## Bitdefender GravityZone XDR Reviews
  ### 1. “Powerful XDR Solution with Strong Threat Detection and Centralized Visibility”

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naincy G. | Accounting Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

What I like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR is its ability to provide centralized visibility across endpoints, identities, networks, cloud workloads, and applications in a single platform. The automated threat correlation and human-readable incident analysis make it much easier to investigate and respond to attacks quickly, even for lean security teams.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

One thing I dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR is that the interface and policy management can feel complex and overwhelming, especially for new or non-technical users. As environments grow, configurations and exceptions can become difficult to manage efficiently.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender GravityZone XDR is solving major cybersecurity challenges like fragmented threat visibility, alert fatigue, slow incident response, and difficulty detecting advanced attacks across multiple environments. It consolidates data from endpoints, identities, networks, cloud workloads, SaaS applications, and mobile devices into a single platform, making it easier to detect and investigate threats before they escalate.
The biggest benefit for me is the reduction in investigation time and operational effort. The automated correlation of alerts, human-readable incident summaries, and guided response actions help quickly identify root causes and contain threats without needing multiple security tools or complex integrations. This improves security efficiency, reduces false positives, and allows teams to respond to incidents

  ### 2. Clear, Easy-to-Understand GUI with Flexible Rules and Fast MDR Response

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | IT für KMU, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The GUI is clear and easy to understand. I also like the flexibility in the rules for customers (Richtlinien). The MDR service responds quite fast and is reactive when something comes up.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The complexity is quite high, but it’s manageable overall. The administration portal could also be more user-friendly and easier to navigate.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of endpoints and their security level, so a fast reaction is now possible when something looks off. The path of malware can also be identified, which makes it easier to understand what happened and respond appropriately.

  ### 3. Great NinjaOne Integration and Clear Protection Overview

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve S. | Director of Information Systems and Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender GravityZone integrates well in NinjaOne (our use case) and provides an excellent overview of the current status of protection for our workstations and servers.

There are many granular features within the policies that can be used and it did not take long for us to customize for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

In comparison to some of the other products the UI was not as intuitive and took a while to learn where certain features where as the labels were not obvious, i.e. to find the endpoints you must look under "Network"

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The performance of Bitdefender GravityZone is excellent, very rare have we encountered an issue with large resource consumption but in our cases that was due to in depth scanning.
The automated features are also great at remediating detected threats.

  ### 4. Easy to Install, Simple Policies, Excellent Web Filter. Antiquated interface. High memory usage.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Gravityzone is easy to install. The policies are reasonably easy to understand and very easy to maintain. Its web filter has been excellent and has prevented many greyware applications that evade other AV products we've used. It integrates with Halo for notifications in a decent fashion but needs a little more work to be easier to maintain. Sandbox reports are fantastic for finding

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

1. Agents don't show the serial number of the device anywhere in the console. C'mon guys! Gotta get some more details like that in here for those of us who manage hundreds of devices!
2. The layout of the console could use some refining. It's not well organized and features we have no intent on using can be in the way. The way EDR events are displayed is not nearly as clean as SentinelOne and feels outdated. Overall navigation needs some help.
3. The search requires you to put exactly what the item you're searching for in at the beginning. If you have a customer called Jacob Smith's Widget Factory, and you search for Widgets or Smith, or Factory you're out of luck! If you search for Jacob, it'll find it fast. This is lame.
4. Memory usage is alarmingly high (think 2gb regularly!). This is mitigated by the fact that you can tune it on systems that are resource constrained. Unlike most other software I've seen that uses large amounts of memory, Bitdefender has played nicely in the sandbox and hasn't caused too many performance problems.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender is doing a great job at stopping greyware, adware, and malicious websites before things get too out of hand.

  ### 5. Flexible, Feature-Rich Security with Easy Cloud-Based Administration

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Flexibility in packages, configuration, and the overall feature set. It includes IDS/IPS, content filtering, phishing protection, AV, and other more advanced features. Cloud based UI allows for easy administration with tiered policies.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Configurations can get complicated and bloated over time, especially as more settings and exceptions accumulate.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility and management of antivirus across a diverse fleet of workstations, including both macOS and Windows.

