## 1Password Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable and Effortless Password Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinita B. | Sales And Marketing Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I mainly use 1Password to store and manage my passwords so I don’t have to remember them all. It makes logging into websites faster and gives me peace of mind knowing my information is secure. It solves the problem of remembering multiple passwords and reusing weak ones. I no longer worry about forgetting logins or compromising security, and I save time because everything autofills instantly. I like how simple and reliable 1Password is. It just works in the background, autofills logins quickly, and keeps everything secure without needing much effort. The browser extension integrates smoothly with sites I use daily, and it works well alongside my usual productivity and work tools without any issues. Setup was quick and simple. I was able to get everything running without any issues. I would definitely recommend 1Password because it’s reliable, easy to use, and makes managing passwords much more secure and convenient.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

There isn’t much that I dislike, but sometimes the mobile app can feel slightly slower to unlock compared to the desktop version. Also, it can take a little time to explore all the features at first, especially for new users.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to store and manage my passwords, saving me from remembering them. It solves the issue of password recall and reusing weak ones, and it speeds up logging into websites while ensuring my security.

  ### 2. Simplified Security, Professional Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luigi P. | Bussiness Developer Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password because it allows me to create and store passwords securely and share them with my work team. I like its easy access to all my passwords through the vaults, which makes it easy to share quickly in a professional manner among the team. It is a very useful tool with an easy-to-use interface, which allows me to manage my passwords more effectively and securely. 1Password doesn't get in my way, it gives me peace of mind and works when I need it, making password management no longer a daily concern. The initial setup was super easy, thanks to the instructions and the SS Key document that have saved me in case of problems.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I think there are too many options for the basics, for example, if you want to save a password at the beginning, it can be more complex than necessary.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to create and store passwords securely and share them with my team. It provides easy access to passwords, generating trust and professionalism in the exchange of information.

  ### 3. Simple, Secure, and Efficient Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password keeps all of my passwords for work and personal use safe, and it also auto-generates secure passwords for new websites and new logins. I like that it's easy to navigate and very simple to use. The UI is clean and unobtrusive, which saves me time when I have to create new accounts for work. I trust that the password generated is secure. It overall streamlines my workflow because I don't have to worry about where my passwords are saved or how I log in (SSO, via Google, email, etc.), because it remembers that info too. I appreciate that the setup was very easy since it was already installed on my computer by IT. I would rate it a 10 out of 10, and I would use it on my other personal devices as well.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes it doesn't save the correct URL so I have to go into the app and make sure that the login URL is correct, especially on sites where we have a specific company branded login URL. Maybe it could be more clear which URL it is saving when you agree to have it save your password, and perhaps you could have an option to update that yourself. Maybe this feature exists already and I just missed it.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to keep all my work and personal passwords safe and generate secure passwords. It saves me time by streamlining new account setups and remembering login info, enhancing my workflow.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

  ### 5. Effortless Password Management but Needs Multi-Step Login Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adil V. | Shopify Design Agency, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for creating, managing, and sharing passwords with my family. I like that I don't need to worry about creating and remembering strong passwords because all my passwords are stored securely in encrypted vaults. I also really appreciate the password autofilling using passkeys and two-factor authentication, which means I don't have to use multiple apps to log in. Most websites and apps just autofill and log in effortlessly. The initial setup was smooth, and I've been using 1Password for more than 10 years, even before it became a subscription or cloud product.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Some websites have multi-step logins where the username or password fields are not filled as a result. It would be great if 1Password could improve on identifying fields that are for username/password and other field data like name, address (including dropdown state/country), and phone number. Especially where state or country is a dropdown field, these don't always get prefilled by 1Password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to worry about creating or remembering passwords, they're stored securely in encrypted vaults. Password autofilling and two-factor authentication mean I don't use multiple apps to log in, most websites/apps just auto-fill and log in.

  ### 6. Effortless Security with 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Customer Success Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really like how effortless 1Password is to use. It helps me stay secure without slowing me down, and the autofill feature is super smooth. The password generator is great for creating strong, unique passwords in a second, which removes the temptation to reuse the same password everywhere. I love having everything organized in one vault, making it so much easier to manage. It also works across devices, so I'm never stuck trying to log in when I'm away from my laptop or phone. The initial setup was pretty easy and seamless too.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes Autofill gets a little confused when a site has multiple login fields or a weird sign-in flow, requiring manual selection of the right saved item. Search and organization are good, but once your vault grows, it might take a second to find the exact entry if everything isn't consistent. Nothing major, just a small friction.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password as a personal vault, storing logins, generating strong passwords, and autofilling across sites to solve too many passwords issues. It keeps my info secure and organized, while quick autofill makes logging in easy and saves me from resets and lockouts.

