Having used the product for structured data databases, this reviewer finds it effective and reliable. It would be better if it had a lite version or took up less space on the PC.

"Fast, Convenient Day-0 Setup with a Well-Patched OS Baseline"

3/5

What do you like best about 1-Click SQL Server 2019 Standard Edition on Windows Server 2016?

The prebuilt image usually starts from a reasonably well-patched OS baseline, which feels safer than a random manual install. It also aligns well with common cloud automation patterns: you can spin instances up and down quickly, and scale by switching instance types. Overall, it’s fast and convenient on Day 0. The biggest downside is Day 2 operations: after deployment, you still need serious DBA/ops work (backups, monitoring, patching, security hardening, performance tuning) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The learning takes longer due to the lack of best practices present in the documentation. The 2017 version is more preferable by the developers due to its longer shelf life, stability, and considering a good balance between the existing and new features added.
