Seamless use in a browser and desktop app. Very intuitive for first time users and not at all difficult to learn the process. Perfect features and functions for SMB and Enterprise levels. Performance is great across extension and desktop app, very interchangeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

Unable to shared security tokens with one-time shares with is a minor handcuff when dealing with external developers. I'm not sure what AI features are present, unaware of offerings. Overall, there are not many items that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy-to-Use Password Vault With Seamless Sync and Breach Alerts"
5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

It provides a complete set of tools to safeguard passwords, tokens, secrets, and other information about the services and tools I use. I can also securely store software license keys that we buy. The UI is excellent because it’s easy to use and works everywhere—across every browser, and on desktop and mobile alike. It performs reliably and synchronizes seamlessly. The price is fair, and its latest features help keep my account secure by warning me about potential breaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On long lived browser sessions spanning over multiple days, the plugin can become a bit slower to pop-up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Easy-to-Use Password Manager Across All Devices"
5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

What I like most about 1Password is how well it balances strong security with ease of use. The interface feels clean and intuitive, autofill works reliably across my devices, and features like Watchtower, shared vaults, and passkey support make it practical for both personal use and working with a team. I also appreciate that it makes advanced security tools feel approachable rather than overly complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

One downside of 1Password is its subscription-only pricing, which can feel expensive compared with alternatives that offer free tiers or one-time purchase options. Some users also find the newer interface a bit heavier and more complex than older versions, particularly when they want quick, local-only workflows or more advanced customization. "Intuitive, Reliable Account and License Tracking at a Reasonable Cost"
4.5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

A good way to generate and track details about accounts, logins, and license keys. I have been using it for over a dozen years. The cost is reasonable compared to others and the features it provides. The interface is intuitive, and if I have issues, help is available. I have never had performance issues with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

Sometimes it attempts to save login information without the username. It should prompt for this field or the password field if they are empty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

Sometimes the interface can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. There are also occasional small delays with autofill or syncing across devices. Additionally, pricing may be a bit high for smaller teams compared to some alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Password Manager with Minor Drawbacks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

I really appreciate the autofill experience in 1Password; it's more than a minor convenience, as it saves time and reduces friction for complex login workflows. I also love the Watchtower security monitoring feature—it helps with monitoring for breaches, auditing reused passwords, and sending alerts about two-factor authentication and expired documents. The seamless cross-device sync is fantastic, as I use 1Password across my MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and Windows work laptop without any issues. The clean, intuitive interface and the password generator are great too. I value the company's trustworthiness and strong security reputation. It's truly convenient for making secure notes and sharing team credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

So firstly pricing is no longer competitive this is my biggest frustration. Then the browser extension occasionally hiccups. So sometimes it works perfectly but sometimes there are some issues. Then there is no free tier. OK then also there's no desktop app that can feel heavier sometimes. Then iOS autofill reliability, so occasionally sometimes it fails to trigger in some apps or Face ID along occasionally requires multiple attempts before successfully filling credentials. Then migration and import experience of the different credentials is kind of hard. Apart from that customer service response is also kind of late if I'm not using the paid subscription. "Secure integration and easy management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

I think it's great how simple 1Password is designed. The app helps me a lot in easily and clearly identifying reused passwords, which is a great support. The Tower provides me with a good overview of which of my credentials are really secure. I also greatly appreciate the easy integration of 1Password into our ETL processes and the secure storage of my professional passwords. I find it positive that the setup of 1Password is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

In some applications, I have more than one account. Sometimes I am asked if I want to overwrite passwords or save them separately. The button for overwriting is designed in such a way that you sometimes accidentally press it. Even with more than one login level in an application, 1Password always asks if you want to overwrite credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"1Password’s Intuitive UI, Seamless Sync, and Proactive Watchtower Security"
5/5
What do you like best about 1Password?

1Password stands out for its clean, intuitive UI and consistently smooth user experience across both desktop and mobile. Navigation is straightforward, and features like autofill and quick access significantly reduce friction in daily workflows.

From an integrations standpoint, it works seamlessly with major browsers like Chrome and Safari, as well as tools commonly used in professional environments. This makes it easy to incorporate into an existing workflow without disruption.

Performance has been excellent—logins sync almost instantly across devices, and I’ve rarely experienced lag or downtime. The reliability is especially important when accessing credentials on the go.

In terms of pricing and ROI, while it’s not the cheapest option, the value is clear. The time saved from password resets, combined with enhanced security and reduced risk of breaches, makes it a worthwhile investment—especially for professionals and teams.

Support and onboarding are also strong. Setup is quick, and the interface is self-explanatory. When needed, documentation and customer support are responsive and helpful.

Lastly, features like Watchtower add a layer of intelligence by proactively identifying weak or compromised passwords. This turns the tool from just a storage solution into a proactive security assistant, which is a major advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

While 1Password is a very polished product, there are a few areas that could be improved. The UI, although clean, can sometimes feel slightly unintuitive when navigating between multiple vaults or searching for less frequently used items like secure notes or documents. A more streamlined navigation or smarter search categorization would improve efficiency.

In terms of integrations, while it works well with major browsers, deeper native integrations with certain enterprise tools and platforms are still limited. Expanding compatibility with more business and productivity apps would make it even more valuable in a professional environment.

Performance is generally strong, but there are occasional delays with autofill recognition on certain websites or mobile apps, which can interrupt workflow. Improving consistency across all platforms would enhance reliability.

From a pricing perspective, it may feel slightly expensive for individual users, especially when compared to some competitors offering similar basic features at a lower cost. More flexible pricing tiers or bundled features could improve perceived ROI.

Support and onboarding are good overall, but more interactive onboarding (like guided walkthroughs or contextual tips) could help new users unlock advanced features faster.

Lastly, while features like Watchtower are useful, there’s room to expand AI-driven insights—such as more proactive recommendations or automated password hygiene actions—to make the product feel even more intelligent and hands-off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
