Faster Performance and Handy Smart Folders, but Price and Missing Features Hurt
It’s much easier to search for content pages. The smart folders are very handy and give the user more control.
I don’t have anything positive to say about the price.
Integrations work well with other systems.
We implemented a combination of headless and a normal CMS, and the site performance has proven to be much faster than the older version of Kentico.
Support hasn’t been consistently great. When we found a missing feature that existed in the previous version of Kentico, we were advised to add it as an “idea” on the forum, with only the possibility that it might be added to XbK.
We haven’t used AI yet.

Great Usability and Customization, but Vulnerability Patching Needs to Be Faster
The usability of Kentico and the customization options it offers are the main reasons we chose it. Its integration with other platforms is smooth, and the performance has been great.<br><br>One area for improvement would be fixing vulnerabilities as soon as they’re reported, or ideally even before.<br><br>Kentico support is excellent, and onboarding a new app on the platform is easy. Pricing is also competitive.<br><br>I haven’t had the opportunity to work with the AI/Intelligence components yet, but I’m hoping to explore them later this year.

I find Kentico extremely easy to use as a CMS, which is a huge plus for us. It's a very teachable platform for our customers, making the transition smooth and efficient. The switch to a "release" based system, instead of major version updates, is a major advantage, ensuring that our customers can use this CMS for years. Additionally, using Kentico with other tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Azure AI Search, and Google Analytics expands its functionality and efficiency for our operations. The initial setup was incredibly easy, making the whole process seamless for us.
