Yardstick
Yardstick is the Applicant Tracking System for humans and agents. It is an interview-led hiring platform where teams create job-specific interview plans, run consistent interviews, collect scorecards, and turn hiring evidence into better decisions. You find out who can actually do the job. Yardstick designs an interview guide for each role you are hiring for, so every candidate has the same important conversation and gets rated against the same written evidence. By the debrief your team is comparing what candidates showed rather than who remembers what. Start from a draft instead of a blank page. Yardstick uses AI to build role-specific interview plans, questions, and scorecards with written anchors, shaped by the kind of hire you are making. Your team edits the draft before anyone uses it with a candidate. Your own agent can operate Yardstick, inside your approval gates. Yardstick ships a public API, a yardstick CLI, and an MCP server on every account. You chat with a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex, or a general assistant connected over MCP, and it prepares the work for you: opening jobs and moving candidates for your approval, drafting interview plans, importing from an existing ATS through a dry-run you approve before anything is written. The agent prepares, you approve. Yardstick also runs built-in agents of its own: hosted, standing, and single-purpose, each configured from a catalog with a preview you confirm. Each one has a job and a destination. One chases missing scorecards, sending reminders to the interviewers who owe feedback and escalating as needed. One screens new applicants nightly, preparing rejection drafts and holding them for a person to review. One preps interview kits, assembling the candidate, role, and session context an interviewer needs before a session, reading your schedule without changing it. One prepares a panel decision brief, synthesizing completed human scorecards into one starting point for the debrief. One keeps candidates informed, finding interviewed candidates still waiting and preparing a follow-up draft for review. The rest of the hiring stack is here too: a Talent CRM with talent prospects and talent pools, multi-step outreach sequences where a human approves the sequence before any send, a hosted job site for inbound applications, and Cal.com and Calendly scheduling. You pay for active hiring, not headcount. Your first 3 Jobs are free. Paid plans bill per active Job, with no seat charge for interviewers or hiring managers, and no lock-in.
