We started using Journeys to turn onboarding into a visible sequence of tasks, owners, approvals, and deadlines across HR, IT, Finance, and Facilities. It did not suddenly make every department work faster, but it removed the need to message four different people just to find out what was still pending. That coordination is where Freshservice has been most useful for us. Onboarding is rarely an HR-only process. We handle documents, policies, and employee information, but IT still has to prepare access and equipment, Finance confirms payroll, Facilities manages credentials, and the manager has work to complete before the first day. With Journeys, we can define that process once and reuse it for onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and location changes instead of rebuilding the checklist every time someone moves through the organization.

It is very easy to use, and the customization and automation features greatly assist with daily tasks. The reporting tools also feature a great, intuitive interface for generating key metrics.
