that is upcoming not past events and then I have to navigate to the current ones. Little things like that. I love how AddEvent is very simple to use and user-friendly. My whole team got on board quickly with minimal demo and instruction needed to figure it out. We've had great success with it so far, and I find the analytic portion very cool. It also helps us compare our registration list to those who've added the event to their calendar, ensuring we track numbers and registrations effectively. The initial setup was super easy, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. This was the first product we tried, and we loved it so much that we went with it. I like how easy it is to keep track of invitees with AddEvent. It was really convenient to search for names of who was and wasn't coming. I loved how easy it was to customize the RSVP/Event landing page. The initial setup of AddEvent was super easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I forgot to customize how many emails were sent out before/after the event. I wish I got a reminder to customize this a little bit closer to when the emails were scheduled to be sent out (referring to reminder emails about event and feedback email after event) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use AddEvent to allow signups for my webinar to add the date to their calendar, which helps improve the show-up rate. I appreciate being able to easily customize the links to share, as it speeds up the process for me to share them with my clients and makes me look professional while providing my customers with ease of use. Being able to change or edit a recurring event. Right now you can't remove just one instance in a recurring event; it would be helpful to be able to just remove one date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like using AddEvent because it's easier than using Zoom for creating calendar reminders for my webinars. I can control what links people see, making the process smoother. AddEvent works across Outlook and Google Calendar, which is terrific. Creating a shortened link is super helpful, too. I appreciate that the initial setup was pretty easy. I use AddEvent for my client’s webinar events as an online course creator and strategist. I like that it helps increase the attendance rate for webinars.
