Zero Setup, Real-Time Collaboration, and Cost-Saving Auto Hibernation

Zero local setup and pre-configured toolchains make it easy to get started right away. I also like the real-time pair programming and collaboration features. The built-in serverless development support is a nice touch, and the cost efficiency from auto hibernation helps keep usage under control.

Solid Cloud Database with Steep Learning Curve

I am using Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) as a cloud database, allowing me to choose PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc., based on my needs. Since I am already using AWS services like S3, EC2, AWS Lambda, and IAM users, I find it good that RDS integrates within this ecosystem. I can access RDS outside of AWS with credentials, use it locally with a Node.js backend, and update the database on the cloud. I appreciate that I can connect it with MySQL Workbench and add security layers as per our requirements. Being able to use MySQL Workbench to connect with RDS and update the whole database without logging into AWS again is convenient, as it eliminates the need to export and import data each time.

Easy Browser-Based IDE with AWS Integration, but Dated UI and Slower on Large Projects

I like that AWS Cloud9 provides a full development environment in browser .it's easy to set up, accessible from anywhere ,and integrates well with AWS services
