How it works

WorkTrac

WorkTrac is offline-first field service management and workforce management software built for blue-collar field crews in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, delivery, and many more. It connects the two halves of a field business in one system: a mobile app for the crew on the job site, and a web dashboard for the office. What sets WorkTrac apart is that the field app works fully offline. Crews can clock in, capture job-site photos, send messages, and file OSHA safety and incident reports even in basements, tunnels, and rural areas with no signal. Everything queues on the device and syncs automatically the moment they are back online, so no time, photo, or report is ever lost. For time and attendance, WorkTrac provides GPS-verified time tracking with geofencing, so the hours on the timesheet match where the work actually happened. From the office dashboard, owners and managers run shift scheduling and dispatch, projects and budgets, job costing, estimates, and invoicing, with one-way export of invoices and customers to QuickBooks Online. Approved time can be exported to payroll providers including Gusto, ADP, and Paychex. WorkTrac also includes a cryptographic, tamper-evident work-proof chain that signs every clock-in, photo, and safety form on the device, so records cannot be edited after the fact. These records hold up under prevailing-wage audits, OSHA inspections, and billing disputes. Additional capabilities include a client portal, a subcontractor portal, multi-stop route optimization, an equipment registry, a skills passport for certification tracking, heat and air-quality safety alerts, and SOS alerts for lone workers. Importantly, WorkTrac is not an employee-monitoring or screen-recording tool. GPS is captured only while a worker is on the clock, never off hours, and direct messages and the anonymous grievance channel stay private from managers and admins. The work-proof feature protects the worker as much as the contractor, proving they showed up and did the job. WorkTrac runs on iOS, Android, and the web, with the same offline-first sync across every surface. Pricing is modular and month to month, so businesses only pay for the features they use. WorkTrac is built by Happihack Studios LLC in the Portland, Oregon metro area, and is live now on the App Store and Google Play.

WorkWide

WorkWide is a mobile workforce management and field service management platform built for businesses that run teams outside the office — technicians, cleaners, drivers, security officers and inspectors working across multiple sites, often in areas with unreliable network coverage. It brings the entire field operation and the customer relationship around it into one platform, so operations managers, dispatchers and account managers all work from the same live picture instead of chasing updates across phone calls, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. On the operations side, WorkWide covers job and task management, scheduling and dispatch by skill, availability or location, GPS tracking and route optimisation, and asset and inventory management, giving managers one real-time view of every site, every technician and every job. The mobile app is offline-first: field teams keep working with no signal at all, and every job card, photo and signature syncs automatically the moment a device reconnects, so nothing gets lost to a coverage gap — something that matters in the industries WorkWide serves most. On the customer side, WorkWide manages the whole client relationship: contracts, SLAs, renewals, case handling and billing all live in one record, with a client portal that lets customers track job progress and log requests themselves instead of calling in. That combination of field execution and customer management in a single system is what lets WorkWide clients report higher task completion rates, better on-time delivery against SLAs, more tasks completed per field worker, and lower fuel and running costs. WorkWide is used by field operations across facilities management, telecommunications, security, healthcare and broadcasting, and integrates through open APIs into the ERP, finance and ITSM systems clients already run.
