BillyBox is an invoice management tool designed for freelancers, sole proprietors, and small businesses who receive invoices via email.
The application connects directly to email accounts — supporting Gmail, Zoho Mail, and any IMAP-compatible provider — and automatically identifies invoice and receipt attachments within messages. Users do not need to forward emails to a special address or manually download files.
After collection, users review and classify each document as business, personal, or ignored. The desktop interface uses a three-panel layout with
keyboard shortcuts (B for Business, P for Personal, I for Ignore). The mobile interface provides swipe-based classification — right for business, left for personal, down to ignore.
Classified invoices can be exported as organized ZIP files sorted by category and month. The export is designed for handoff to accountants or bookkeepers.
Additional capabilities include automatic data extraction (vendor name, invoice amount, currency, date) from PDF and XML attachments, and a vendor rules system that remembers classification preferences.
Infrastructure is EU-hosted with AES-256 encryption. Email access is read-only. A free tier is available without requiring a credit card.