  ### 7. A Must- Have for Everyday Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed M. | Information Technology Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

The best thing about 1Password is how simple and stress free it makes password management. Instead of remembering dozens of complex passwords or writing them somewhere unsafe, I just remember one master password and everything else is securely stored.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

1Password is very secure, but that also makes it a bit strict. If you forget the master password, recovery is difficult. The pricing is also slightly high compared to other password managers. Sometimes the browser auto fill doesn't detect a few websites, so you have to manually copy and paste the password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the problem of remembering multiple passwords and using weak or repeated passwords. It securely stores all my logins in one place and generates strong passwords automatically. I don't have to reset passwords frequently, which saves a lot of time.

  ### 8. Effortless Password Management with Seamless 2FA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank K. | Founder / Head of Strategy and Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for managing my passwords and as a 2FA application. It helps me seamlessly access all my passwords and effortlessly generate complex passwords for websites. I love the seamless 2FA it offers, as I can just click the 1Password icon, and it automatically updates the OTP/2FA Code. The password sharing via link option is another feature I love, especially because it's really helpful when friends or family need access to certain applications—I can simply generate a link to the password for a week. I also appreciate the 2FA modules and how passwords are grouped for various individuals, which is really helpful within our organization. The password generator is fantastic because it helps prevent me from reusing passwords for all my accounts, leaving me feeling secure about my logins. The initial setup was extremely simple, as everything was organized within the organization account, and people just needed to log in using their email credentials.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Nothing to dislike really..

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me seamlessly access and generate complex passwords, offers seamless 2FA integration, allows password sharing via link, and organizes passwords in groups for easy sharing within my organization. It also includes a password generator, preventing me from reusing passwords and enhancing security.

  ### 9. Centralized and Secure Credential Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that 1Password allows me to manage all my development credentials, including API keys for services like Stripe, OpenAI, AWS, and staging and prod environment passwords, centralizing everything in one place without the need to hardcode or use txt files. I value the vaults separated by project because it greatly facilitates organization; each client is in their own vault without mixing, which is very orderly. I enjoy the integration with the browser, especially the autocomplete in the browser, and how easy it is to share credentials securely, simply by adding people to the vault instead of sending keys via Slack. Additionally, the initial setup of 1Password was quite simple, as the migration was straightforward with the importer and in no time I had everything up and running.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes synchronization takes a little while between devices, and the desktop app consumes quite a bit of memory.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to centralize my credentials and share them securely, avoiding hardcoding and txt files. With vaults separated by project and browser integration, I improve organization and quick access. I also save time using autocomplete and manage access without sending keys through Slack.

  ### 10. Simplifies Password Management, A Few Pitfalls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess W. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that I can use 1Password on my phone and also use the desktop version on my Mac. I also like that each individual team member has a different login, which allows us to have private passwords. I find it convenient to use it for both my work and personal passwords because I've got two types of security, one at work and one personally. The initial setup for 1Password was really easy, and I could teach my fellow team members how to use it. I haven't heard any complaints. The ease of use and cost are definitely incentives for recommending it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The one annoying thing I find with 1Password is there's a few different account types like 1password.com, 1password.eu, and I believe 1password.ca. And for whatever reason, I somehow signed up the business account with 1password.eu. Not being in the EU, it's not intuitive to me to log in to 1password.eu, and so that could be improved.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password stops me from writing passwords in a notebook, updates across the team, fills information automatically for convenience, and reduces typing errors.

  ### 11. Effective, Trustworthy Password Manager That Keeps My Logins Safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

It's a really nice, effective password manager. It does the job well, and has established a lot of trust as a brand that gives me confident that my log-ins are safe within it

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I have multiple 1pass accounts (work and personal). It can be a bit annoying that they have different auth requirements (touch id vs Okta). Once I'm logged into my personal one as well, when encountering log-in UIs, it will often say "no items found" rather than encouraging me to re-auth with my work account which does have an item for the site.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a simple and secure way to store log-ins for accounts I use, as well as to share credentials with colleagues.

  ### 12. Secure Password Management Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen S. | Food Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I love using 1Password for personal use because it helps my family manage access to our many accounts. It allows me to create complicated and hard-to-guess passwords that feel secure without having to memorize all of them—it's like a vault for all of my accounts. It's simple, safe, and convenient. The app is easy to use and it's easy to share with my husband. I also think the interface is user-friendly, even for someone not very IT savvy. The initial setup was very easy, which was a plus for me.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Having to manually enter accounts is cumbersome, but I'm not sure what a solution would be - I cannot think of an alternative option.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me create secure passwords without memorizing them, acting like a vault for my accounts. It's simple, safe, and convenient for family use, with a user-friendly interface that's great even for non-tech savvy people.

