I like that Metal removes a lot of the administrative work around researching firms and investors and trying to get warm introductions. I can draft, review, and approve emails very, very quickly with just a few clicks, so I can focus on building the company instead of fundraising research. The pitch deck evaluation tool is really helpful: I can get a clear score, see major gaps I was unaware of, and get specific feedback on what is missing or weak. I also like the clear metrics for categories that need work. Metal is effective with its investor database and identifying portfolio founders I can reach out to for warm introductions, and that helped me get a bunch of meetings. I can specifically find the investors that match us best and know exactly who I reached out to. It was also pretty easy to set up and pick up in a couple of minutes.

Usman and his team are executing in exemplary, 'case-study-worthy' fashion, to recall my B-School roots. So kinetic are their existing - and evolving - tools that Metal.so could veritably shift entirely established mores within wider private capital markets.

I use Metal as the single place my raise lives. Pipeline tracking plus the AI update builder means I'm not maintaining a spreadsheet, a doc and an inbox in parallel, and the call intelligence gives me a record of what each investor actually cared about which matters when you're running many conversations at once. Agent Mode does the research pass I'd otherwise hand to an analyst. The net effect is that our raise runs like a sales pipeline rather than a scramble, which as a former GTM person is exactly what I wanted.
