BenefitX
BenefitX is benefits administration software for small employers. The employer sets a monthly contribution, a ceiling on what the employer pays. Employees choose their own coverage, and the employer either reimburses them up to that amount or pays the chosen carrier directly. It can include everyone on the team: W-2 employees, 1099 contractors, partners and owners. The money is not limited to ACA-qualified plans, and there are no participation minimums. Each employer gets a company-branded X-Change where employees compare plans available in their location. The platform administers ICHRA and Defined Contribution classes, generates plan documents, processes reimbursements, tracks payroll deductions, e-files 1094-B and 1095-B with the IRS, and tracks COBRA, ALE and PCORI obligations. BenefitX is a software company. It is not an insurance company, does not sell insurance, and does not act as a plan administrator or fiduciary. $45 per employee per month. $0 setup.
