Hey G2 reviewers, this one is for teams where more than one person answers reviews. I am looking at which review management software genuinely supports team collaboration on review responses, meaning several people can collaborate on what goes out without stepping on each other.
The mechanics that matter: assignments, approval chains before a response goes live, shared templates, role permissions, and a trail of who replied to what. Three platforms in the review management category anchor my comparison:
- Birdeye (4.7, 4,205+ reviews): reviews route to owners through assignments and approvals, and its AI-drafted responses queue for human sign-off, so collaboration is built into the response flow rather than bolted on.
- Reputation (4.5, 2,465+) (formerly Reputation.com): built for multi-location teams, with responses routed by location and role, which is the collaboration problem at its hardest.
- Sprinklr Social (4.1, 1,215+): a social suite rather than a dedicated review tool, but shared-inbox collaboration is its home turf, and its assignments, approval workflows, and permissions carry straight over to review responses.
If you could test only one thing in a trial, the approval chain or shared-inbox assignments, which one reveals more about how these hold up when ten people respond?
Oh for teams actually splitting the response workload, the multi-location reputation platforms are what you want. Birdeye is the highest-rated big one here and it's built for teams handling reviews across many locations, and Reputation is the other heavyweight in that same multi-location, role-based space. Both are geared toward assigning, routing and approving responses rather than one person doing it all. One honest note, I'm going on their category positioning and strong ratings here rather than a deep read of individual reviews, so I'd confirm the exact collaboration bits you need in a demo, things like response assignment, approval workflows, and per-user permissions, since those vary by plan. How many people and locations are you coordinating responses across?
Hello G2 folks, picture a Friday at 9pm: a one-star lands on Yelp, another on Google, and nobody notices until Monday. That gap is what I am researching: which review management software can genuinely monitor customer reviews across Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Yelp, and whatever else your industry lives on, from one dashboard?
Comparing review management software, three approaches stand out:
- Birdeye: monitoring built around exactly this, spanning Google, Facebook, and a long tail of industry review sites, with alerts firing as reviews land rather than in a weekly digest.
- Reputation (formerly Reputation.com): multi-location monitoring across Google, Facebook, and vertical sites like healthcare and automotive directories, pulled into a single feed with location-level ownership.
- Sprinklr Social: a social suite rather than a dedicated review tool, which cuts in its favor here, since Facebook is native ground and review sources join the same monitored inbox as social mentions.
- EmbedReviews: the lightweight option, collecting Google and Facebook reviews into one feed, best for teams who mainly want everything aggregated and showcased in one place.
The question behind the question: which review platform do these tools quietly miss for your industry, Tripadvisor, Healthgrades, Zillow, and did a monitoring gap ever force you to add a second tool?
The Friday night one-star scenario is way too real. What gets me is even with a monitoring tool, someone still has to be the person who checks it on a weekend, the software doesn't remove that human bottleneck. I'd rather know which of these actually has decent mobile alerts than which one covers the most review sites.
Hey G2 reviewers, researchers, and category folks who cover review and reputation management, Trying to nail down which platforms in the Review Management Software category are actually rated highest for online reputation, based on real user reviews rather than a vendor's own marketing.
- Birdeye: 4.7/5 (4,050+ reviews), the largest review base of this group, with reviewers citing consistent scores across ease of use, automation, and support.
- Reputation: 4.6/5 (2,375+ reviews), with reviewers highlighting real-time monitoring and sentiment analytics as the reason its satisfaction has held up across a large volume of reviews.
- ReputationStacker: the highest moderation and response scores in our Grid data, worth noting it also has a much smaller review base than the other names here.
- Okendo: leads this category's Grid on overall G2 Score (82), with strong reviewer validation and response-type scores, though it's built specifically for Shopify-based e-commerce rather than the multi-location, in-person business reputation this question often implies.
Podium is another name that comes up often here, it's rated well too, but it's G2-categorized under Online Reputation Management rather than this category specifically.
Which of these actually earns that rating in practice, and which one's rating looks better on the category page than it feels day to day?
I’d put more weight on how quickly teams can detect, route, and respond to negative reviews at scale. The strongest platform in practice is the one that turns monitoring into a repeatable response workflow, not just a reputation dashboard.
