Prosper AI handles 50% of Calls Without Reaching Front Desk
Prosper AI's voice agent handles over half of our call volume without ever reaching our front desk: booking, rescheduling, cancelling, and confirming appointments directly in ModMed, or routing calls straight to the correct staff member. Most patients are pleased with how the AI handles the call: 97% of the calls the agent closes end-to-end have a favorable patient sentiment. Our phones are now answered 24/7 which has extended our coverage from the 35 hours a week to 168 hours a week. Calls are answered after hours, during lunchtime, and on the weekends. When staff comes into the office in the morning there are less messages to attend to since our AI has handled most of them.

Prosper AI was also the only platform in our evaluation that could build outbound call agents, which was a capability we specifically needed and other vendors couldn't support. It writes appointments directly into eClinicalWorks with no manual entry and offers Spanish-language scheduling, so we're not limited by bilingual staffing — all part of an AI workforce that fills the schedule, not just answers the phone. Prosper is the only company that we have been able to find that is able to update the patients insurance information within our EHR system.
