I like Metal’s simplicity and structure. It let me find VCs using filters relevant to my company, including which VCs were active, had a history of investing in my vertical, and were in my network. I could see the people I was directly connected to and their connections to find the shortest path to each VC. It was very heuristic-driven and algorithmic, and it alleviated a lot of the operational overhead of finding people I didn’t know I was connected to or needed to get connected to. It greatly accelerated the execution of my fundraise while leaving the plan building and approval on me. It was an exploratory tool that didn’t try to instill a process I didn’t want. Metal provided more than enough information to make an informed decision, and setup was very easy, especially since I got manually onboarded. I always recommend Metal to founders fundraising for the first time.

I love the new agentic interface. It means I don’t have to click through multiple screens to reach an outcome; instead, I can ask a question and get to my end goal with a single natural-language prompt.<br><br>For example: “Find a list of the most relevant investors who are most likely to invest in my company based on my geo, sector, and stage.”
