"PhotoShelter Makes Managing and Sharing Creative Assets Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

PhotoShelter is incredibly easy to use and makes managing, organizing and sharing creative assets fast and efficient. The platform is convenient and saves valuable time, especially when working with large volumes of photos and video. Its user-friendly interface makes finding and accessing assets simple, helping streamline workflows and improve collaboration across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

While PhotoShelter is easy to use overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The search and filtering tools could be more intuitive, especially when managing large volumes of assets. Some organizational features could also be more flexible to make finding and managing content even more efficient. And pricing can get up there quite a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A central photo library that helps us turn assets into revenue"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

What I like most about PhotoShelter for Brands is how easily searchable galleries, keywords, and shareable links fit into our day-to-day workflow. Having all our photos in one central library makes it much quicker to find the right images and share collections without having to send large attachments. One unexpected benefit has been rediscovering older content we can reuse, which helps us get more value out of shoots we’ve already completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

One frustration I’ve run into is the extra step required to share content with guests. In our current setup, it seems like guests need to create or use an account just to access what we share, which adds unnecessary friction when we simply want someone to quickly view or download photos. A more straightforward guest-access option would make sharing with external people much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Photoshelter is a great way to organize your photos across your team!"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Having one place to keep all our photos for the Arboretum that can be shared with all staff members is awesome. We used to use a simple folder system to store our images and it took so long to find images. Now I love that I can use the search feature and find specifically what I am looking for within seconds, without going through a ton of folders. I have had one-on-one calls with someone on the development team who listened to my problems and helped find solutions for me. I have never had that level of customer support from an online service. I use photoshelter weekly! I love the workspaces which are kind of like working folders that you can share with people on your team, external designers etc. I am constantly making them and using them for projects. What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

With the change over to the new Lumin system, I am still getting the hang of a few things. Specifically, filing images is taking me a long time but I have been working with the custom support team to find ways to make this system faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Comprehensive Asset Management Solution for Enterprises"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I appreciate how PhotoShelter for Brands offers a great interface to manage digital assets effectively. It allows me to categorize and organize assets and seamlessly share them more broadly. The platform solves the issue of managing contributions from multiple creatives by allowing them to input data for the same organization and facilitating easy sharing for review and distribution. I like that PhotoShelter for Brands is comprehensive and expandable, which means its features like video, live streaming, and video review can be explored as we grow our digital asset collection. For now, its ability to handle numerous contributor uploads and its strong organization and categorization capabilities are crucial advantages. The ability to have multiple managers with various degrees of administrative control, and to review assets directly within the platform without needing to export them to another system, is a huge advantage. I also find the ease of use and migration very seamless and enjoy the powerful interfaces with AI tagging tools and batch editing capabilities for keyword management, which greatly aid in our workflow. Overall, PhotoShelter for Brands is, in my experience, a best-in-class tool for managing, uploading, tagging, organizing, and distributing digital assets on an enterprise level. What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

We'd like to see the ability to add real-time review notes to video and have those reflected back to the editors. Something like timestamp notations, similar to what other video management solutions like Vimeo offer, would be helpful for reviewing video files and making comments so editors can easily reference them to make corrections in real time. "A Refined, Professional Portal for Showcasing and Organizing Campus Marketing Work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

As the Marketing and production team for our campus, it provides a refined and professional portal and user experience for us to store and promote all of the work that we do to cover events, programs, and Marketing intiatives with our internal and external communities. What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

The unfortunate climate that we experience, of late, is that Photoshelter is already a great tool that doesn't need additional levels of prompting or AI tools. It stands alone as a highly effective repository and the meta tagging allows for a powerful organizational and research possibilities without the constant update/reminder/annoyance of prompts. It's that simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smart AI Search and Effortless Drag-and-Drop Uploads with PhotoShelter"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I really like the AI/intelligence PhotoShelter offers. It helps our College quickly find images that might not have specific metadata attached to them. I like the ease of upload as well, that I can just drag and drop images into a folder and don't have to search from a drop down menu where they might live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I dislike that I currently don't totally understand all of the features that PhotoShelter has to offer, or even what ours has to offer. I feel as though there was no real onboarding with how to use things. While I know that PhotoShelter is able to be tailored for "our" needs, I think we just aren't/weren't sure what those could or are. Having someone help us figure that out more would be helpful. "Robust Metadata Benefits, But Portal Glitches Persist"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I think PhotoShelter for Brands is an excellent product. It lets our team at New England Conservatory organize and upload our photo assets, and we're interested in storing video and documents as well. The reason why it's so good is because of its robust keywording features and metadata, which help keep things organized. Especially when we have many ads, particularly with print and social media, we need to target specific groups and instruments. We can quickly search using the AI search feature, which we love to use. I also really like how the new Lumen portal looks and feels. Overall, I think it's fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I do run into a lot of glitches sometimes with the portal. Things like duplicating themselves, and the drop downs on the left not quite working right. Sometimes it'll randomly refresh, show up out of order, or be very jumpy, so I just wish it was a little cleaner. I'm not really a big fan of the organizational stuff like moving and duplicating galleries; it feels like a little bit of an afterthought, and I'd love to be able to organize our folders more quickly. "Lightroom Classic Integration That Streamlines Sharing in Seconds"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

The Lightroom Classic integration has been a game-changer for our workflow. I can publish assets directly to our brand library without leaving Lightroom, eliminating manual exports and saving real time every week.

Sharing with stakeholders is equally impressive. A quick share link gives clients and team members access to clean, professional galleries without needing an account. What used to take email chains now takes seconds.

The platform is powerful for admins but approachable for stakeholders who just need to view or download assets. That balance is rare and genuinely appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Occasional performance issues can disrupt the workflow. The site sometimes loads slowly and requires logging out and back in to resolve, which is a minor but noticeable friction point during busy periods.

The bigger frustration is the pricing on AI/Intelligence features. The benefits are clear and compelling, but the cost is high enough that budget conversations rarely get past the price point. For departments without enterprise-level budgets, it feels like a valuable tier that stays just out of reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PhotoShelter: Outstanding Support, Strong AI Investment, and Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Most importantly the customer support. Next would be the investment they apply to AI, performance and integrations. Along with those subjects, they are steadily work to create a better UX for the customer and end user. PhotoShelter is hands down the best product for the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

PhotoShelter is in the process of moving to a new UX. With that comes random growing pains that need to be attended too. On the positive side of that, I feel PhotoShelter listens to the customer to fix those issues quickly and listen to improvement suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Supportive Rep and Helpful Team—A Platform Crucial to Our Success"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Being able to talk directly with our rep and get any questions answered has been a big help. Everyone is genuinely nice and helpful, and the platform has become crucial to our department’s success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Sometimes the year-to-year increase in cost can be difficult to navigate within our budget, since it varies from one year to the next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