  ### 6. Centralized Security Made Easy, Needs Inheritance Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Motti S. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I appreciate the ease of use of Bitdefender GravityZone, which makes managing antivirus and security across our full client base straightforward. I also like the ability to remove the application from the central dashboard, which is a beneficial feature for streamlined management. Additionally, the capability to monitor antivirus and security from a central location is quite handy.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Inheritance can be a little clunky. It shouldn't automatically wipe out any current settings.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitdefender GravityZone for managing antivirus and security across our client base, allowing me to monitor AV and security from a central location.

  ### 7. Efficient and Manageable with Light Footprint

some feature should need to purchase as Add on

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bitdefender GravityZone XDR for collecting telemetry data. It provides a single dashboard to segregate logs, making it easy to manage. The agent is lightweight too.

  ### 8. Solid Protection and Options, but Recurring False Positives

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

NinjaOne integration. Offers a reasonable degree of protection/prevention. Setup is flexible offering many different features and ways to set them up. Can be set up to operate quietly and out of the user's way.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

NinjaOne integration options are slim. I've encountered several false-positives around NinjaOne's script running, which seem to recur even after whitelisting. I can't get it to send email notifications. License management can be tedious.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protection from malware and prevention of unwanted access.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I like that Bitdefender GravityZone provides strong protection without noticeably slowing down the system The centralised dashboard makes it easy to manage multiple devices, and the real-time threat detection works reliably in the background

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Occasionally, the updates require a system restart, which can be inconvenient during working hours The initial setup process also feels a bit complex for non-technical users The firewall module in Windows relies on the built-in Windows Firewall, which limits advanced control Additionally, the update process sometimes fails or requires multiple attempts, and occasional restarts can be disruptive during work.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bitdefender GravityZone in our banking environment to safeguard systems from malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks. The centralised dashboard makes it easier to keep track of all branch endpoints, push security updates, and respond quickly to any alerts. It’s helped us maintain compliance and reduce the risk of security incidents without adding extra workload.

  ### 16. Confusing Product Mix with Little Support

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I love the integration and the dashboard for management. Menus are confusing though, and you're hit with ads for other products instead of information when you first enter Gravity Zone.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

It's a very confusing product mix. We moved to GravityZone for small-business, thinking it would do more for us. Turns out the less expensive, dedicated Small Business portal is actually better, and includes VPN and mobile device management. VPN is not even available with Gravity Zone, and adding mobile devices is expensive.

Impossible to get a sales person though, as they priritize home users (which get both phone and chat support) over their business users. Business customers need to send in an email and wait up to 48 hours for a reply. Seems odd to me that they provide more support for individual users than their higher paying business customers, but what do I know?

The product is easy to install, but challenging to manage. I had to uninstall it just to print from my local printer. Finally figured out how to configure their firewall for printing, but have not yet figured out how to tell the system I am on a protected network, not a public one. Nothing, so far, seems to be able to address that and support, as mentioned, is minimal at best.

Also, the cost to add mobile devices on Gravity Zone is expensive, so we have had to keep Norton on those. Strangely, their dedicated Small Business portal pricing includes them.

Have used the product frequently since installing and it is very powerful, but we may end up switching after the dissapointing lack of product support.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small business with servers and devices we are keeping safe as well as being complaint with security required by some of our enterpise customers.

  ### 17. Bitdefender GravityZone is amazing for small security teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender GravityZone is the perfect solution for small teams like us. The maintenance is low as the platform is running on managed cloud-based infrastructure. The level of integration and automation, in the scope of a XDR, is great. With all information, including EntraID and other sources, pulled into one incident report it makes it straight forward to work on alerts. Last but not least we cover all layers of endpoint security in one product, which again makes it easy to manage features and configuration.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

It took us a noteworthy amount of time to find the perfect confiuguration for endpoints of developers, as they handle large mounts of small files daily in their build-routines and repositories.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender EDR and XDR cover all our layers of endpoint security in ony tool. The easy maintenance and efficient, integrated incident handling makes it a perfect tool for us.

