Inkable Docs is a Google Docs add on that helps teams create and maintain accessible documents at scale. It runs directly inside Google Docs and scans documents for accessibility issues related to structure, images, tables, links, and formatting. Issues are surfaced in a sidebar and users can jump directly to the exact location in the document to fix them.
Inkable Docs is designed for continuous compliance. It supports day to day document creation by faculty, staff, and content authors rather than one time remediation projects. Automated fixes are available for common issues such as missing alt text, improper heading structure, inaccessible tables, and unclear link text.
The product is commonly used by universities, public sector organizations, and teams that rely heavily on Google Workspace and need to meet ADA, Section 508, and WCAG requirements without requiring specialized accessibility expertise or complex workflows.