  ### 13. Effortless Password Management with Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I find 1Password extremely helpful because it consolidates all my logins in one place, making it easier instead of dealing with multiple different logins for all the technology I use like Google Calendar, Salesforce, and Outreach. I love the ease of use; it's simple, has a friendly, easy-to-use interface, and is very convenient. I didn't even need to read a manual or look at any YouTube videos to get started, which was nice and friendly. In terms of simplicity, it's just not complicated, so anyone can get the hang of it relatively easily.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The only thing I would say is having to log in to it. And then reload all of my tabs can be a bit annoying.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password consolidates all my logins, saving me from writing passwords in a notebook. It saves time and provides peace of mind by eliminating tedious searches every time I'm logged out.

  ### 14. Accessible and Secure Password Management

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like 1Password because I can access it anywhere on my computer, phone, and watch. It's in sync, which means I don't have to worry about remembering passwords. The initial setup was very easy, and there was a helpful onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes it asks every fourteen days to put in your password. Seems a little bit too excessive. I understand why they're doing it, but it would be nice if I could change this.

**Recommendations to others considering 1Password:**

Good and safe password management.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to manage hundreds of strong, unique passwords, store two-factor authentications, single keys, and important documents like my driver's license and credit cards. It's accessible everywhere, keeps everything in sync, and prevents me from worrying about remembering passwords.

  ### 15. Effortless Password Management, Ultimate Ease of Use

I like 1Password because it's super easy to use and makes logging into all my accounts effortless without needing to write down or memorize passwords, which saves time and keeps things more organized. The existence of such services really makes managing passwords easier and safer, especially in a work context. I appreciate how quickly I can access logins with just a few clicks, making it convenient for both me and my workmates, as they don't have to memorize additional passwords. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, it's a very useful tool. I have no complaints at all.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Nothing to dislike about 1Password, really.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a HUGE time saver.

  ### 17. Solid password manager, does what it promises

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jetro C. | Full Stack Designer and Animator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Honestly the browser extension is a lifesaver. It fills in passwords automatically and I barely have to think about it. Also having everything synced across devices is super convenient.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The price is a bit steep honestly, especially for personal use. Sometimes the autofill doesn't trigger on certain sites and you have to do it manually, which is a bit annoying.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to reuse passwords or remember them. Before I was using the same few passwords everywhere which is obviously not great. Now each account has a unique one and I don't stress about it.

  ### 18. Securely Share Credentials and Info—No More Sticky Notes

I have to say, I absolutely love 1Password. It’s one of those tools that quietly makes life easier every single day.

They work flawlessly across both Chrome and Safari, instantly auto-filling passwords and forms. The whole experience feels completely effortless.

All my passwords are stored securely and sync perfectly across all my devices, which saves me a lot of time and stress. I no longer have to search through notes or click “forgot password.” It just works—simple, smart, and dependable.

The time I save and the frustration I avoid make this one of those tools I truly can’t imagine working without.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

  ### 24. Effortless Setup and Strong Security

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

An amazing tool that truly simplifies and speeds up my daily work, especially in tasks that require managing multiple accounts across different platforms.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I like everything about it; the only issue is that it logs me out during the day, so I have to log in multiple times.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me log in quickly to different platforms, so I don’t need to rely on Excel files or remember all my passwords. We also use it in the company for shared demo accounts, allowing multiple users to access the same profile. This makes it much easier to manage accounts across the team.

  ### 26. 1Password: Secure, Centralized Password Management with Easy Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

We use 1Password for secure, centralized password storage and sharing, and it has become the standard password management solution for our IT team. Onboarding is straightforward, and multi-device access makes it easy to use across different systems. It brings autofill, passkeys, and 2FA storage together in one place, and it also works with SSO. Another helpful feature is trusted device recovery, which allows the IT team to recover accounts if something goes wrong.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Secrets still require manual rotation by teams, which creates ongoing overhead. We’re also dealing with the added burden of access governance. Overall, it’s not ideal for automation.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to address the problem of scattered passwords and insecure sharing, which has now been eliminated. It centralizes organization-wide onboarding and access management, and it provides Entra ID SSO integration for stronger identity governance.

  ### 27. 1Password makes you focus on what matters

I really the Vaults feature. I can separate different work tools credentials into dedicated vaults and share them only with the team members who need access. I also like the Biometric authentication in the app, my finger gives access to everything and is simple to use.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes the software tries to save "one-time passcodes" that I don’t actually need to store, which requires a bit of manual cleanup. But other than that it's great.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves remembering so many different passwords and makes it easy to store them in Vaults for different purposes

  ### 28. Great Password Storage with Easy Browser Access

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Great place to store the passwords for all of my workplace and even personal apps. Easy access from the browser.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

It updates frequently and but doesn't auto-update so we get frequent notifications from our IT team that an update is available and we have to quit and wait for the update and then the app restarts.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safe place to store passwords rather than in the browser. Complies with company security standards and practices.