Antivirus for remote clients to ensure fast and effective definition updates and remote insight

  ### 22. ease of management, security and very complete reports

protection for machines and servers

  ### 23. Bitdefender: My Favorite Antivirus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nic C. | CISO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

When I was in school, we had to do a project about which antivirus was the best one based on a logical set of criteria. I made mine the most stringent, and I chose to test bitdefender. Bitdefender goes a step further than a typical IDS, it really acts more as an IPS. The test I ran that sealed the deal for me, was a simple port scan. I kept trying to run a port scan on my home network, and my linux laptop kept getting DOS'd. When i traced the packets to figure it out, it turned out the bitdefender agent running on my gaming computer had detected the port scan on the network and launched its own counter-attack by sending out massive packets of random data to the scan source, in this case my laptop. After i watched the consumer (home) version of bitdefender DOS my own laptop, I fell in love. It took a couple of years, but eventually i was able to push for GravityZone here at Elsewhen Technology, and last year we made the switch from sentinelone. Bitdefender is unequivacolly better than sentinelone, and I sincerely feel that the only reason sentinel is viewed as so good is because their marketing team is stellar, while their product is horrendous. Bitdefender listens to me when i put in an exception, and it includes more features at less than half the cost.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

There is a bit of a learing curve when it comes to configuring the policies and exceptions.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender is providing robust and flexible antivirus services for our business and our clients.

  ### 24. Does what it should.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Sometimes the console is messy and things are complicated to find, but not for everything.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Find potential risk elements in company's infrastructure.

  ### 25. BitDefender is reliable

The Features offered were great, with the network firewall, antivirus, reporting features, scan features and the ease of use and integration into our tech stack as an MSP is great.

Keeping all endpoint security needs in one central location has made myjob easier

  ### 26. reliable software and resource-saving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthias N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Easy view between all customers or just specific ones. Very pleasant as an admin

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The administration view is confusing and not well organized. A step by step sequence would be better here, so you jump from point three to five then to one and at the end to ten and then create a new customer and provide them with profiles.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An overview for all customers; if necessary, problems can be addressed directly

  ### 27. Antivirus with good Reporting

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting
Block the USB
Block the malicious websites
Block self-signed certificates

  ### 28. Solid Endpoint Security based on Extensive Innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike G. | Volunteer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Gravity Zone has been our A/V solution for both internal and client use since 2011. The platform is easy to navigate which makes onboarding and managing client endpoints super simple. As a company, Bitdefender is big on innovation and is consistently improving the product by performance as well as product enhancements. The platform's modularity means it can be configured to teh specific needs of our end users. Where many A/V solutions introduce significant performance impats to teh end user experience, Bitdfender Gravity Zone is lightweight, uses a single agent into which components plug into, and presents no significant performance hit to the end user.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

We are still optimistic that the Bitdefender Dev Team will make the Risk Analysis report more effective (allow for both an organization as well as single/ grouped endpointand inclulde it in the report bundle. CUrrently the risk reporting tool is very limited in scope.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware and EDR services to our endpoints under management (approximtely 300).

  ### 29. Solid antivirus

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

the UI portal is hard to get around. Once you know how to navigate it, its not the worst thing in the world, but it leaves a lot to be desired. it is dificult to train new employees on

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a low cost small business solution to antivirus

  ### 30. Bitdefender Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael F. | Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Today, Bitdefender is an easy-to-understand tool, where we can visualize and parameterize it in an easy way and with surprising results.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

What you don't like about Bitdefender GravityZone is the reports part, it could have more options, more possibilities to create custom reports, and thus better visualize the protections. and also have the encryption option just like the competitor.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to protect information and use of my company's networks, controlling access and information, open or transmitted

