Ruta

Ruta is scheduling, crew dispatch, and billing built only for lawn care, landscaping, and snow — not a general field-service tool with a lawn care skin on it. Crews run the day from the phone: clock in, take the photos, mark the visit done. The app works without cell signal and uploads when the bars come back, in English or Spanish. The office sees the visit as it happens. Every stop records GPS arrival and departure against the actual property line, so if a customer calls you are not guessing — you can replay the route for any past day, with the photos attached. Billing runs off the visit, not a spreadsheet. The card on file is charged the moment the job closes. Tax is calculated per city automatically, and you can batch-charge a whole route at once. ACH is available. Turf, rock, and mulch areas get measured up front so pricing is not a guess, and snow jobs record actual snowfall against the ticket. Customers sign in to their own portal with a text code, no password. They add services, see photos from the visit, and do not have to call the office to find out if you came. The inbox texts customers and crews, translated both ways. Campaigns send one text to the right group of customers. Unsubscribes come off the list on their own. Every plan includes unlimited crews, users, and customers. Pricing is based on crew count, not seats: $250 a month for 1–2 crews with 250 monthly texts, $750 a month for 3+ crews with 2,500 monthly texts. Card processing is 3.99% + 30¢. ACH is 1%, capped at $25. There is no free trial and no per-user fee.

Ruxia

It combines scheduling, location tracking, activity logging, and performance measurement in one interface. GPS trails and photo verification document activities, while integrations connect with CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot, mapping tools, and payment processors.
