
Their system is designed to take the burden off selling your product (or service) so you can focus more on your work. They are up to date with all legal aspects and can handle all payment-related taxes so you can sell practically anywhere in the world.
They have lots of currencies, supported payment methods, configurable pricing (subscription support which is the basis of our company), A/B testing, well-optimized templates for shopping carts and so on. It's one of the best payment processors out there as far as features are concerned and this is why we're still using them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their customer support used to be good. Sadly, the changes from Avangate to 2Checkout and now to Verifone took their toll on the quality of support. To give you some context, we've had major issues this year either with their API or their shopping cart and while their impact was noticeable, the resolutions were extremely slow.
It's been two weeks since invoice generation stopped working and our account manager simply ignores our pleas for help - with each reply acknowledging the issue and promising that they will address this urgently but it seems we have different understandings of what that means. Meanwhile, our customers are turning to us for assistance and we're stuck. Invoice sending through their control panel also doesn't work so all we can do is direct our customers to the 2Checkout support - which, from what we've heard, replies in a couple of weeks and is usually not very helpful.
The last time we had a major issue (which was concerning EU VAT validation on the shopping cart) it took 5 months to be sorted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