  ### 31. Might not be the best

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Ease of install, Even eaiser to remove.
I appreciate how I was able to create and download a link personalized to each client company. I could move each of the client Company folders to the SOC or wherever else I needed it to be. When I launch the installer the endpoints went to the loacation I created even when things were moved after the install link was created.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Very disappointed at the complexity of configuration, if that is even possible. Unable to print in a small office environment with devices running in WORKGROUP mode.No exception found in WEB UI or in device console.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product has pointed out a plethera of misconfigurations, trojans, malware that were on devices. Long term I will have to see as the product was removed due to configuration issues where the client is unable to print and/orscan.

  ### 32. Bitdefender is a great ally in the detection and blocking of malware, although it consumes high performance.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian P. | Security and Investigations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender is an excellent option for protecting your device against malware, as it uses artificial intelligence to identify and eliminate cyber threats. Additionally, it offers additional features such as a sandbox that allows for generating detailed reports and protection against ransomware attacks that can recover a significant amount of encrypted files. As if that weren't enough, Bitdefender is easy to install on your devices, making it a convenient and practical option for keeping your information secure.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Although Bitdefender is an excellent computer security tool, on some systems it can affect performance by consuming a considerable amount of RAM. It is possible to observe an increase in RAM usage as more security modules are added. In some cases, Bitdefender can use more than 600 megabytes of RAM, which can slow down the system.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender is an essential tool for protecting the company against malware thanks to its advanced detection and blocking with artificial intelligence. Additionally, from the management console, you can monitor the security status, perform analyses and create detailed reports, manage installation on different devices, and send infected devices to quarantine. These features make it a great defense for the company, providing reliable and effective protection against cyber threats and allowing efficient monitoring and management of security throughout the organization.

  ### 33. Specifically in a fleet of Macs, it's functional but not exceptional

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender provides excellent protection overall and since our company operates in the healthcare space, its reporting tools are very useful from a compliance perspective.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

As someone who appreciates good Mac software, Bitdefender is not particularly good Mac software. A significant portion of the features only work on Windows and have no Mac equivalent. Also, as someone very familiar with Mac systems admin practices, Bitdefender doesn't adhere to any usual Mac standards doing things like placing important files in nonstandard system locations. Further, Bitdefender does not seem committed to keeping up with changes at Apple, sometimes taking months or longer to fix something that Apple broke in an innocuous macOS update. While I empathize with their situation, any seasoned Mac developer should expect this from Apple and be ready to respond. Bitdefender does not do this well and has let several working features break with no fix in sight because of changes that Apple made that they never responded to.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As one of our company's compliance requirements involves having antivirus and antimalware software on every user endpoint, Bitdefender serves that purpose. To its credit, it does the job of virus and malware protection successfully, but in my mind, it doesn't do it in a way that I find easy to manage.

  ### 34. Extra Secure - Bitdefender

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashwin K. | Lead, IT Desktop Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender has wide features of PC protection and browsing security shield. It can filter and block the unwanted websites. It also provides a shield of security with the links in emails.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender could have been better if they have provided more reporting option of the devices.
Providing more features like remotely customizing the security options of the laptops.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitdefender is solving our issues with cyber attack, spyware and virus. It has also provided an edge by giving the security cover for links or URLs that we receive in the emails.

  ### 35. Powerful Protection for Your Digital World

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Bitdefender consistently receives high marks for its detection rates, effectively identifying and blocking malicious threats to keep systems and data safe. Advanced features like behavior-based threat detection, web filtering, application control, and endpoint detection and response (EDR), which enhance security capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Like any antivirus or security software, Bitdefender GravityZone may occasionally flag legitimate files or applications as malicious, resulting in false positives. While false positives are a common challenge in the industry, it can still be frustrating for users.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GravityZone enables administrators to implement web filtering and content control policies, ensuring that users adhere to acceptable usage policies and protecting against malicious or inappropriate websites and content.

