O que você mais gosta SMS-Magic?
I would strongly caution any business considering SMS Magic, especially if you plan to build automated workflows around their short-linking or CRM-integrated messaging features.
Our company used SMS Magic at scale for recruiting and lead-nurture workflows. We relied on SMS Magic’s team and support guidance when implementing short links inside our messaging system. The core issue is that we were told the links did not automatically expire, and we built workflows around that understanding. Later, after links started breaking, we spent weeks going back and forth with SMS Magic through calls, emails, account access, examples, and troubleshooting. In one thread alone, there were dozens of emails, yet the root cause was not properly identified.
Eventually, we contacted the third-party link provider directly and were told the links did in fact have an expiration policy. That contradicted what we had been told and explained why links were breaking inside active workflows.
The operational impact was significant. We had to spend our own time and money having developers investigate, scan records, regenerate links, and repair workflows that should not have failed in the first place. We also experienced business disruption because prospects were clicking links that no longer worked.
The worst part has been the handling of the billing dispute. After months of support failures and conflicting explanations, SMS Magic still tried to collect charges connected to the same period and issue. We disputed those charges and requested a written explanation. More recently, it appears our prepaid SMS credit balance may have been reduced in a way that does not line up with normal usage, and we have asked SMS Magic to confirm whether disputed charges were applied against prepaid credits. As of this review, we still have not received a clear written accounting.
My concern is not just that a technical problem happened. Technical problems happen. My concern is that SMS Magic gave incorrect or conflicting information, failed to identify the actual cause in a timely manner, left us to pay for the cleanup ourselves, then continued trying to collect disputed charges without providing a transparent breakdown of the account activity.
If your business depends on reliable automated messaging, accurate link behavior, clear billing, and responsive support, I would be very cautious before building anything mission-critical on SMS Magic. Análise coletada por e hospedada no G2.com.
