Fathom allows me to be fully present during Zoom meetings instead of dividing my attention between the conversation and taking notes. The interface is straightforward, and the Zoom integration makes it easy to record and transcribe meetings without adding much friction to my workflow. After each meeting, I receive an email recap with the transcript, summary, and key takeaways, making it much easier to revisit important details and follow up on action items. The transcription and AI-generated summaries are generally accurate and save me considerable time, although they still benefit from a quick human review for names, context, or nuanced conversations. Performance has been reliable, and I haven’t needed much support because onboarding and everyday use are intuitive. For the price, Fathom provides strong value by reducing administrative work and allowing me to concentrate on the people and ideas in the meeting rather than documenting everything myself.