  ### 36. Excelent Antimalware Tool, with cloud management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulises G. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The web console is excellent because we can find a lot of information about your endpoints' security posture.
The integration is easy, so we can quickly deploy the security agents.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I think some menu options were complicated, but once you interacted with the platform, it was easy to use.
Maybe can improve with more simple menus.
I think that they can improve with personalized reports.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy integration, fastest protection and deployment.
Excelente web console with complete info can help us monitor and identify security incidents.
The security agent didn't affect the performance of the endpoints.

  ### 37. Terrible UI and UX

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

There is a good possibility that it does protect well against viruses & malware.
However, the UI and UX is very bad; there are stupid false positives, useless risk suggestions, incidents shown are not clear and hard to understand.
Because of all this, I cannot even be sure that the AV is effective.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The UX and UI is almost the worst it can get; configuring it and navigating within the dashboard creates so much frustration!
Also, their support is terrible and hard to access.

The dashboard shows vague numbers and security percentages whose meaning is questionable, and there are no straightforward ways to mitigate them.
For example - it always reports the Chrome browser installer as malware because it uses Powershell to install. What is the only mitigation? Blocking Powershell altogether!

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe the AV solution is pretty solid and it has some web-blocking capabilities and endless features which appear in the configuration UI...
So yes, on paper, it has many features but in reality it feels like they added many redundant, useless and unreliable components.

  ### 38. Very good system defense software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

One of the best things a bout Bitdefender GravityZone is the sandbow analyser which lets you put a file or a link into it and it will run the program or website to track what happens in a safe environment

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I find the policies section difficult to navigate and difficult to apply different exclusions for the antivirus

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us with having an antivirus which can detect and quarantine harmful programs whilst also allowing us to exclude ones which are wrong

  ### 39. Lots of power, lightweight AV

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

BitDefender deploys very easily across organizations, and GravityZone lets me have quite a bit of control over the security posture of my customers' devices. I can monitor a lot more than JUST malware hits, and that helps me do my job.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Honestly, I haven't found anything I dislike about BD/GZ. It does what I expect it to do with little difficulty.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote management/security monitoring, paired with Rocketcyber, allows me to have a pretty decent grasp on the security posture of my customers' endpoints.

  ### 40. The best solution at the Endpoint level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The management console is very intuitive and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Really, the solution so far has seemed very good to me.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The entire security topic at the Endpoint level across all the protection layers it has.

  ### 41. Good but a few snags

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The ability to link into our Active directory.
Being able to deploy the software to machines from the Web page.
Policies can be easily edited and distributed immediately.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The online forum is awful.
The UI is confusing compared to previous incarnations.
The amount of different things they have that all essentially do the same job.
Not being able to use the Web blocker on a terminal server with multiple users seems like a massive oversight
The mobile app can only be used when the phone is connected to the work network and you must use an on prem server. Which is inconvenient and clunky.
Mobile app is also very difficult to setup and requires alot of interaction from an admin

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it works it is providing essential AV capabilities and a last line of defence against viruses and incursions/attacks on the network.
It does however throw alot of false positives so can have a negative impact on performance.

  ### 42. A month wasted and still it's not working.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James F. | CEO | Marketing Automation Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The marketing positioning or rather con!

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Everything about the platform & support. The product lacks a correct support and onboarding process.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitdefender GravityZone XDR:**

Don't touch it. We were forced to buy via a partner, we ended up with a licence for 3 years on the assumption the product actually did what marketing said it does. Unfortunately, the reality was a product that didn't meet the requirements, a support team who didn't help and took DAYS to respond. Ultimately providing the business with greater risk than before.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We aimed to solve the challenge of a remote workforce who need extra online protection. What we go was 1 month of frustration, a support team who are scared to get on the phone, who overlap each other and don't provide any useful guidance.

