The VGG16 architecture is simple and easy to understand. There aren't much complex blocks or layers. One can easily customize the activation layers and build a simple CV application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since the model is quite small compared to EfficientNets or Res-Net based models, the performance of the model is comparatively low and can't used in production or research Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