It solves the mess of people storing passwords and sensitive info in random places. With 1Password, you just use one app and everything else is safely stored there - logins, notes, documents, whatever you need. The team can access what they’re supposed to, without sharing passwords over Slack or email, and it just works in the background without much effort.

  ### 30. Effortless Credential Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya S. | Growth Manager - Outbounds, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like 1Password for its ease of integration on login pages, which makes it really convenient. Since I use multiple tools and can't remember all the login credentials, 1Password fills in the credentials as soon as I'm on the login pages, making it easy for me to log in. The initial setup was easy, and that was a plus too.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I face issues sometimes if I change the password, it doesn't get updated automatically. If there is a password change, the tool should update the new password automatically without me having to do it manually.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password for storing credentials and sharing them with team members. It solves the problem of forgetting passwords and fills in credentials on login pages, making it easy for me to log into multiple tools.

  ### 31. Unmatched Security and Effortless Features—A Premium Password Manager Worth Every Cent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Teja C. | Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What I like best about 1Password is its rock-solid security and clever features that just work.
The dual-key encryption (master password + Secret Key) plus Watchtower's proactive alerts for breaches and weak passwords give me unmatched peace of mind. Travel Mode is a genius touch for hiding sensitive data on the go, and the seamless autofill, built-in 2FA, and secure sharing make daily use effortless across all devices. It's premium, but the polish and privacy focus make it my top choice.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

What I dislike about 1Password is its paid-only subscription with no free tier, making it pricier than options like Bitwarden. It requires cloud sync (no local-only option), limiting privacy control, and occasional autofill glitches can frustrate on some sites. Still great overall, but not ideal for budget or offline-focused users.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the hassle of managing dozens of strong, unique passwords and the risks of reusing weak ones. It benefits me by letting me remember just one master password, auto-generating and filling secure logins across devices, and alerting me to breaches via Watchtower. This saves time, boosts security, and makes online life stress-free!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I appreciate how 1Password combines strong security with ease of use. I’m not great at remembering passwords, so having a secure, centralized place to store and manage them is incredibly helpful. At the same time, it gives me confidence knowing that sensitive information, including customer credentials, is protected by robust security standards. It simplifies my day to day workflow while maintaining a high level of trust and protection

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

At times, the autofill feature doesn’t activate automatically, which requires me to manually select the correct password or sign in again. This can slow things down slightly, especially when moving quickly between tools or accounts. That said, it’s a relatively minor issue, and overall the experience is still very positive. The browser application in particular is easy to use, intuitive, and makes managing passwords much more efficient day to day.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, 1Password solves the challenge of securely managing sensitive logins, especially customer credentials tied to our platform. Knowing that customer logins are stored and shared in a secure way gives me real peace of mind and allows me to do my job confidently without worrying about security risks. It also saves time and reduces friction in my day to day work, since I don’t have to remember or manually manage passwords while still following strong security best practices.

Being able to store everything in one app—passkeys, recovery keys, two-factor authentication, and more—has made our business much more secure. It has also made it easier for us to collaborate with other employees.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The autofill feature for forms isn’t as good as Google Chrome’s native version. If I have both turned on, they end up fighting with each other, so I just stick with 1Password’s less capable option.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me use unique passwords and adds more security, and I can share them across teams when needed.

It's very helpful when upgrading from one piece of equipment to another, ensuring everything remains intact. It keeps things separate yet accessible, which is important when working with multiple partners. Also, initial setup was very easy, and once all pertinent information was input, it was easy to continue and maintain.

1Password allows me to save time, no longer remember or write down my passwords, and share them with my team.

  ### 42. Secure, Fast, and Cross-Device Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

It turns 1Password from a storage tool into a proactive security monitor, automatically scanning saved logins against known data breaches and flagging compromised or weak passwords, as well as highlighting where two-factor authentication is needed.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The autofill isn't perfect on some websites and mobile apps, especially with multistep logins. Occasionally, it doesn't detect fields correctly. The UI changes over time can feel slightly disruptive if you're used to a certain workflow. Also, while the security is excellent, the pricing is higher than some competitors, which may be a deal breaker for some.

Another feature I find useful is the ability to share a login with someone by sending them a secure link, making it easy and safe for them to view the information.

I also like the WatchTower feature, which helps me identify any compromises on the web. It shows me if my data or passwords have been leaked from an organisation that has been hacked, so I can quickly change them and keep my accounts secure.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I honestly haven't encountered any real downsides. If I had to mention something, it would be that it's not the most affordable option out there, but at the same time, you do get what you pay for.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really appreciate knowing that all my logins are secure, and that I only need to remember a single password, or alternatively use the passkey feature or biometrics.