  ### 43. Good endpoint protection, but features could be better compared to other available solutions.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego M. | Systems Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Effective and thorough endpoint protection.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Endpoints would routinely disappear from the panel or would appear as offline. Price was another reason we moved to Webroot's solution. For the price, we felt we got more from Webroot.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitdefender GravityZone XDR:**

If you're considering them, see if GravityZone is a match for your organization. For the number of licenses we needed, we felt a better value was available by switching to Webroot's endpoint protection. While we don't like that Webroot is OpenText-owned, the product is good.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting servers and workstations within internal networks as well as remote endpoints.

  ### 44. Bitdefender works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

We like the monthly billing based on actual usage. It is easy to manage the groups and profiles when working with many customers or departments.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

It is not quick and easy to get a status of where potential issues are located. Navigation requires going through several layers of menus to get the information.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to deploy and manage a large number of endpoints across many customers.

  ### 45. One of the most robust and modular NGAV's out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Modular control of everything from device controls to scan frequencies. Reports are easily setup to email directly to clients for their peace of mind and shows BDGZ is working as it should

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I do not like how the UI can be difficult to learn.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offering a robust NGAV is essential these days. The price and features makes this an easy sell.

  ### 46. more protective and trusted firewall for an OS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveed A. | Infrastructure Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Central portal provided by bitdefender really stands out. It's easy to install software. It automatically shuts down the OS Fw and takes it over.
Every machine can be managed from a central portal.
Policies can be established and assigned to all or individual machines.
Feature of providing weekly reports in email.
Graphical representation is a nice way to understand user's IT habits provided in centra portal.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Sometimes it blocks legit VPN connections. Central portal should have more options.
Bitdefender should be integrated with SSO and user should be given a way to see his activites.
There should be a more easy to drag and drop applications in the portal.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitdefender GravityZone XDR:**

Everyone should try this Endpoint firewall for once for their organization.
It really blocks all maligned web content and spam or virus softwares to run in background.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using this in our company of around 500 employees.
Every machine has it installed. It gives error for any malware installed or any virus downloaded or accepted from USB.
Central portal provides a clear way of managing machines and which machine is running a harmful software.
you can apply different policies to different machines eg. remote vs stationary machines.
Bitdefender gives the opportunity for real time detection.

  ### 47. Very happy with BitDefender Endpoint Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike Z. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

BitDefender has a very intuitive and feature rich management console. Also easy to deploy and easy to configure policies.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Inability to see the username associated with a computer name of a protected endpoint.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Company wide reports for malware detection and insuring all clients are protected.

  ### 48. Fairly sufficient A/V solution with frustrating interface and management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Network Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Easy to deploy and manage from endpoints. Good protection. Good on-access scanning.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

Terrible dashboard and administrative GUI. Navigation is cumbersome. Unable to quarantine or manage endpoints directly from admin console.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently implemented for malware protection, EDR support, and threat management.

  ### 49. Worth every cent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rommel L. | Sr IT Suppport, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

I like this app for the following features
- Easy to set up
- Big help for securing devices
- Available any time and every kind of device
- Easy to manage by Admin
- Easy to troubleshoot whenever there is an issue
- Can custom folder, device, or link restrictions
- Can integrate with any Operating system
- Documentations available on their website
- Active community whenever you have questions or FAQ
- Support available 24/7 for business accounts.
- Policy can attach with AD OU
- Great infographics
- Easy to pull out records, logs, or reports

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

The thing I don`t like about this app is when you need to re-install, you will be needing to remove everything even going to Safe mode just to ensure there will be no remnant files that will cause installation failure.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized infrastructure monitoring, Intrusion, and detection features, up to the latest cyber attack updates

  ### 50. BitDefender

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

GravityZone gives you a central interface from which you can manage your licenses, updates and installations. It is convenient, and two-factor authentication makes i secure.

**What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?**

BitDefender's GravityZone is not easy to navigate. Finding computers requires multiple clicks of the mouse. Reports are not easily available and not truly customizable. Some of the default options are irritating. For instance, access to network printers is disabled by default.

**What problems is Bitdefender GravityZone XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After installing BitDefender GravityZone, our instances of cryto-lock dropped to zero. No users have had any issues with viruses.
